Expresspark-South Lot

First time I used airport parking. Excellent overall customer service. Very impressed by their professionalism and coordination from beginning to end.

Like the people but they just do not have enough vans on the road. They have gotten bigger with more spaces but they did not adjust van capacity accordingly. They often only have two vans running so it can be a 15+ minute wait – while I watch other parking devices circle multiple times. Time to switch!

Being that it’s only a parking lot, I didn’t expect to be writing this review, but oh how quickly things change! I returned from a business trip at 1:30 am to a flat tire (pre existing bubble that just gave out). Unable to leave the express Park South lot, the staff was more than accommodating and willing to help. I wanted to specifically point out Frank who was the gentleman that had picked me up from the airport earlier in the night. Like a dummy, I didn’t have any money to tip him with upon my arrival back to the lot, but he still went out of his way to help me, offering to try to hook up an air compressor and even run to wawa to me up something if I needed it. Also, the nice woman at the gate provided me cold water and was very helpful in directing AAA to my vehicle. Again, my expectations for a parking lot are pretty limited, but when people go out of their way to help you, especially after a long business trip at an ungodly hour, it’s greatly appreciated. I look forward to using express Park South again and will be making a special trip back to the lot to make sure frank gets the tip he so greatly deserves. Keep up the good work!

What a great company. The shuttle drivers were courteous, professional and prompt. Notably, they went above and beyond to help my wife and I with our dead car. They gave my car a jump in the lot but then when I drove back to Arrivals to pick up my wife, the car died again. JK, the shuttle driver, saw me waiting and recognized me and asked if I needed another jump. He didn’t have cables with him so he quickly went back to the lot, grabbed cables and came back to help.
This is not what I would necessarily expect from a car parking lot, but their helpfulness seemed like second nature to them. We were so impressed with this company and would definitely recommend them.

Needed to update my rating. I was contacted by Expresspark notifying me that I would receive a voucher to compensate for the 1 free day check in that was not honored.

I had a very good experience here. Quick and easy to book on-​line. I arrived at 5 AM on a Wednesday, found a spot right at the entrance and caught a shuttle immediately. Shuttle was prompt when I returned at 6:15 on a Sunday evening. Everyone I dealt with was very courteous, professional and helpful. I like the fact that the lot is attended, and it felt much safer than other services I have used.

after 30 years using a nearby lot, this is our new airport parking. Super friendly staff; decent price; takes reservations and we even got some mints to go from the clerk when we paid our bill. everything here is new and fresh.

Always skeptical about these places HOWEVER this is my second time using them (I travel weekly and I hate to inconvenience ppl to p/​m/​u) They are prompt courteous and get me to the airport timely. In addition when picking you up from your return flight they are there within 10 minutes so no waiting to get to your car. Easy to access all main roads to get home. I will definitely continue to use them as long as long as I don’t have a ride from family or friends.

I had my first experience parking at the ExpressPark South lot this week, and it was a mixed bag. On the front end, there were no issues whatsoever. I had given myself plenty of time so I wasn’t in a hurry… got a spot close to the entrance, there was a shuttle was waiting and I only had to wait a few minutes before it departed for the airport with one other customer.
However, the return experience was not quite so smooth. A little over 15 minutes after I had called to get picked up, an empty van rolled through the Zone three pick-​up area. The driver had stayed in the far left lane, which I thought was odd, but I waved and started walking towards the van, which stayed in the lane and just rolled right past me. Maybe I should have whistled or something, but my arms were full, and I just stood there in the far left lane, going «WTF?!?»
I called back and asked what the deal was… yeah, I was pissed but I wasn’t rude or anything… and got hung up on. Ten minutes later I called back and asked if I needed to take a cab to the lot. I was told the van would be there any minute. It finally showed up about 5 minutes later, and was mostly full. In fact there was an older couple who had just arrived, and they were unable to get on the van due to lack of room.
All told, it took about 40 minutes to get on the van from the time I called, which is way too long. I get that it was a Thursday afternoon and probably one of the busiest times of the week… and that’s the only reason why I’m giving two stars rather than one. But the whole time I was waiting, I saw vans/​shuttles from other lots rolling by picking people up. So sitting there for 40 minutes on a sticky, humid afternoon when I had been gone all week and just wanted to get home (and needed to use the restroom but didn’t want to miss the van!), pretty much sucked. I will park elsewhere next time.

We were very pleased with the excellent service provided by Expresspark. The shuttle picked us up at our car in the parking lot and it was waiting for us on our return as soon as we got our luggage. All employees were friendly and knowledgable and there were no surprises or hidden fees to pay upon check out. We will certainly use Expresspark again!

No complaints at all! Was able to drive up without an appointment… although spots were limited. Waited 0 seconds before parking before driver pulled up for me. Brought me right to the terminal.
Upon landing, driver was there by the time I arrived to the pick up spot.
Way cheaper than parking at the airport, with very good service. I’ll be back.

This is my only place to park when flying out of Philly. I have been using this lot since it first opened several years ago. The staff is great. The location is incredibly convenient — just a minute off I-​95.
The only reason I didn’t give 5 starts is because sometimes the wait for the shuttle at arrivals is pretty long. I always call early too but still have to wait at times.
As to the other posters regarding getting penalized and treated rudely if you don’t book in advance — I’ve never booked in advance before (I actually didn’t even know that was an option). I’ve never had a problem. Always pay the same rate — whatever is on my frequent Parker card.
I recommend you give it a try.

If I had written this a while back it would have been four stars. If I wait much longer, could drop to two.
In brief, if you are coming from south of PHL, including Main Line traffic streaming down the Blue Route, then this place is really convenient. It’s close to I-​95 and so the van gets on the expressway quickly to get you to the airport.
Like every parking deal, you are somewhat at the mercy of the timing of other customers and the intelligence of the folks working there. We find it works smoothly and quickly two out of three times and the other times you are wasting an additional 5 to 10 minutes. We must use it once a month and have certainly had no disasters expecting 20 minutes from entry to airport.
The place seems to be deteriorating in the sense that as they improve it physically, they have gotten crazy rule-​bound. They seem to try to be forcing everyone to reserve in advance, which makes some sense, but can’t be followed all of the time. Then if you forget your coupon they punish severely. The weird part is that they will sit there endlessly waiting for you to pull it up on your smartphone, then they don’t even scan it or anything, just look at it and give you the discount. That plus the tendency to scold you if you have not reserved ahead of time makes the whole thing feel very grade school foolish.
What may be the last straw is that on the internet they still (as of today) have $ 6.75 (before tax and fees) daily coupons on the internet site, they also have at check-​out one of their typical bossy signs saying that these coupons are not accepted, no matter what the expiration date, and that the new coupons are $ 7.95 a day. Have they functionally raised the price without telling anyone?
With the fee structure and tips for drivers, we’re probably back to the airport parking garage for one and even two-​day turns, and will probably shop around a bit to see if we can find a more agreeable bunch. Too bad.

I have used other large chain airport parking lots at various airports and was surprised that Philly doesnt have more to offer in that respect, but this lot worked out ok.
This parking lot was a lot further from the airport than I was expecting, and coming from the north on I-​95 It made me nervous to pass the airport on the way there. It all turned out to be an easy find, just give yourself time to get there and make mistakes. The google maps gps has no trouble navigating me to the right place. I called them the morning of to make sure there were some spaces available. There were, so I drove in and parked where I was directed. Within minutes I was greeted by the shuttle (more like a van) which was to take us to the airport. Since we were the first on the van, we had to wait 5 – 10 more minutes till more cars pulled in so that we were taking a full load to the airport. The drive to the airport took about 5 – 8 mins. Upon returning to philly, they give you a number to call to get picked up. We had no problems with this end of the service.
There is a online coupon you can use (6.95 per day), but even with that– total our 4 day stay was ~$ 35.
There is no wow factor for this lot, but I would use it again bc there arent too many other options and it was a good experience overall.

This has to be THE BEST place to park Philadelphia Airport. I have parked here many times in the past, its never crowded, they pick you up immediately and they tell you about the discount coupon on the internet or on your smartphone.
Who ever runs this business should be commended on such a «FANTASTIC JOB!» I can’t remember the last time I had such a great experience parking at the Airport.
When I got to my car, it was dead, nothing. I had a set of jumper cables in the back, but the driver said,“No need. I will be right back and get it jumped for you.” He came back in a minute, had a charger, hooked it up and BAM… ready to go! I asked how much do I owe you? He said nothing. Well I tipped him… again, I had already tipped him for the pick up at the airport. Great guy, great service.
To top it off, the cashier-​Barbara, was pleasant, friendly with a great smile and disposition.

I parked here on a Monday for a three day business trip. I have parked here on four other occasions without a problem but not this time. When I returned on Thursday the cashier handed me a handwritten, old style credit card machine receipt that was not acceptable for business travel reimbursement. When I asked for a detailed receipt, the cashier said she would have to go to the other cash register to get it (not sure why all the cash registers would not be able to produce an acceptable receipt). Then a gray haired women in the cashier booth vetoed my request, stating that what they gave me was just fine. I have attached 2 photos of this undated, handwritten credit card receipt with an unreadable company name. It also is not subtotaled and apparently does not cover all of the charges because the charges on top (4 at $ 7.45) do not equal the total charged at the bottom ($ 37.28)
I will probably eventually get reimbursed but it will be a big hassle and will definitely be delayed by several weeks, all of which could have been avoided if this company complied with a reasonable request from a frequent customer.
I will not be returning again.

So, we were definitely nervous about parking in an off-​site lot, having never used one before. Next time, I would make a reservation, since the lot was almost full when we got there. Still, they led us to a spot and picked us up right at our car.
Upon our return, we didn’t have to wait very long to get picked up from the airport, and the driver took us right back to our car. Unfortunately, somehow our battery was dead! I called the main line and told them what had happened and the driver returned within about 5 minutes with a portable battery charger to give us a jump and get us on our way. We had a coupon and the discount with Unilocal check-​in, and the woman at the booth on the way out helped us figure out which one was cheaper, since we could only use one, and one was a percentage off and the other was a free day.
All in all, very classy, very convenient, cheaper & faster than the economy lot at the airport, and who knows how long we would have had to wait for AAA or a random person to give stop and give us a jump if we were in the economy lot!

I am trying out Expresspark because I got a coupon in the mail. What the heck, right?
The lot is bright and clean. I was picked up immediately by a gentleman who was friendly and easy going. We did sit for about 15 minutes because we were waiting for some other travelers who might (and did) come along. I always come early in case of ‘whatever’, so the wait didn’t really impact me. We got to the airport in about 10 minutes. Based on my first experience, I would probably use this service even without the coupon.

This is the lot that my company approves for us to use when we travel on business.
Upon entering the parking lot for our departure, the shuttle was right there soon as we parked. The driver helped us put our bags in the van and took us promptly and safely to our airport terminal.
Soon as we landed and got our bags, we called the number on the card they gave us and soon as we walked out of baggage claim there was a shuttle waiting for us.
The people that work here are very friendly, from the drivers to the gate cashiers.
They have a frequent flyer type card where you get discounts for the more you use their service. Be sure to ask for it.
