Artistry Salon and Spa

I had a frustrating experience at this salon. I booked a hairstyling appointment to get some curls for a wedding later that day. To their credit, the staff is really friendly and still accommodated me when I ran 15 minutes late.
I have shoulder length hair and asked for curls. I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted. The stylist said she’d do tighter curls so they’d loosen during the night. One hour and 45 minutes later I left because I was running out of time. Most of the curls were barely curls at all and some stuck straight down. The amount of product in my hair made everything stiff and look like I had half the hair I did. I had to fix it when I got to the hotel. It was a complete waste of time and money.

As soon as you walk in your made to feel special. The receptionist made me feel welcomed, she was efficient and professional and I certainly appreciate that.
I had never been to this salon before and was a bit apprehensive but those feelings vanished when I met my stylist. Jazmine my stylist started off with a great scalp massage which was totally relaxing. from that point on I knew that this was going to be a wonderful experience. I had a photo of what I wanted my hair to look like and she did exactly what I wanted.
Thank you for making my day! Will return in the fall for another visit.

My experience here was mixed.
5 stars goes to the stylist, Emily. She did her best in a bad situation and even though the color wasn’t what I wanted (will explain later), it was a fantastic color job and cut. She is experienced, friendly and does a great job.
The hand massage during the shampoo was divine.
The place is pretty and relaxing.
3 stars goes to the procedures which created my experience there. I called with very specific details that I needed a foil weave. The appointment setter and I talked through what I needed and I got off the phone not feeling like there would be any issues. That was more of an intake than I ever give booking a hair appointment and we seemed to understand each other.
When I arrived, it turns out the appointment setter made the appointment for a «root touch up» which apparently wasn’t going to allow any time for the stylist to give me the service I actually wanted nor the color, even though she booked time for a «consult» as well. I had to select an in-​between color to «get me by and then we can do the weave next time.» I am not used to a stylist that isn’t able to flex at all on time to accommodate a customer, especially when it was a salon mistake. I would’ve even been willing to stay longer to get what I actually wanted. But the stylist had a stack of appointment slips and let me know there wasn’t time for that today. She was apologetic and regretful, but no alternative solutions were offered. I wasn’t offered a discount or any other accommodation by the salon. I used to own a day spa and I understand the scheduling challenges a place like this faces, but I didn’t feel like the customer was first in this scenario at all.

This has been my Florida salon since they opened. The feel is quite calming as compared to most salons that are loud and hectic. The stylists always listen to your concerns and address your hair problems. They are always keeping up with the latest products too. Love the Oribe line. Wade will continue to be my stylist for a long time to come.

The salon is very stylish! As soon as you walk in you know it’s a classy place. The people are extremely friendly and the service was excellent. My cut by Jasmine changed my ugly thin split ends into a beautiful thick head of hair! They coached me about taking better care of my hair! I will be back in 4 – 6 weeks!

I just started staying in Estero for the winter months and was not looking forward to finding a hair stylist. I didn’t think anyone could color and cut my hair like my stylist up north. (I have short hair that is colored with foil highlights.) Shelby at The Artistry Salon has been my answer. The salon is very nice and modern and they make you feel very welcome — not intimidated. She took a lot of time with me to understand what I was looking for in my color and cut. I have been really pleased with the results and am back for my second appointment. I am not exaggerating when I say people stop me on the street to compliment me on my hair.

This was my first visit to this chic, zen-​like salon. It’s so fresh and modern. The receptionist was really sweet. My stylist was Star, and she really lived up to her name. She was so trendy, hip and totally knowledgeable. She called my stylist (in Washington) to check the exact formula for my hair color. She did an excellent job on my color and a superb haircut. I am officially a permanent customer. I booked my next appointment with Star!

I’m in town visiting my parents, needed my hair cut, and honestly spent about an hour searching online for a salon that can do men’s hair and a beard trim. I bit the bullet and booked an appointment, knowing nothing about the place other than what I’d seen online. And man am I glad I did. Not only was Emily nice to chat with, but she made my hair look fantastic. I showed her a hairstyle I had saved in Pinterest, and she made it happen. The staff were professional and kind, the atmosphere is modern and tranquil, and coming from Washington DC where I usually expect a men’s haircut at a salon to start between $ 45 and $ 60, I was charged way less than that. Highly recommended, and I’ll be sure to go back whenever I’m in town.

Wade and his staff are extremely professional and do wonderful work! His team and him are dedicated to perfecting whatever style /​color you may be reaching for. Also excellent cutting mens hair as well!

I love, love, love my new look. I have been wanting to get the courage to actually make this drastic change. My hair color was dark and my length was long. I had been wanting to go lighter for some time as well as get a new stylish cut. I ended up making an appointment with Emily. The first thing she did was to sit down and consult with me on what it was I wanted. I was very comfortable in that she actually understood what I was picturing and trying to explain. I will be changing my profile picture very soon. Emily, Thank you so much!!! Your the best! I am so excited !!! I feel like a movie star !!!

A big thank you to Emily for dealing with my picky ways and make me a very happy client at the end of the day! We flew in for our niece’s sweet 16 and last minute I wanted a blowout. I was very pleased! Emily did a great job even though I drove her crazy.

Been coming here for awhile now and wade is the best! My hair has never looked better. Organic products are the way to go!

I love this salon and Rebecca Mesa. She has been cutting and coloring my hair for over a year now and I can’t say enough about her. She is skilled at what she does, listens to my wants, advises me about what might work and just does such a great job. The salon is clean and neat inside and the staff are super friendly.

Every staff member here is so talented! I have been going to Wade and he has done wonders for my hair. Their all natural color and products are beyond amazing. I am constantly getting compliments & love love the color. They have a lovely lavender garden with a water display when you come in and they also give a arm and hand massage during your wash which will put you to sleep. I leave feeling like I left the spa highly recommended
