Hubby and I just returned from a 3 night stay. Used it as home base for excursions into RMNP and Estes Park. Pros: Beautiful, new, clean property. The style is adorable(Moose lodge décor). The location is wonderful. Gorgeous landscaping. Having the river RIGHT out the front door was really cool. 90% of the time we had our door open to enjoy the sounds of the river and fresh mountain air. Saw ground squirrels, elk & hummingbirds from our patio. Estes Condos has 3 kinds of properties in this area, Antlers Pointe caters to couples. Only 2 people in the condo — so it deters bringing kiddos to this part of the condo complex. Since we were leaving our kids at home — it was nice to have a kid-free stay. Office staff & housekeeping were helpful & attentive. Cons: the price! We splurged for a romantic get away, but soon realized when we got there, we could have stayed somewhere comparable for less. This seems nit-picky, but the kitchen counter space! Have you ever tried to make coffee and breakfast on 10 inches of counter space?!? We are self-proclaimed foodies, and were looking forward to getting some good steaks and cooking out on the grill, making some romantic dinners, etc. But after preparing our first breakfast, we ate out after that. Again, nit-picky, but put some comfortable chairs to sit on the patio! For $ 220/night, I want to sit in something more comfortable than a $ 5 chair from Walmart. Overall, very nice place, but you might be able to find a better deal with just as good of quality somewhere else.
