Superior Pecans and Gifts specializes in gourmet foods and candies. We offer a wide variety of jams, jellies, mixes, dips, peanuts, pecans, ciders, drink mixes, raw and candied pecans, peanuts, as well as a great selection of unique gifts!

History

Established in 1934.

Superior Pecans made its home in an historic Blacksmith shop, constructed in 1897. The original owner of Superior Pecans, Mr. Hugh Sparks added pecan processing machines and extensions to the building shortly after purchasing. All of the original machinary used by Mr. Sparks and his colleagues are still in the building today. These machines and a more extensive background of the factory are offered for your viewing pleasure in a free tour.

Business Owner

In August of 2011 the Shoffit family purchased Superior Pecans & Gifts, 10-​year residents of Eufaula. Jan, Brad, Anthony, and Emmy all play a part in running the business. After spending multiple years on the road travelling for work, the Shoffit family settled in Eufaula, AL while Brad headed up the retrofit on the Walter F. George Dam in 2002. The Shoffit family decided to buy a house and make Eufaula their home. When the opportunity arose to keep this southern legacy alive, they could not pass it up.
