Literally got the WORST cup of coffee ever. A small latte with their milk alternative, an almond/cashew combo. $ 4.65 for this small coffee and it was so horrible I had to laugh. Barista asked how it was. Told him(and he was very nice) it was awful. He said«really?» and I confirmed it was really, really bad. My companion tasted it. His response was, «No offense man but that’s really bad.» So, umm, yeah, it was bad. There was no offer for a do over, no apologies, nothing, just $ 4.65 worth of really bad beverage. I tried sugar and chocolate to make it palatable but just dumped the whole thing. If I’d been offered a remake or different beverage, I would not be writing a one-star review, but bad product simply has to be followed up by great customer service to come out as a neutral or positive experience. Oh, and the credit card reader automatically comes up with options for tips that start at 15%(I think– slim chance it was 10%) and goes up, with no «no tip» option. Since not everyone wants to tip someone getting paid at least $ 9.25 for pouring their drink, I don’t think this is particularly classy. But cool, make that a $ 5 undrinkable beverage. :) Good luck. Perk is just a few blocks north and Amazon Coffee Company a block south.

Best chai on planet earth… Okay maybe just Oregon, but it is delicious. All the people who work here are very nice and accommodating. Stop drinking Starbucks and start living the dream of Tailor’d espresso.

This place is bombdiggity! Good tunes. Good peeps. Good coffee. Only complaint is they close at 3 pm would make a good evening hangout! And I did camp out with my art supplies and MacBook :)

I can’t believe no one else has jumped in to review Brail’s Espresso yet. First, this place is in a different building and has an entirely different feel than it’s greasy spoon big brother next door. They are so different in feel that it’s strange they share a name at all. The café sits right on Willamette in the cinderblock building that the brew supply place used to be. You won’t have any problem finding parking. Inside is quiet, and clean, and tastefully decorated. The barista was super busy — the only one on staff at a 9:00 weekday hour and doing a fantastic job of keeping up and giving great customer service. It was busy for one person to keep up with. They should give that superstar some help or something. He was hard-working, happy, professional, and made a great cup. I ordered a cappuccino because it just feels like a place inside you should order that sort of thing. Eugene-does-Italian-café or something. The cappuccino was very, very good and a great value. Ample seating that wasn’t all taken up by all-day campers with their macs and i-pads all up in there and, did I mention already? –it feels CLEAN! Great place for a business or friendly meet up.
