I use to go to Rainbow Optics years ago and I was a terrible services so I went to the Eugene Eyewear 3 years ago and service is always good. Easy to make appointment, friendly staff, greet you when you walk in to the building, call you in right away with 5 – 10 min wait, Dr. Jung is very professional and knowledgeable. I needed eye doctor urgently for eye injury couple times and they were able to fit me in with their busy schedule. Staff are professional and knowledgeable with insurance coverage, payments, glasses or contact information, the office is always very clean and organized.

The staff here are nice, and Dr. Jung seemed competent, but the glasses were a total fail. The first pair broke at the initial fitting, so I had to wait two weeks to get the next pair. The replacement pair were scratched before I got them, and they did nothing to improve my vision. It’s been a very frustrating experience. I just want my money back, but that’s not an option. I will never go here again.

Nice higher-​end selection of frames — prices were competitive, if not slightly lower… EE was my third, and best quote. Nice friendly people, too.

The staff was very friendly when I made my son’s appointment. They were very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend Eugene Eyewear.
On the day of my son’s appointment, we went to the wrong office, I called Dr. Jung’s office and asked if we could still be seen though we were already ten minutes late. His staff warned me if we arrived past a particular time we would need to reschedule. As soon as we arrived, they had time to see us and started the appointment immediately.
Dr. Jung was very friendly and super thorough with my son’s exam. Though my son had trouble cooperating with the exam he made sure to cover all basis and answer all our questions. The staff allowed us to pick frames without being pushed into a sale. Our experience went smoothly without any hiccups. Thank you to the staff and Dr. Jung for the exceptional service, we will be back and again.

The girls at the counter were unfriendly and made me feel like I was intruding and wasting their time.

It took three weeks to get my glasses because the lab damaged my frame and another had to be ordered. When I got them they did not look like the frame I picked out. I was dissatisfied to say the least. Dr. Jung called me the next day and said he wanted to do whatever he could to make me satisfied. He offered to let me choose any frames I want and they would let me keep these glasses until the new ones are in for no additional charge. I really appreciate him reaching out to me personally and being willing to do whatever he can to make things right.

I wanted to pick a new pair of glasses when we first moved to Eugene and after going to about 3 other different offices, Eugene Eyewear was definitely the one that had the best selection of frames BY FAR!
The girls at the front desk as well as the one working with me on my lenses were very helpful, professional, and polite.
My glasses were ready for pick up very fast, accompanied by prompt phone reminders.
I was impressed the most by the Doctor, though. When I came back a few months later for my eye exam and mentioned the fact the the new lenses I had gotten from them seemed a little too strong, he went out of the way to make sure my glasses had lenses of correct strength and was unreservedly committed to making sure they corrected their mistake at their expense. I was very pleasantly surprise, since I didn’t even plan on asking for this correction, I just mentioned the fact as a mater of fact. But Dr. Jung offered it himself and saw to it personally it was done properly the second time.
Besides, the quality of my eye exam was also impressive. Dr. Jung really pays attention to the detail, is extremely thorough, but doesn’t push his recommendation on you at the same time.
I would love to be their regular customer, but we moved to Europe. You, guys who live/​come to Eugene, take advantage of such a great Eye Care place!

I love this place. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Shout out to Jamie W for her awesome customer service. Dr. Jung is super nice and really listens. His office is clean, up beat, and great options for glasses. New equipment and Dr. Jung keeps up on the latest technology. I went in for exam, picked out some glasses, made a decision and came back the next day and said yes I wanted them. That was at 9am by 12pm I had a new pair! Now that was for single vision and mine was in stock but as a gauge on the level of service I was impressed and very happy. My daughter and I have been going for a couple of years now and alway look forward to the appointment.

Been coming here for 3 years never a problem. Very flexible with my schedule always polite and courteous and very professional. We are double covered and they do an excellent job with our insurance. Knowledgeable staff. Fast and efficient my wife and I and our 3 kids were in and out with no problems. Highly recommend. Just called us and our glasses are already done very fast.

I had an eye exam and got a new script.
My eyes continued to have blurriness so I decided to see Dr. Cherner, an Opthamologist for a thorough exam as per Dr. Jung’s suggestion.
The «hemmoraging» was insignificant and not an issue.
The blurry issue was resolved by increasing my script.
Great staff.

Dr. Jung is an outstanding optometrist. His approach is very straight forward and calming and he gives very accurate exams. Been going to him for years and for good reason!

This was the most thorough eye exam I’ve ever had, and the staff had no problem answering all of my stupid questions. They were all so personable and patient. I will definitely come back

The staff here is great and helpful. Also very knowledgeable, which makes process of getting things done quickly.
Selections of frames are vast and include designer brands. They are also great with kids and for kids. One thing I like here is that if your frames break within a year they are replaced. I have had to use this option a couple of times with my kids. Other locations make you pay for this!

Let’s just start off by saying I have super-​sensitive eyes and really terrible vision. I have been coming to Eugene Eyewear for years and they consistently provide me with excellent customer service and really classy frames.
Exams:
Dr. Jung is thoughtful and straightforward in his eye exams; his style helps me stay relaxed and he answers my questions in a way that concisely explains his reasoning behind prescription changes (or further tests, if he recommends them). Dr. Jung is really easy to talk to. He is also on-​time every time I’ve been there, which is nice.
Selection, Staff & Service:
They have a huge selection of high quality frames and the staff will work with you, extensively, to find the right fit to complement your face. Staff recommendations are highly reliable (they do look at people trying on glasses all day) and they know their product.
For prescription sunglasses, the staff can help you pick out the lens-​color, tint-​level and type of coating. This is good, because I prefer to hide behind an opaque, reflective wall-​of-​cool on days when the sun is out, and that’s what I got with my sunglasses.
Bonus:
You can come in without an appointment to have your frames adjusted so that the fit is right for your situation (which, in my case, meant doing pushups without the glasses sliding down my nose).
I also ask them to clean my glasses in the sonic-​washer. My need for clean lenses can be described as obsessive compulsive, and the sonic-​washer takes them back to never-​been-​worn perfection.
Advice for new glasses wearers:
Get the anti-​reflective coating, it’s worth every penny. It prevents the fish-​bowl effect of noticing your own lenses and makes you more photogenic (since cameras won’t catch reflections over your face).

These guys are fantastic. They fast tracked a replacement pair of glasses for us in record time. The staff is great and the selection of frames is the best. I highly recommend Eugene Eyewear.
