Jessie lives in Eugene, enjoying a busy practice as a Certified Rolfer.
Outside of his practice, Jessie likes hiking biking, and rock climbing as hobbies. The activity he enjoys most is Dance. He is currently studying the dance form known as Contact Improvisation (CI) as a way to inform his his own coordination as a moving body, and a crossover supplement to his practice as a movement educator.
He recently co-taught a workshop for beginning CI dancers, and is preparing to lead a workshop in postural alignment for Licensed Massage Therapists.
Jessie attended Massage Therapy school at Lane community College in 2009 – 2010. After four years he decided to advance his skill set when he began his study of Rolfing SI at the Rolf Institute of structural Integration in Boulder, Colorado. He became certified as a Rolfer in 2015. In late 2016 he plans on deepening his knowledge as a bodyworker and movement educator when he begins his education of the Feldenkrais Method in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
