Eugene Urgent Care was founded by an independent alliance of Eugene-​Springfield Emergency physicians and other specialty practitioners with the aim to provide affordable, accessible care to the people of Eugene-​Springfield and the surrounding communities. The Physicians, RN’s, and Mid-​Levels working at Eugene Urgent Care have experience working in Emergency Departments and Family practice. They have been providing medical care to the people of Lane County for over 25 years.

We are supported by experienced medical personnel, reception staff, radiology technicians; as well as the emergency physicians, specialists for back-​up advice, and radiologists for x-​ray interpretations.

The clinic provides the latest computer technology, on-​site laboratory, high tech digital x-​ray facilities and physical therapy.

We offer self pay rates to all patients & bill insurances if requested.

We walked in with a wound and were seen almost immediately. The care they gave my toddler was awesome– super friendly nurses and doctor. Wait time 0 and responsive patient centered staff? That’s a first for me in Eugene.

I went to the Urgent Care on Willamette for an infection. Had a five minute visit with the doctor and got a prescription. Unfortunately, I gave them my insurance card. A month later, I get a bill for $ 263 — 2.5 x the «self pay» option of $ 99. My insurance paid $ 75, they «wrote off» another $ 35 and I get stuck with the rest. They tried to bill my insurance $ 375 for a five minute visit. The lady on the phone with me when I called to inquire about this was condescending and unhelpful. Do not go here. If you have no other option, use the «self pay» option. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INSURANCE CARD. Make THEM eat the difference!

I had a horrible stomach ache and fever for about a week, and of course that concerned me. It ended up costing me $ 420 out of pocket plus hundreds more that my insurance paid. A doctor talked to me for about 10 minutes and they ran a test. They didn’t find anything and had me come back. I had a repeat of the same tests from my first visit on my second visit that I also had to pay for, and despite telling them that I couldn’t possibly be pregnant they ran a $ 75 pregnancy test. My insurance paid for that part thankfully but it still makes me upset. Later I called the billing office and told them about how the prices were different on the website for first time visits from what I saw on my bill. My bill didn’t change. I’m upset because I’m afraid to be seen for serious illnesses now because I can’t afford these prices to see a doctor. I wish offices could be more upfront and honest about costs (like, why not say «this is going to cost you this much» flat out, and not make someone who’s very sick try to decode legalese and fine print?). I also wish they would not do tests I tell them not to do and charge me anyway. Maybe I’m more frustrated about my crappy insurance, or how it’s okay for places to not accept all types of insurance, or how an insurance company can even provide insurance that crappy. Whatever.

If you do go there, ask to be seen by any other doctor than Honey Marques. She is absolutely horrible, spent more time trash talking my regular doctor than on exam. She was rude and condescending. Other reviews will confirm this.

Wow! I just got off the phone with the operations manager after calling about a billing issue. Even with insurance my short visit would have cost me twice as much as a self-​pay patient. Thankfully, she was able to quickly resolve the issue. The actual visit was great, I did not have to wait long and now that I understand the billing (prices are on website) I am very happy. The trick (as I see others have posted) is using the self pay option unless you know your insurance will cover the much higher cost that is billed to them. I rarely have urgent medical needs, but will definitely know where to go in the future if I need to. Thank you April for real customer service!

Wish I could give these guys 10 stars. They are amazing and compassionate My husband had outpatient surgery that shouldn’t have been outpatient. They gave him great care and helped get us back on our feet. Amazing.

The customer service and ease of my visit was astounding. After being misdiagnosed and sent home by the University of Oregon Health Center, I went to the Campus Urgent Care to see if I could find some answers. Not only were the staff extremely helpful and prompt, they were also apologetic and understanding of my situation. The nurses and doctors were all very intelligent and they listened instead of jumping to conclusions. I left feeling much better and with a proper diagnosis. I will never go to any other physician or health care center again, Urgent Care is less expensive, more efficient, and their customer service is impeccable. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Eugene Urgent Care!

Do not go here. I waited for two hours total (after ordering the zip pass) and ended up leaving before even seeing the doctor. I had told the nurse I was feeling dizzy, but despite that, they put me in a room (after waiting for over an hour in the waiting room), by myself, for 45 minutes.
If something had happened, they wouldn’t have known. At the 30 minute mark, I asked what was going on and they said «the doctor was finishing up some other work.» All in all, do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

I went here despite the bad reviews Eugene Urgent Care has received on Unilocal.It was really close by, so it made sense in a time of need. The staff was super friendly and really helpful, there wasn’t a long wait at all (I went on a Friday) and I was seen relatively quick. I would have to say this place is great for Urgent Care. The only downside was that I don’t have insurance so it was a bit pricey, but it was still cheaper than any of the other clinics I called around to in the area.

I would try to go anywhere but here. The front desk staff is friendly, but the doctors range from basic concern to outright rude insinuations. Especially the head male doctor– this man is incredibly rude if you dare to question his way of diagnosing you or his way of doing things. It’s almost scary how unorganized the doctors are there, and how one doctor may be nice to you and then an hour later someone else takes over and turns into a Nazi. They lose your records as well (no record of my prescriptions in the file when I called — even though I had proof from the pharmacy of what they prescribed me with their name on it, they still firmly stated I was lying). I finally ended up going somewhere else that didn’t charge me half of what this place did, and were shocked to hear of their behavior towards my condition.
Please be careful here. At least only request to see the female doctor. And only go if it is the absolute last alternative.

I have been so pleased with my experiences here. My first visit had about an hour wait time, but my second was about 5 minutes. Obviously, it depends on how busy they are. The front desk staff are always really friendly and sensitive to the fact that you’re feeling like crap.
The doctor I’ve seen there twice (his name is Alexander) has been very attentive. He took my symptoms seriously and ran appropriate tests to figure out what was wrong with me. He also was able to order me an emergency test at the hospital, which helped relieve some anxiety and wait time.
Their nurse staff is also great. One of their paramedics worked with me and he was very gentle and caring. He didn’t get blood on the first prick, but he was patient with me and let me take a breather to avoid passing out. Overall, the staff is what you want and need when you’re feeling subpar.
FYI, they can fill some prescriptions, which is very helpful if the pharmacies in town are closed (like on Sunday night).

Eugene Urgent Care is A-​OK after all. Following the billing issue I posted about before, the office manager made it her mission to track me down, apologize, find out exactly what happened (so she could prevent it in the future), and to make it right financially. I’m truly convinced that Urgent Care is committed to serving the community with professional, high quality care at a very humane cost.

The desk staff here are completely rude and unprofessional. The «doctors» constantly misdiagnose problems, to the detriment of my heath. I can’t believe these quacks are actually allowed to interact with the public. The bedside manner is terrible, and the quack actually told me I brought the asthma on myself because I smoke medically presribed marijuana for serious allergies. Save yourself some headache and go straight to the emergency room.

Months after this review, I got a email from the office manager apologizing for my financial experience. She has sent me a letter stating that the front desk has been re-​trained on the self-​pay policy and gave me instructions on how to take advantage of the this option in the future. On top of that, «in a good faith effort», she requested the billing dept. do a one time write off of my balance!!! YAY!
I had a great experience there as you can read from my first review. This follow up has bumped up my respect quite a few notches. It showed me that their top priority is the health care of our community. I have and will continue to recommend Eugene Urgent Care.
–side note– Don’t give insurance card/​info if you want to self-​pay because it will be billed by default if it is on record

This review is for one visit to the 1800 Coburg location.
In my experience, urgent care clinics are hella grody, employ surly front desk staff, and the sorrowful looks in the doctors’ eyes make you wish someone would write a Uncle Tom’s Cabin for medical student debt slavery. Not here! Everyone was nice and helpful, nothing was sticky or smelled funny, and the doctor seemed like he enjoyed his life. The wait was awfully long, but it was a holiday, so this is understandable. I am very happy with the care my sick baby received and will return here in the future.

Ive been here 3 times in the past month for a recurring bout of pneumonia. With no health insurance it’s the best alternative there is. Every time Ive been, Ive been seen quickly, and always in and out within an hour. The doctor I deal’t with was really caring, understanding, and took time to do the research about help for me, since I take a medication that makes treatment for pulmonary problems next to impossible. I think they do good work. The problem with alot of people, is they think because they are sick, the whole world stops just for them. It doesnt. Good place, caring staff, 5 stars.

I’ve been here three times in the past year, two of them because of my own injuries. The times I had gone for myself, there was no one ahead of me, and the wait time wasn’t too bad, but there is only one doctor there at a time. The time I went with someone else, the wait time was about an hour because it was so crowded. but it happens.
They have always been incredibly friendly and efficient.
