Specialties
Eugene Yoga: A Sanctuary for Mind, Body and Spirit offers over fifty classes a week for students at all levels. Eugene Yoga is a community fostering a safe and nurturing environment in which students explore yoga, a practice of awareness, and other healing movement modalities.
History
Established in 2010.
Eugene Yoga was formerly Tamarack Yoga and prior to that it was Four Winds Yoga. In November of 2010, the current owners, Diane and Lou Butera, learned that the long standing program was about to close. Knowing that the center was vital to the community, the Buteras purchased the yoga program and rejuvenated this amazing center. «We are stewards of this sanctuary and feel it is an honor to continue bringing yoga to our community».

Meet the Business Owner
Diane B.
Business Owner
Diane Butera has been a student of yoga for many years. In March of 2010 she completed her yoga teacher training with Ana Forrest. Her passion for yoga flourished as she wholeheartedly immersed herself in bringing yoga to others. In September of 2010, she was diagnosed with stage 2 cancer and in November she became the owner of Eugene Yoga. Her journey through cancer was nothing short of amazing as she was lifted up by the love of those around her, as well as the many gifts of yoga. She believes that love is the greatest healer. Her desire is to provide a sanctuary for the community where love is nurtured through yoga. Rina, Lou and our wonderful staff complete the circle of stewards to this beautiful sanctuary.
