Walked around for an hour and nobody acknowledged us. The sales lady walked by many times and never even said hi. Other people came after us and we’re seen before us. Very unprofessional service. When we finally had enough we started to walk to the car and finally we were asked if we had any questions. I told them we had question but we were going to give our business to somebody else. I wish I could give negative stars. This place doesn’t deserve anybody’s business.

I guess you either love or hate this place. We liked it. We had a pleasant experience. Marie was nice, typical sales person trying to make sales, maybe a little overbearing at times but she treated us well and once we agreed on a price it stayed at that price. The finance guy was great. The service people were good and prices were fair for accessories + they offer a veterans discount. I must say Jeff really doesn’t seem to know what’s going on or suggest things you need but he was friendly. I would recommend this dealership, just wish things would have moved a little faster. We will shop there again.

Pretty angry right now and sad for the hubby. We bought a new camper from Sutton RV. which I would recommend no one ever go there!!! They went through our truck twice told us multiple times that the camper we were about to purchase would fit perfect for our truck. Weight and all everything would work out. We took the camper out once and blew the airbags in our truck. We then called them right away to let them know all the things that were happening. They then told us to do all the options to our truck another $ 2000 or so and we did and that still didn’t help. We have been going back and fourth with them for a few weeks now and nothing has changed we literally can’t haul this camper safely on our truck and its a brand new camper. They have finally made a decision and won’t take the camper back they would only give us half of what we paid an we would lose thousands plus the money we put down on it. Not sure what else to do now the fact that they can get away with this and not even care. Its brand new take the dame camper back we don’t even care about the extra money right now. Pissed there is nothing we can do but angry as a business owner that you would do something like this to your customers. I have nothing good to say about that company.

My sister bought a brand new travel trailer there, we went with her for the walk around. We loved her trailer and the outstanding customer service she received so we bought one as well. We are all looking forward to our newest camping memories together! Thank you Marie for being who you are, I will highly recommend you to anyone in need of any RV

What a fantastic experience. Admittedly, I just went to look at trailers, having already decided I liked the R-​Pod line. I was met at the door by Roger and things couldn’t have gone more smoothly. No pressure to buy, just accompanied me around the lot as I looked at various models. It turns out that Roger had only been there about two weeks, having recently un-​retired from auto sales. If he didn’t know an answer he made sure to find it out for me. He also introduced me to John and Terry during the discussion process and I walked away a proud owner. My car has to be fitted with towing equipment and I can drive away. Each phase went smoothly, unhurredly, and with no pressure. I’ll post a follow-​up here once I go through the delivery process, but for now I couldn’t recommend them (and Roger) highly enough!

I had a lot of fun throughout my RV purchase. The family style service you receive here will really make you feel like you did the right thing by stopping in. What a gorgeous selection of both high-​end vehicles and also the more every day folk affordable RVs. Marie, John Stone, and Terry make for a fun reliable team to get you what you need. We laughed together and we may have even gotten to like each other. I look forward to the memories to come in our new Camper. Keep shining, and I can’t wait to pop in and share some adventure stories with my new friends over at Sutton. Thank you guys!

We bought a 40 ft fifth wheel Trailer to travel the united states. This was last July it is now January of 2016 and we still can not go on our travels because of furniature which was dammaged when we purchased the rig. Sutton service dept is really good at passing the buck. We have even contacted the manufacturer and they assured us it was all taken care of and we still have not heard from them. when we call them they don’t ever know anything duhhh. We live 250 miles from Eugene and it is kind of inconvienent to go and jack them up when we need answers. We have furniature that is vinyl with tears in the fabric that they just want to repair? I could go on and on but my advice would be to stear clear of George Sutton RV. As soon as you buy the rig they forget who you are!

I brought my R-​pod travel trailer to be repaired at George Sutton RV and they were very helpful in getting it fixed so I could get back on the road. A special shout-​out to Ron, Terry & Jeff for personally addressing my concerns. I plan to replace my R-​pod in the next year and will make a trip up to Eugene to see them when I do.

My star rating above is about the service after the sale-​or at least after the commitment of the sale. We purchased a 27FT Airstream from them early June of this year. We are very happy with the trailer (even though we already have to have about 5 items of warranty work done to it already)-we were even happy with the service for the walkthrough when we picked up our trailer. My warning is for anyone that needs to actually converse about the pending sale or after the sale-​dont assume they will contact you. Its been a bit of a game with my husband and I as to how many calls we could make into them without them being answered. Always with the excuse that they are so busy they just dont have time. We had questions regarding pickup, pricing and service during and after the sale-​not once did they return our calls, but we ended up figuring it out ourselves for the most part, but it was pretty frustrating. Sutton-​if you read this, good for you for being so busy, but you are sacrificing service by not having enough people to deal with it which means everything in the end.

Worst experience with their service center! After we bought our ’15 toy hauler have had several issues and service dept trying to blame us. Also made «notes» in their system that during the walk through we as customers didn’t pay attention even though we asked SEVERAL QUESTIONS and the guy was more interested in going home then helping us. We will be taking our business and any future service business else where. They are a joke.

We purchased a 5^th wheel at the beginning of the year. We had an appt to pick it up from out of town in 2 weeks, but it was very obvious they didn’t bother to go over it until we pulled into their parking lot. Their lack of attention to detail, from propane leaks to inoperable electronic components, plus lack of follow through has been disappointing. Still no resolution six months later!

Purchased a new 25ft Airstream in 2010 from Sutton. Traded in my 16ft Airstream for that transaction.
They set up the Airstream on my tow vehicle without informing me that my Equal-​i-​zer weight distribution bars were inadequate for the increased trailer weight of the 25ft trailer. This is a safety hazard and they certainly know better.

My wife and I wanted to buy a new T@B trailer. We picked this dealership since there are no dealerships that sell this brand in our area, the other option is traveling three and a half hours to another dealer.
We called at the end of September asking for one and there were none in stock in the floor plan that we wanted. A salesman asked for our number and said new stock would be in about 5 weeks later. Great, since it would be around our wedding anniversary, perfect gift.
Five weeks later, no call. No big deal, I called and spoke to another salesman.
He stated that because of not being able to keep up with production, the units were running behind. They should be in around mid-​November. OK, a Thanksgiving gift.
Again, no call back. I started calling again and someone would get back to me with information regarding arrival dates. Once again, no one called back. This time I asked to speak with a manager, and he took my info and set up the sale.
This time, they told me that new units would be in at the beginning of December and there would be one set aside for us. They called us and we began the paperwork, then they call me back that the units were committed to other buyers. WAIT!!! WHAT??? There was one more unit that would be set aside for us, we had the paperwork completed and they were going to call me back to set up a pick up and training day. This was last week 12/​12, I called back today since I had not received any information (12/17)…guess what… a manager calls me back and says (with no apology or anything), that the units were sold and that if we were interested we could have the next one that came in, in about 4 to 5 more weeks!!!
This has been the worst experience trying to make a purchase. There is no clear structure or communication within the dealership. It seems that if the sale is not immediate, they could care less for your business.
Each salesman seems to be doing their own thing, who cares about commitments or following through.

Spoke with a salesman there about putting in a custom order an a T@G trailer. It was late in the day and he needed to check on something and said he would email me the next day. This made sense to me since the manufacturer is in Ohio. So the salesman never called back nor did he email me. It’s not like it is peak season here folks — no excuse. So I called back a week later and asked to speak with the GM and left my number. Some other sales guy called back claiming to be some kind of manager and after quickly asking who I previously dealt with (and skipping the part where he asked for details) said he would talk to the sales guy then made a pitch to sell me a trailer. I am sorry but I will not be doing business with a company who pays lip service to customer service.

I purchased a new Excel fifth wheel from Sutton RV and the whole experience was exceptional. We traveled from out of state to purchase the unit and because there was little chance of repeat business, I didn’t expect much from them. The sales and service staff really surprised us by immediately addressing the minor issues we discovered and they even hauled me around town to buy a special set of batteries. Sutton’s staff were VERY accomodating and a pleasure to deal with.

I was referred by my dealer in KC to have some warranty service work done on my 2012 Jayco fiver, because Suttons is a member of Route 66 RV Network. I was a little nervous based on the low stars and some soft reviews. I am happy to say that it went great, they got me right in and diagnosed the water heater problem (bad pc board). They had the part in stock and I was in and out in about 3 hours. They were very nice, accommodating and professional. I got to meet the owner George and we had a nice talk. I would not hesitate to send anyone to this place for service… (Note: they are a towables only dealership… I don’t know if they do chassis work… I would assume so.

I have read all the reviews and find it unfortunate that Unilocal has become a social media for complaints. The RV business can be a rough road. I have not owed a RV that didn’t some issues. I live in Olympia and have been to Sutton RV on many occasions. Have always been treated well. I now own a 10 year old Airstream and I have no expectations that nothing will go wrong. When it does I will take to Sutton. If they get it wrong I will take it back. Service department is busy BUT has always treated me with respect. I do not expect them to K-​M-​A. Please check everything out before you leave the service lot. If it is wrong they will fix it.

George Sutton the owner reported this month on Unilocal that I came back to his dealership for parts so they must be OK with me now. Well George, the fact of the matter is that that my RV maker — Redwood RV, no longer sells parts directly to owners and my choices were very limited.
You should also know that I called for parts two times. Once I got them OK but recently my order was not placed and fell through the cracks. That said, if I need parts in the future I’ve found another dealer that I’ll order from.

Unless you enjoy spam, AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. I contacted them to get a quote on a travel trailer. They did everything but give me a quote. They repeatedly ask me to call or visit their dealership (I live in WA, they are in OR.) They seem to think that if they can talk to me, they will be able to use their «salesman» tactics to convince me that I will want to pay their high prices. If their prices were competitive, they’d just tell me what they were.
So here’s what I’ve done. I contacted the salesman that is spamming me and told him that since he was unwilling to provide me with a price I’m no longer interested in doing business with him. I’m not calling him, I’m not driving to OR to visit the dealership, and to delete my e-​mail address. He replied to that with «thank you.» He then submitted my e-​mail address to an auto-​emailer so I could be spammed. So I e-​mailed him again, and cc’d the owners, the manager of sales, and the office manager, reiterated the previous conversations and demanded again to be removed from his e-​mailings. In response I got another e-​mail from his spam-​bot. No response from the others at the company.
So I have added a spam filter to my e-​mail for this company and here I am, warning others. Like spam? Sutton RV is your place. Want a dealership that will deal with you with respect and be straight-​forward with you? Go elsewhere.
Reply to owner’s comment: While it’s unfortunate that their business was a victim of arson, this doesn’t excuse the way they handled this matter. Nor does it excuse the way they have handled it since I notified the BBB and wrote my reviews. I have received no apology, only false accusations.
Their fire was on Aug 14^th. I didn’t receive my first e-​mail from them until Aug 20^th. So the excuse of not having access to a «specialized printer» (which makes no sense in the first place) doesn’t fly. I never opted in to receive these automated e-​mails. When I requested they stop sending them, they should have. I did not trust their opt-​out link and should not have had to use it since I never opted in. I didn’t want to click something that was going to be submitting my e-​mail address for further spamming.
I still have all the correspondence. I don’t have an e-​mail that refers me to the website for a price. The closest thing I have says I can find all the information I need on the website. As for Airstream and Redwood not allowing dealers to show anything but MSRP, I wasn’t interested in either of those, so that’s a non-​issue.
As for «this person finally opted out,» if you consider asking you repeatedly to stop spamming me opting out, yes I opted out. I never clicked the opt-​out button. But I do thank you for finally removing me.
Now for the «written threats.» EXCUSE ME??? How exactly did I threaten anybody? If you mean that because the salesman ignored my request to stop contacting me, then when I contacted you, the office manager, and the salesman — I was still ignored — I cc’d the rest of the office on my final e-​mail to request once again that I be removed or I’d be putting my experience on Unilocal,Angie’s List and notifying the BBB… okay, I threatened you. Or some could look at it as giving you the opportunity to do the honorable (and much simpler) thing and just stop spamming me. Perhaps one of those three e-​mails I sent would have been the time to explain that you couldn’t right now but you would as soon as possible.

Sutton RV is the Bomb-​diggity!!! After buying an Airstream trailer in California I had some work done at a very disreputable rv repair place. No heat and no power unitl I landed on the doorstep of Sutton RV un-​announced and no appointment.
Tom and the entire service crew got my Airstream in on the same day as they realize I am a «full timer» and actually live in my 1973 Excella 500. A few hours later came the call for the problems found and very carefully documenting the actual issue and the suggestions for repair. As my furnace was out of commission, it needed total replacement. The furnace was delivered overnight and with all the other repairs they still got me out in one overnight stay.
Upon inspecting the furnace install it instantly became clear that the generic duct work didnt fit and custom heat duct attachments were fabricated in their shop. The installation of this furnace was really a work of art, not one tiny pinhole leak and really this is craftsman type level of work. Two weeks later I was in Montana in –19 degree below zero weather, reading a book on my couch in a t-​shirt, thats a kick ass furnace!
My Airstream is my home and just dropping it off and staying in a hotel can give a guy a very uneasy feeling, when I picked up the trailer not one thing was out of place and not one bit of dirt or debris left over from the repairs.
I will never take my Airstream any place else and rest assured that this is one service crew that is a CLASS ACT!
