Dr Helen L.
Business Owner
Her life in dentistry started over thirty years ago as a dental assistant at the age of sixteen. As a dental hygienist for fifteen years she took advantage of the knowledge each doctor she worked for had to offer. Having ten sisters and brothers Dr. Lester is no stranger to hard work and competition. Attending dental school in her thirties was a welcome challenge.
Her goals for becoming a dentist included providing excellent dental care in a compassionate manner, providing a positive working environment and eventually teaching.
Dr. Lester is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a member of the American Dental Association. She is a certified trainer for CEREC and runs a CEREC study club for Lane and Linn Benton County training other doctors in the use of CAD CAM dentistry. She is published in Dental Products Report and routinely reviews dental products for Dental Products Review.
