Lewis & Clark

I just got married at Lewis & Clark a month ago and couldn’t be happier! As another reviewer said, the place may not look like much from the front, but the inside is beautiful, and the view out back overlooking Alton Baker and the river is gorgeous! The bridal and groom’s suites were amazing too! Lots of room in the bridal suite for me and 5 bridesmaids, and it sounded like my groom enjoyed his man cave looking room with his groomsmen!
Anthony was really chill, very accommodating, super flexible and overall really awesome! A big part of why I chose this place for our wedding was because I had heard the food was amazing, and I had heard correct! Anthony worked with us to make the perfect custom menu! We had a lot of dietary restrictions to work around, and a budget to keep, but he was very patient and we found a perfect menu that was phenomenal!
As far as planning the event itself, we worked with Molly on details of the day of. She was awesome as well! Just as accommodating, easy to work with and very accessible! Wedding day went swimmingly! We had a planner, so that made it easier, but it was easy to see that the staff was super on it as well! Very friendly and accommodating as well!
Overall, we had an amazing wedding and are so thankful to Lewis & Clark for helping make it so amazing!

I am remiss for not reviewing Lewis and Clark earlier! My wife and I were married here in 2013. Chef/​Owner Anthony Parshall was absolutely amazing. He is not only the very image of business acumen but he is also very down to earth and genuine. Anthony helped us through the entire process, allowing us to customize absolutely everything while guiding us to keep us inside of our budget. His staff is incredibly hardworking as well and made everything go smoothly.
The building is unassuming from the front but once inside and on the back patio you will be amazed. The space allows for an almost endless amount of different setups and decoration. It has an amazing view of Day Island, the surrounding canal, and their abundance of flora and fauna.
Anthony’s food was amazing and was met with rave reviews from our guests. I had high expectations and they were quite frankly blown out of the water. To this day many of our friends and family still comment on how much they enjoyed their meal at our wedding. We enjoyed the food so much we returned to enjoy some of the «happy hour» dinner events that were held here later on. I am very sad that they are no longer doing those as it is the only opportunity to have Anthony’s food outside of hosting another event here; something I am starting to seriously consider just for the food!
I highly recommend Lewis and Clark Catering for any of your event or catering needs. Should you ever hear of an opportunity to have lunch or dinner here you should jump at the opportunity.

Just want to say that I had the best macaroni and cheese ever tonight at this place. Mike got the slider trio which consisted of one pulled pork slider, one BLT and one cheese. We also got the fish tacos, thinking that these were just going to be small portions… wrong!!!

We used a Groupon here for their Friday Inspired dinners. We tried to book before the Groupon expired but could not get in as they were full, so we got in 2 days after the expiration date and they did not honor the Groupon. Pretty bad!!!
Service was excellent, food good but scarce (they could have at least added some additional noodles on the plate with the meatballs). Wine was superb!
I would never pay $ 65 per person for this when you can go to King Estate and get absolutely wonderful food for ½ this price with superb wine as well.
