Had the pastrami. Good bread, mustard, onions and most of all well spiced meat. Not a huge pile of meat but not skimping either. Good service and reasonably fast. Don’t judge because it’s in a gas station.

I’m a regular. I eat here more than once a month. The food is delicious, fresh, healthy. Its the best food I’ve ever had at a gas station, and some of the best Middle-Eastern food in Eugene.

K, so I stop by this dive in a gas station & they’re out of Nacho’s. A burrito place out of Nacho’s? Isn’t that like a Texan without an accent? Anyway, so I order something else & go to pay with my Visa, which they’re signs says they take, & the lady says that the machine is broke. Screw this place.

Best falafel I’ve eaten since leaving the San Fernando Valley. Not surprising, since the family that owns this place used to operate a falafel place there. Probably the best food you’ll ever get in a gas station. They’re quite nice, too.

Eugene is not a great place to get pastrami sandwiches(or sandwiches at all, really), so it was nice to find this place tucked away in a gas station, far away from most of Eugene’s restaurants. Mommy’s pastrami sandwiches are amazing. The falafel is pretty good, but I’d go for the pastrami. They are really greasy, but that’s part of their charm. Get all the toppings. You will leave full. You will leave with that greasy-feeling in your stomach, wondering if you need to run a few miles to appease the diet gods. But you will leave happy if you like hot pastrami sandwiches. Give it a shot.

Good sandwich spot in a gas station quickie mart? Yeah, it’s true. I’d seen the sign for Mommy’s falafel a few times but was in a hurry to fill up and go. Today I made time to go in and I’m glad I did. The falafel was great. They served it soft taco style instead of stuffed inside the pita. I also ordered one of the pastrami sandwiches for my co-pilot and snuck a bite. It was a grease bomb but delicious. Both sandwiches were kind of sloppy so I wouldn’t recommend trying to eat them in the car. Overall a solid sandwich spot if your way out westside headed to the coast or fern ditch.

OK I tried the Pastrami and it is really really good, good quality Pastrami, nice roll and good mustard, off the chain main. :)
