Office Max

This stapples sucks we bought a vary high priced printer with everything. We wont do it agian ther tained to talked u in to anything we were told buy the man that sold it to use after it broke down. And we would have send it in. For the first year … so please read your paper work or just dont buy …

What a lousy customer service experience! My son ordered a desk, the one stop I didn’t go with him in the store. The slick sales person told him he could pick up the desk in two days. Low and behold after the two days no desk and was told that the desk would now be 2 – 3 weeks. He paid for the desk on a very limited budget and had to go out and buy a new desk and here’s the good part– He was told the money would be placed back in his account or never taken out. Not true I just contacted the 877– 633‑4236 customer service number. After waiting for 15 minutes the girl hung up on me… Waited for her to call back… Nothing. Had to call back and then was informed that now my son will have to wait for a check two weeks!
Another words they have your money but cant put it back in. What a disgrace. Any other office store would have placed the funds back in. We will never go back and now I want him to tell all his friends so they wont go in either.
What a poor example of bad customer service!

This place sucks so hard. Extremely difficult to find anything with their bizarre, vague labeling. Row upon row marked with signs like «Office Necessities» and «Office Essentials». What does that even mean?!
We walked circles through this store three times trying to find some labelmaker labels. Nothing. None of them anywhere on the long wall full of labels (which, btw, had no sign to indicate that’s where you can find labels, we eventually found it by accident). So after a good ten minutes of wandering around and having found not a single employee, we went up to the front to ask one of the three employees who were just standing there doing nothing (because this place barely gets customers anymore).
Apparently the label maker labels are NOT in the unlabeled label section, but rather, you can find these labels in the section labeled «Calculators and Software». Why didn’t I think of that myself! This place should be renamed Franz Kafka Office Supplies Supplier.
Anyway, we didn’t buy the labels. Same labels that cost $ 12 on Amazon, are a whopping $ 26 here! I’m happy to pay a little more to buy something in-​store, but I’m not going to pay more than twice as much. I noticed btw that the label maker itself was also $ 80 versus the $ 50 we paid at Staples two weeks ago.
I think I’ll brave running into my ex-​boyfriend who works at Staples before going to Office Max again.

Great helpful staff. I was able to walk in with just a thumb drive and some publisher files for labels and business cards. Very rough stuff but needed to get going. I walked into the copy center the gentleman was very helpful and suggested some card stock to use for the business cards.
For the labels, I didn’t that many so he sold me the individual sheets and printed them out. Only $ 0.89 a sheet which had 30 labels. Pretty good for a first try.

Hardly a purpose to shop here when Amazon has similar — or same — products at better price.
The business model is archaic, stale, generic, banal, and bloated. Its 2013… apparently Office Max is lead by anachronistic-​people (if thats a word).
Wake up and innovate!

So I wanted some color copies done on a thick glossy paper… what I got was total crap! It was super thin and way much more then they quoted me… I will not be using their copy center ever again!

I use their Impress Print center whenever my printer is out of ink, because I can email the document and they’ll print it, for a reasonable price. Which is super helpful
Usually they are very helpful, but sometimes-​not so much.
Outside of their print center, Service and Items are satisfactory.
