We are a Mom and Pop Drum Shop.

We build Ashikos, Djun Djuns, Frame Drums and Shakers for sale by appointment or via the internet. www​.slaphap​py​drums​.etsy​.com

We have repaired every type of broken drum that has crossed our paths. We can simply re-​head your drum or refurbish it from top to bottom.

Connor also teaches private and group lessons. He performs clinics and master classes at preschools and old folks homes of all varieties. So far his youngest student yet was two years old, and on the other end of the spectrum was a lady of 104 years. From seminaries to nudist colonies, Mennonite retirement homes to music festivals, Womens groups to one on one, lessons/​clinics are available for all. Private lessons are available on site or at your location.

History

Established in 1999.

Connor started SlapHappy right after high school, after a successful apprenticeship Charity joined the team and eventually agreed to marry Connor.

Hi, I’m Connor from SlapHappy Drums.

I love drums, drumming, woodworking, and teaching. I consider myself to be a pretty lucky guy.

I’ve been playing drums since the 6^th grade and have been enamored with woodworking my entire life.

I’m a third generation woodworker and do my best to live up to the standards my Father and Grandfather taught me.

I’ve been playing and building since I was a teenager, I’ve run SlapHappy my entire adult life.

I’ve been teaching professionally for the last seven years, and leading clinics for the last two.

I have three cats and a dog, I am married, and we both love fishing and Oregon.
