My first review needs to be updated. It has to be said that St. V’s does a LOT of good for the local community and your donations actually help fund those programs, unlike Goodwill. Things have become a little more realistic regarding pricing and overall the experience has gotten better.

Okay, this is a warehouse and based on size, yes, there is a lot of stuff here. Furniture, bikes, exercise equipment, sporting goods, books, housewares, books. A lot of junk. Didn’t see any clothes… did I miss something. I came out empty handed, so I can’t rave about any great finds. That’s all in the game

I confess; I’m a thrift store junkie, and this place is as good as it gets! A friend of mine took me down here one sunny morning, and I walked out w/an armful of lovely clothes and a new purse(all for under $ 20) that would have been quite expensive if I’d paid retail! The place is well laid out and organized,(very rare for thrift shops out here in my neck of the woods,) the merchandise is *beautiful* and in great shape, and the prices can’t be beat! Wish I could have picked this place up and taken it home w/me!

This is a great St. vinnie’s. Each time I go there I find some treasure for a fraction of it’s worth. I scored 3 new pairs of shoes in their boxes(Cole Haan) for only $ 5 each. woot woot! They have an amazing book section as well as new, shiny baubles. Spend a few hours getting lost here.

Although I don’t want anyone else to know about it because I am greedy and selfish, I also try to be generous, so I will say: oh my fucking GOD, the books. The books. The books. They sell gorgeous, prime condition, classic 1950s and ‘60s paperbacks(we’re talking Tropic Of Cancer, Leaves Of Grass, Wuthering Heights, Catcher In The Rye, The Bell Jar, etc…) with amazing cover art for a quarter apiece. Now don’t all you other fuckers beat me to the punch, mmmkay?

i think this is the right location, I haven’t lived in Eugene for about 6 years, but if this is the main warehouse, then jackpot. this would be where all the donations end up for sorting, but the general public can enter the warehouse and poke around. this is the best way to score the really rare finds, since they are here before they get distributed to the other stores around town. big piles of old electronics, sporting gear, kitchenwear, you name it. I found all of my old stereo equipment here in college, each piece costing no more than $ 5. I once saw an entire video editing deck here, but didn’t have the money or space for it. They also get cars dropped off here, usually for pretty cheap and in various states of repair. Once came across a 1971 Ford Mustang Mach-1 that someone had donated, sitting in the warehouse waiting to be auctioned off. this is like the ultimate in non-clothing related thrift store browsing. a goldmine.
