History

Established in 1999.

In spring of 1999, The Wireless Source opened its doors in Eugene. We did so with the pursuit of creating a new breed of cellular store– one that is focused on bringing greater value to customers no matter if they are shopping for one wireless device or a 1,000.

Born on the foggy Northern California Coast, Hamlin attended the University of Oregon and graduated with a business degree. She began life after college at a Courtsports Athletic Club as the Sales Director. After a few years there, she moved on to a local Credit Union as the Marketing Coordinator. While at Oregon Metro FCU, she was promoted to Vice President of Marketing and finally to Executive Vice President.

After six years at the Credit Union, Hamlin was looking for a personal challenge. She left that position to begin a new venture with a friend and associate, Cindy Pedersen. Their company, The Wireless Source has been successful for over 15 years and counting. The ever changing world of the cellular industry makes this an exciting and fulfilling career.
