Green Top Lawn Care

I love Green Top Lawn Care. We’ve used them for the last few years since moving to the DFW area. They are always on time and do such a superb job. I don’t remember how we found them (but I’m glad we did), but we purchased a foreclosed home and the front and back yard were a mess. They have been the primary source of helping get it into shape. They have done everything from cleaning up shrubbery, to pulling up shrubs, to laying out sod on a hot spring day. They’ve fixed a botched fence another company did and brought us up to code with the city.
A few days after our first service, Carter and his partner came back by the house to drop off a business card AND a handmade birdhouse. No only was the birdhouse rustic and cute (made from old fencing), it had the special added, personalized touch of my house number on it. Being in marketing and seeing the same stuff day in, day out, I was completely impressed by the originality… so much so that the birdhouse still sits on our kitchen counter for everyone to see, 2 years later.
A couple of things I really like about them is that Frank has the same guys come out to work on the yard, so I get to know them. I believe Carter is his main guy on site and he’s always a delight to chat with. Currently we have Frank and his team mow our front and back yard and I always feel like my yard has had a makeover when they are done. They are very meticulous. I’ve seen Carter outside directing the guys when there is one grass blade out of place. They edge like seasoned pros and even blow the leaves off the deck.
The other thing I really like is that Carter and his team takes the time to explain things (what kind of bush or flower this or that is. What will plant well in what kind of shading/​light). They are very knowledgeable and will take the time to talk with you and even suggest ideas.
I know there are ‘other companies’ and craig’s list ads for cheaper services, but they are extremely fair in price, they are quick to respond and they do an amazing job. You get what you pay and they are worth every penny.
I should also mention that last summer our family was across the country for my husband’s work and Frank and his team kept our yard neat and tidy while we were gone. Our neighbor even mentioned how nice our yard looked while we were away. It’s nice to have someone you trust keep things in order for you while you are away.
Don’t hesitate to give Frank a call. I’m telling you, they will not do you wrong. When there is so much competition out there, I’m glad I found one that takes pride in their service and doesn’t just see me as another customer.

I have used Green Top at my old address so when we moved I knew who to call. Frank and his team always explain what will be done and any challenges that may occur up front. I have used them for both landscaping and lawn care and have been very pleased with both. I will call them in the future for any lawn needs.
