Players DFW NightClub

My girlfriend and I went here this past Saturday. We had a blast. The patrons were friendly and the music was good. The action was slow to get going but was worth the wait. I was concerned that we wouldn’t fit in since we are a lesbian couples. We fit right in!

Usually good crowds Fri and Sat. Other nights less so… The mood is relaxed here. Not as fake and pretentious as some other clubs.
Not always a lot of action in the «play» rooms.
We’ve met some cool people.
The crowd may tend to be a little older and less fit than average.
Takes some patience for us to find people we want to play with… but to go with no expectation and just hang and chill is good sometimes too.
Staff is good, prices very fair.
The place is safe and not too gross… We have visited a few places that didn’t pass these 2 criteria.

We love players! It’s our go to place when we go out. We’ve been to a couple of other clubs in Dallas but always come back to this one. People are much more approachable and the new remodeling is awesome. They completely redid the bar, added a soft swap area and a voyeur room (which I love). They also revamped the outdoor patio/​smoking area and are adding a hot tub. We’ve had a lot of fun in the above ground pool out back. Pool tables, stripper poles and cages, shadow box, voyeur room, smoking patio it has a little bit of everything. Sometimes they have vendors selling cool stuff. Staff is friendly and so are the people. We will definitely keep going!

My husband and I have been going here for about 9 months. We didn’t go there when it was the After Midnight Club, so I can’t really compare the two. This is a fairly large club compared to the other ones we’ve been to. There is a large dance floor and a lot of seating. There have been some improvements since we first starting attending and the patronage has increased. Not many people were attending when we first starting going.
This has become our favorite club in the DFW area. The negatives are that because the club is so large, it’s more difficult to mingle. We’re not really the aggressive types, so we either meet on the dance floor or wait for someone to talk to use. But that’s just us. Also, I think the owner is a little rude. He has cut-​off the DJ a couple of times in the middle of a song (with people on the dance floor) to make announcements. He could at least wait until the song is over and he’s not the friendliest person.
There is not usually a lot of action in the back, but my husband and I usually end up back there.
