The Home Depot

The best Home Depot ever! From the moment we walk in, to the moment we leave we are always taken care of with courtesy and respect! We would choose this place over our local Lowes any day! The employees are super friendly, always willing to lend an ear, or a hand… even when I wander in to pick out a drill for my hubby and don’t have the slightest clue what I am looking for! And not once did they make me feel like a goob for it! I love to go here in the spring and fall and check out the season flowers and decorations! It just feels like home…

I’ve never liked this location because I can never find people to help me. Mary caused this to be by far the longest I’ve ever had to wait in line to return something. She took 5 times longer to process two customers returns than anybody I’ve ever seen.
My company has spent over $ 824,000 in the last 12 months according to my rewards account. It was SO frustrating that after all the thousands of orders we’ve made and times that home depot employees made mistakes, we’ve never made a huge fuss over anything. Mary noticed that there was a gasket missing from one item so she wouldn’t let me return it. I understand she’s doing her job, but she inspected each item of my return like if she was trying to solve a murder!
That alone didn’t anger me as much as the attitude she gave me. Nobody at Home Depot has ever made me feel so worthless and unappreciated like Mary did today. I’ve told everyone that works for me to drive further if they have to but whatever they do don’t buy ANYTHING from the Industrial location AGAIN! That stores going DOWN!

This is the Home Depot I grew up going to, and I still find myself at this location a few times per year. It’s helped me through many an art project during school and all of my first gardening endeavors.
I don’t really see any problems with the entrance/​exit/​parking lot as some other reviewers have stated. I think the customer service is wonderful when it’s available, but I’ve definitely had trouble finding an employee to ask for help when I’ve needed it. They might be wearing those bright orange aprons but damn, they’re hard to track down sometimes.
Product and prices are great, although I think I might prefer the gardening center at Lowes. Home Depot comes across as more of a dusty, DIY hardware store whereas Lowes feels more like, I don’t know… a Target or something. More cutesy commercial stuff, I’d say.

I just left the store where the old Mexican man who moves the stock (no tag, 55ish) is too lazy to walk to the back of the store and help me find something that I wanted to buy I’m going to go down the street to Lowes screw this store

This location is hit and miss with regards to their service levels. Finding somebody is many times a challenge but once you find someone they are consistently knowledgeable, willing and ready to help. They maintain their store effectively, and well stocked. Specials are clearly labeled and overall a good experience while shopping. When checking out they predominately use a self-​serve set up which can be challenging with some of their larger more awkward items.

The location is close to me, so that’s why I give it 3 stars for «convenience». This particular store is 1 of the older locations but has had a face lift recently, lol.
Customer service is ok, nothing exceptional. Normally I do just fine finding things on my own because let’s face it I am the only one who knows what I want right? Ughhhhhh I hate having to try to explain something to someone who in the end prolly didn’t know what I needed any way.
Sometimes they have what I need, sometimes they don’t :(

We go to this Home Depot a lot for the tools and parts we need for our home projects. They have great sales and their employees are friendly, but not always knowledgable. It took three different employees to show me the way to the tool boxes…
I’m not a big fan of their third party salesmen who approach me and my boyfriend EVERY time we come in the store. We will be in the middle of a conversation and get interrupted by the same spiel we’ve heard four times before. The worst part– we say «no thank you» very politely and they keep pushing. I understand it’s their job and they probably work on commission… but it’s still a little annoying.

Horrible store. I called in to see if they had a product that I was in need of. They told me that they had it in stock. I drove an hour to their store to find out that they didn’t have it in stock like the lady on the phone had told me. So I didn’t get the product and she wasted my time.

I’ve been coming to this particular Home Depot since I moved to the local neighborhood 9 yrs ago. It’s actually a pretty good store. Sometimes you get AMAZING service. Sometimes, it can be hard to find someone to help. All in all though, it’s a great store.
I tried going to the newer, «prettier» Lowes stores. The problem is they don’t have as much. Worse, their prices are higher. I keep coming back to this store. Some really great employees here, too.

Be really careful what plants you buy here. You can get some fantastic things but sometimes a rack of plants will not get watered for days and they’re on the verge of cellular collapse. Lowe’s has a much better garden department.
As another reviewer mentioned, it is very awkward to get in and out of the lot to this particular location.

I came here today to get some caulk. I was walking to the door when I saw a guy right out front selling hot dogs and beverages. Out the corner of my eye I see PICKLES! the good ones! The big beastly movie theater ones! Did I get one? U bet ur boots I did :) anyway… soooo this place is huge and I had no idea where to go. I just started walking, pickle in hand. Within seconds I am warmly greeted by an employee asking me if I needed assistance, I declined because I wanted to wander around a bit. i haven’t been to home depot in years! I head towards the blinds and curtain rods area and then the carpeting and flooring just browsing and passing time. I was approached 4 times by employees asking to assist me, they are so eager and helpful :)
I decided finally to seek guidance from employee #4. He steered me over to the area I needed to be and proceeded to ask about my project and why I needed the caulk, what area I planned to use it, etc. So we get over there and this guy is like the caulk expert seriously! He was going on about the type of adhesives, durability, color, elasticity, dry time etc. I decided on a basic inexpensive one that he suggested. He then gave me a play by play on how to use/​apply it, complete with a demonstration on proper stance. He was great!
I know I came here for one simple little thing, but my 5 star rank is based on the phenomenal customer service I experienced. Did I need all the extra information? No. Did I need several people offering assistance? No. But the fact that it was so willingly available speaks volumes. Maybe it’s because I looked like a damsel in distress, alone munching on a pickle… Whatever the reason was, I appreciated it.
Please not that I’m as girly girl as they come, and my dad hooked me up with a fully loaded tool box. I’m aware that this is a hardware/​home improvement store with aisle and aisles of things I will never use. But I’ll tell u one thing, if I ever have a question or need I would come here for guidance. No question about that.

We just moved into a new house so we have been visiting Home Depot and Lowe’s a lot lately. In comparison, well… I prefer Lowe’s. Maybe because I’m a girl and Lowe’s is «prettier» than Home Depot. Home Depot is almost like I walked into a sand storm. Everything is grainy and blah. But for what it is… a hardware/​home improvement store… it serves it’s purpose. The staff is super nice and helpful… they all seem to know exactly where everything is. If they don’t know, they walk over with you and try to help you find it and they don’t stop until you’ve found it or a substitute. Certain items were a little pricey, like shower curtains and rods, so if you just have to get them there expect a markup, otherwise stick with old faithfuls Target and Wallyworld for that. Otherwise, your lumber, plumbing, and gardening needs should be met in one swift (or 5 like us) trips.

I was very disappointed with the way Home Depot handled my flooring order and installation. I needed to replace the carpet in my daughter’s room. We chose a laminate wood floor and scheduled the measuring service for $ 35 fee. The measuring was done and I placed the order for delivery and installation. The installers showed up late and then they pulled back the carpet and declared the sub-​floor too uneven for hard flooring. I am frustrated with yet another issue with my 4 year old home, but that is another review. However, what I am most upset about is that 1) the measuring service should have caught this and 2) I had to pay $ 97 to the installers for nothing to be installed and 3) Home Depot never called me about it after the installers left and I had to pester them for a weeks to find out what to do and then they finally refunded the balance of my money another week later. I don’t expect them to install flooring if it isn’t possible, but I do expect them to handle it professionally. Never, ever, again.

Dad and I dropped by on Father’s Day on our way to church at FBC Euless to get some screws for a project we were working on. Helpful staff got us in and out in less then 10 min.
Only downside it is hard to get in and out of this location.
