Much of the local flavor focus is based on the artisans who ply their wares to the quaint shops in the downtown area. Blue Spring Trading Post has some of the best Native American art and crafts I’ve seen in a while. I immediately picked out a dream catcher which was crafted by Brenda Saunders, a Navajo Indian from Farmington, NM.
There were carved peace pipes, totems, drums, flutes. you name it, they have it! The shop is tied in to the Blue Spring Heritage Center which I didn’t get a chance to visit. Great place to shop for yourself or others.
