Quick, friendly and cookies to snack on while you wait. This is my go to shop for oil changes. They are always abel to schedule me within a week or sooner and the wait is only about half an hour.

Their staff was rude and defensive when we asked them why we were getting a bridge toll bill from a car we sold to them for parts because they told us the car was supposedly too expensive to repair. Beware!

This place is horrible! I took my infiniti G35 here because my car would not start. They wanted to take advantage of me and charge me $ 3,400!!! They said I needed a new cluster, alternator, and battery and that it would take a minimum of two weeks. I took it down south to a small local shop and they fixed it for $ 100. All it was was some wires behind the dashboard that needed to be organized.

I took my car here for an oil change yesterday and I was very happy with the service. Everyone was friendly and helpful, my car was done in less than 30 minutes and they even served coffee and delicious homemade cookies while I waited.

I have a limited experience with this garage — but I received excellent service
both times. One time they replaced the front end on my Volvo in a record time and for a very reasonable price — the second time was just a minor adjustment for which i was not charged.

I have a vintage VW bus. This car requires creative talented professionals to help me solve problems to things that I never thought I would encounter.
Like a supposed stock muffler that sat so low I thought I had it on upside down. Nope It just was manufactured for apparently a car with much bigger tires. LOL it was terrible. I drove it to Leons all distraught. What to do if anything? Ummm how about a custom pipe, reweld, and clean looking in one day!
Chrimeny what took me days to figure out they did in a few hours and it was amazing.
Cost I thought would be crazy high. But it was very fair for the work that was done.
The counter staff is super nice. They always have fresh cookies and coffee too.
The shop is clean.
If you need any auto repair done or custom project check this local business. Its pretty amazing

It took me a year to find the right autobody shop after moving to the area, but I’m glad I found Leon’s. David is a good & honest shop foreman and Billy has been very helpful identifying whatever was wrong with my vehicles. I’d recommend this autobody shop to anyone in Humboldt County.

Been a Leon’s patron for years. Brothers trusted the work, good neighbors in community. Pay for a job, get a job done. Not so much lately. Over the last year, each time took car in, something worse came back. Filthy car seats, not attached items and the big one that helps me write this for other Humboldt County folks: the entire splash guard was detached. Sure it cost me only about $ 30 + grief and lack of trust. None of us will be taking any more vehicles there. Too bad that some workers got in there just can’t just be checked. And with the lack of resources in good ol’ Humboldt… good luck to ya anyway. Sorry, Dale, it went too far this time.

I absolutely love Leon’s. I bring my car in regularly and all of their staff members are extremely informative and helpful. I have recommended them to numerous friends and will continue to do so!

I love this place. Everyone is friendly and explains service options well. While working on my vehicle, if they discover something else they call and explain it in terms I understand. As their slogan says, service is done right and done on time! Don’t hesitate to take your vehicle to Leons! You can trust them!

Leon’s does a terrific job. I can see why they stay in business. They are provide prompt service, explainable answers about the car, and competitive pricing. They are worth the extra money for the service and skill they put into car maintenance or repair.

I will always recommend Leon’s to anyone in Eureka. They run a very professional shop and I have trusted them with several Hondas and my Nissan truck for close to 15 years now.

A few months ago, a cargo van I had purchased used from a local Eureka new car dealership was having some problems. After 4+ times in service at the dealership where I bought it from and paying for repairs that did not fix the issue — the dealer finally diagnosed it as a problem with the catalytic converter, and offered to fix it for around $ 2000. Keep in mind, this problem was present from the day I bought the used vehicle.
Since it took the dealer 4 times to properly diagnose the issue, I figured I should get a second opinion before I committed to a $ 2000 repair.
So I took the Van over to Leon’s.
I figured I’d much rather give them my business than the original dealer.
They confirmed the diagnosis, but went a HUGE step further.
They let me know that this specific problem was covered under the original 100,000 mile FACTORY WARRANTY!
And…they recommended a dealer to fix it for me.
Now, I had no Idea this was under warranty. Didn’t occur to me. My Van had over 80K miles on it. I was fully prepared to give Leon’s the $ 2K to fix it for me.
Long story short, LEON’S SAVED ME $ 2000
Even better — they didn’t charge me anything to confirm the diagnosis.
That’s customer service. And a very trustworthy shop.
This is why I will continue to bring my vehicles into Leon’s and recommend them to friends. Huge thanks to Dale and the staff of Leon’s.

On day 2 of road trip when our «check engine» light came on. We arrived in Eureka and saw Leon’s by accident. We went in and were treated to excellent, intelligent, fast and effective service. Fifty (50) minutes later we were back on the road. Thank you. btw, they serve up great cookies while you wait — free.

They have always been helpful and friendly. Since I do not know much about cars, I always have lots of questions, and have the fear of being ripped off. But they always explain everything clearly and give me suggestions or recommendations. I never feel like I am being pushed into fixing or buying something that isn’t necessary. They may be a little over priced compared to other car shops, but I would rather pay an extra 10 dollars for quality work. I trust the staff and mechanics at Leons and will continue to go there for my cars maintenance.

The staff here is awesome! They accepted my car 30 mins before my appointment, finished changing the oil quickly, and even fixed my bent tailpipe for free. I will definitely be back.

Leon’s is by far the best service I have ever had for my car.
I take it there anytime I have a problem with it. Not only are they extremely friendly, punctual, and caring, they also do a fantastic job on my car. The vacuum the inside for free and offer you cookies and coffee while you wait. The price is very reasonable and frankly I would pay any amount just to take my car to this place.

Leon’s is tremendously overpriced. Here are recent estimates I received for work done for my 2000 ford focus:
Timing Belt & Water Pump = 790
The FORD DEALERSHIP estimate = 547
Replace Window Regulator= 438 (including $ 100 diagnostic fee)
The FORD DEALERSHIP = 260
I made the unfortunate mistake of finding this out after just having overpaid for a new radiator. I’m sure the work is good, but if they can’t even be competitive with the dealership, something is wrong. They also charged me $ 100 just to find out what was wrong with my window and didn’t fix it. (Because they claimed I demanded my car back right away– which I did not– I specifically said «Take your time!) I’ve had MUCH better luck with Expert Tire on H street– and they offer fair, competitive prices for good work.
