Was snooty on the phone with me when I was just calling for prices! He hung up on me ! Needless to say I won’t be going there to get my computer fixed!

I agree with the other reviews. This place should be AVOIDED!!! I actually had to get the police involved because the guy was such an incredible asshole. This is one of those people who just doesn’t care about anyone, or how he treats them. Not a care in the world. He charged me over $ 100.00 to fix my laptop, and it wasn’t even fixed. He refused to return my money, and the police refused to get involved with a civil dispute. I planned to take him to court, but just didn’t have the time. A solid 10 thumbs down, or — 10 stars, whatever.

I strongly agree with Melissa O. ‘s sentiment. I had THE WORST service experience I have ever had in my life at R & D. The guy seemed fine on the first visit, but when I politely & calmly raised a concern he became enraged and any attempt to reason with him escalated his rage to saying he would call the cops if I didn’t shut up. Background on me: I am one of the most easy to get along with people around and did not get even slightly rude with him. The experience left me wondering if I had met the guy on the worst day of his life when he was going through a mental breakdown from some awful personal tragedy, but after hearing others, that seems to be normal behavior for him. I rarely complain about service… I typically rave or shrug about it, but this was beyond the pale.

I would have minus 5 stars if possible!!! DO NOT I REPEAT NOT do business here what so ever!!! I have been going here for 20 years, Rich kept saying quit buying big box computers I can build one that lasts!!! So nov 2012 i finally had him build one custom. That was the worst decision i have ever made concerning computers!!! 2 months after buying it things went bad FAST!!! Fatal error shut downs daily, windows shut downs 7 to 8 times a day, i mean it was insane!!! I took it back 3 times, every time was the same answer nothings wrong, works just fine i had it run all day and it was fine!!! He said it must be your printers or whatever you have hooked up to it!!! I took it home left everything unhooked about 2 hours later was the 1^st shut down!!! 2 more visits to his store resulted in the same answer, its working fine here!!! So i came home and could only use it for quick jobs and save quick then it would crash, finally this last Monday it went to black screen where windows would try boot but would never happen. I called and the guy who was answering the phone was just a total ASS just like RICH!!! Rich was not there of course and my back up drive was not being recognized by comp so i just wanted to save my DATA i was panicked!!! I had to drive 120 miles to best buy and the geeks saved my data and they said i was very lucky hard drive was bad, one memory bank was bad the comp was not worth trying to fix etc. etc. etc. so today i take it back to Rich and all he said over and over and over was 1 minute after the 1 year warranty i cant help you!!! I said what about the 3 times i brought it in to be fixed when it was under warranty and you didn’t fix it? His answer once again 1 minute after warranty i wont fix it!!! After giving this BAST$&D 20 years of business makes me SICK! I walked out and said i would make sure BAD reviews will be written on every media possible to make sure he goes out of business!!! No one I don’t care who you are deserves this kind of service he gives local small business owners a bad name lets take him off the map!!!
