Wtf… went there for a nightcap. Two workers walk past us. Look right at us too. Didn’t even think to ask if we want some drinks or food. This was app pilar place for us but not anymore. Service is horrible the are better places right up the street

Well, not as good as last time. Service was slow. We had the fish fry dinner. Fish was over cooked and dry. Probably wont go again.

I was in town on business and had lunch. The grilled chicken on a salad with nuts and dried cranberries was delicious. The new owner has really made some great changes and the restaurant is great.

Long wait for food, brought me the wrong meal when finally arrived. My husband was half way through his meal when I got the correct meal. The meals were very good until… My husband found a large glob of hair on his fish. They did respond immediately to it and gave him another order and not charging him at all and took an $ 8 coupon we had off of the bill. The manager also apologized to us personally.

First time I ever are here and will be the last. We were a party of 8. It was a Tuesday after lunch, I’d say about 1:30. The place was dead. It took us about 20 min before we saw a waitress. We ordered right away as we were afraid she wouldn’t come back. It took 45 min to get our food, been there over an hour and still hadn’t eaten yet. My sandwich was cold, had to be remade. Everyone else said there’s was ok. But, not worth the wait.

We have been sitting in our booth for 1 ½ hours and still no sign of our food being brought to us. We are a large group but this is unacceptable. Last time here. Buyer beware. Not good. Giving one star but they don’t even deserve that.

We went there at 4:00 and service was good. At 5 they got slammed with 1 bartender trying to wait on 60 people. she finally got help but he was very slow. we waited 15 minutes to get a second drink and our tab. we asked 3 times and were told OK and ignored. Food was good but if you want drinks good luck after getting the 1^st one. They need more bartenders or servers. We were not impressed with the bar. If we ever go back we will sit outside where you can get waited on. It was obvious that one of the servers helping in the bar was under the influence. He moved like a snail. Not a good experience.

Ate inside. Bartender took very good care of us. Told us about how good the fish was and he hit it on the head. Was deep fried but wasn’t greasy at all. Had the nacho salad before dinner and it was awesome. Has outdoor seating with TV’S so you don’t miss the games.

Very nice people and great fajitas on Monday night. The bar area looks great and there’s two outside decks.

My wife and I went there on a recent Sunday evening. Not many people in the dining room. That should have been my warning. We both ordered the shrimp dinner. Waiter says, «We’re out of shrimp.» Very disappointed because the last time we ate there the shrimp was good. My wife ordered a Caesar salad and onion rings. I ordered a patty melt. Cooked medium. Sitting there waiting and waiter comes back and says, «we’re out of onion rings.» My wife was really upset by now. So, she ordered French onion soup. Food is served and it’s horrible! the Caesar salad was old! Wilted. The onion soup was bland. My patty melt was cooked rare. I lost my appetite. One good note, they did bring some onion rings and I must admit they were good. Wait staff was friendly. But, from our past experience and this experience, it’s pretty obvious they don’t have good management. Good management wouldn’t allow the kitchen to run out of food. They are going to have to improve that place before I return. Spice up the menu too. Even clean up the place.

Neat little spot, very attentive wait staff. Not too sure about bar atmosphere but can vouch for the restaurant. Would have been a five but they truly only offer fried foods for the most part. Would be ideal if they had a raw bar.

Dinner tonight started with 2 for 1 happy hour drinks beer and wine
Tuesday night not tons of folks looked like mainly local folks celebrating birthdays and anniversaries
We had a couple of side salads and shared their mushroom cheese burger.
Looks like it would be s fun place. Service was good beer was cold life is good

Extremely slow service, mediocre food. Too many other places nearby, don’t waste time or money here.

Service was OK, once they figured out which server was ours (took 3 of them). The «famous fish» must be famous for its mystery. The mystery being how you deep fry something and add absolutely no flavor. 2 dinners, 2 drinks: $ 40. Clientele was… questionable.

The famous fish was amazing had fried fish on the famous fish salad… BUT service was horribly slow, had to get our own silverware and our waiter had to be asked more than once for condiments. Sad this place used to be so lively was dead tonight:/

Mediocre food, my burger was dry. Not a big menu, but it’s reasonable. Unfortunately, the service was slow, inattentive and I felt like a burden on the server because of her actions. Not what I would describe as a good dining experience.

I come here because of the relative short distance from my home and the outside seating area (situated right off Lake Eustis). It always seems to take staff a while to get your food and orders and to refill beers, but otherwise not a bad place to hangout at and relax.

Relaxed, inviting and a hometown feel — even for out-​of-​town visitors who never set foot in Eustis. The outdoor seating is casual and pretty comfortable. They had fans running to create a little breeze, (July in Florida).
Service was amazing!
I couldn’t decide on grilled or fried catch-​of-​the-​day. Our server offered to bring me a half-​serving of each! Fish was delicious and the burger my friend got was outstanding.
I really wish I could remember the name of our server, because she was amazing — friendly, thoughtful, suggesting but not pushy, and totally honest. Turns out, she was also the manager-​on-​duty that night — very appropriate.
I’d go back there anytime I’m in Eustis again just because the first experience I had there was so positive.

I’ve never had their food but I can legitimately give their bar service 3 stars… I could easily bump it up to 4 if I frequented there more often.

Directly on the Lake, this hybrid bar/​restaurant (Bar in Front, Full service restaurant and menu in back) had some huge portions and great food. We were there the night of the Superbowl and although the game was on the service was incredible.
A great way to digest afterward is to take a walk along the docks that line the banks of Eustis. (They are literally out the backdoor of the Gator.)
