Was recommended to us by friend, really was not happy with the food. All food tasted the same, like grease.

Bad food and horrible service! Don’t have lunch here. I had a bad experience. The rice wasn’t good and when I approached the cashier she said it was crunchy rice. I damn well know the difference between crunchy rice and rice that is not cooked! I told her I couldn’t eat it and she said NOTHING! She would rather be cheap than please her customer! The rice wasn’t even tasty! The lomein was decent not your greatest! I highly recommend Egg roll Express. More delicious food and better prices for what you get! I cannot recommend this place at all!!!

By far the best chinese food in Augusta! I have never gotten something there that wasn’t good! Their steamed dumplings are so good and they make the best House Angel Hair dish in town! We have tried all the other chinese restaurants in the area and always come back to New China! I work right up the hill in the University Hospital complex and have gotten everyone I work with addicted to New China too! We get lunch from there pretty much every week! Fast service, friendly people, and really great food, what’s not to love!!!

They serve hot fresh large portions. Very good! Especially for a mom on a budget! We will definitely be coming back again.

I am a huge fan of Asian cuisine, and I was really excited to find a restaurant that offered Take out so close to my home. The staff was polite on the phone, the food was moderately priced, and quickly prepared. The chicken fried rice was mushy, and the lo mien noodles were as well. The sweet and sour chicken, spring rolls, and beef and broccoli were decent. I don’t think we experienced the best this restaurant had to offer, so we will be dining in the next time to give them a fair shake

Advertise as a Delivery place and they do not! Evans has so few delivery places, it is very disappointing to have someone say that they do and don’t.

Awesome Chinese food! After trying the place I won’t go anywhere else. The noodles, rice, veggies are all great. Their chicken is good quality, none of the nasty, fatty, chewy kind at most takeout places. I highly recommend eating here if you want great take out.

Amazing service. The food is the best«Americanized Chinese Take-Out» in the area. I’ve eaten at numerous Chinese restaurants in the area and have been generally disappointed. This is the only place I go anymore. The prices are fair and they dont skimp on the portion size. They are very accommodating when you order something slightly different(vegetable fried rice with no mushrooms, for example). Others have knocked the dine-in area. Sure, you dont feel like you’re stepping into China when you walk in the door, but while small, it’s clean and provides exactly what you need, a table and a chair so you can eat your food. I love this place for all my Chinese food needs.

Best Chinese food I’ve had, ever. I ordered a spicy tofu dish and got to try a crispy kung pao chicken one as well as egg rolls. The kitchen was visible and the food was cooked in about 30 minutes for carry out. I found the price to be incredibly reasonable as each main dish yielded about 2.5 meals with rice.

Willing to be Vegan Friendly Don’t come here for atmosphere-basic surroundings, adequate seating but no ambiance. Meals were cooked promptly even though they clearly had a steady flow of take away business. Staff was friendly and cheerful. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. The portions were nice sized and the prices were in line for the area. I ordered mixed vegetables with General Tao’s sauce. Unfortunately, I found the sauce too bland. So quality and value would be 4 stars but flavor was only a 2.5 stars and my friend who had the vegetable lo mein also felt her meal was merely«ok». So while a nice vegan option, won’t be my new favorite Chinese restaurant. Moving on looking for something more flavorful. Their web site is WRONG-they do NOT open at 11am on Sunday, they open at noon.

If you love real Chinese food, this is the place. I tried my third different entrée last night and every one was perfectly cooked, flavorful and really exceeded our expectations. My wife has an MSG problem, she is as ready to eat their food as I am because it is not a problem here. We typically get egg or spring rolls, hot and sour soup, fried rice and an entrée and I can’t say enough about the quality and also the quantity of the orders. The staff is friendly and efficient. When I called my order in, I was told it would be ready in fifteen minutes. When I got there thirteen minutes later, I was told it would be ready in two minutes and it was. Dining in is not really an option, but I will trade take out for the exceptional quality of the food they offer.

This is my go-to Chinese restaurant. The lunch combos are really good. A great amount of food for a good price in my opinion. I love that they to-go orders are packaged in reusable containers. A plus for me. I typically get the wonton soup(hit or miss, based on soup temperature not flavor). If I get a lunch combo I get the sweet and sour chicken with house fried rice. It’s always hot, crunchy and saucy. The sweet tea is good as well, not a cup a diabetes like McDonald’s, lol. I am a bit particular about my fortune cookies and they have the kind I like, vanilla based as opposed to lemon based.

Not many vegetarian options, but their homestyle bean curd(AKA tofu) is amazing. The sauce is perfect, and the tofu comes with carrots, bamboo, broccoli, onion, and even celery! I usually hate celery, but everything was cooked so perfectly that I actually thought it tasted great. All of the vegetables were fresh, definitely no gross frozen veggies here. This is my new spot for Chinese takeout, especially if *nudge nudge* they add more vegetarian dishes!

Great food and service. I order my food for take-out. I have been eating there dishes for years and I recommend it for the value and taste. Next to Publix in Evans… so I go shopping while I wait for the order to be ready. Very very nice people!

Man, I love love LOVE this place. I have a love/hate relationship with Chinese food. My mind loves it but my stomach hates it so it’s not a visit I make often. This place has such an extensive menu that I haven’t cracked the surface in 3 visits. This place is really only good for takeouts and lunches so don’t bring a date here unless you guys really love harsh bright lights and little kids running around. I have a standing order of eggrolls, Mongolian beef, cream cheese wontons, spicy shredded pork or chicken, and Sesame Chicken. It’s a well established fact that I’m a total fatty so I always order far too much food. They have large lunch portions until 3 p.m. and even then, they have fried rice combos so that’s pretty awesome. They serve vegetarian options, lo mein, chow mein, and low-cal dishes as well. I’m a big fan of their house special lo mein and pretty much all their spicy beef dishes that aren’t deep fried. This place is always packed with people waiting for takeout and the phone is constantly ringing so that’s always a good sign. The portions are generous, there are pictures of foods to help you out with decisions and the lady behind the counter is super nice and apologetic when your food takes over 50 minutes for takeout. THe food is good so I’ll forgive them. :-) 31⁄2014
