Description

Specialties

Each of us specialize in highly individualized design and respectful, friendly care created for the self-defined individual. We want you to be you and to feel like you so we give you the tools to express what you want and need. Then we supply the magic to make it happen!

History

Established in 1979.

Created by Patt Murray in 1979 and inspired by a mix of the 18th century French «salon» model– (a group of people who gather to exchange ideas) and «Be Here Now”– (Baba Ram Dass’s book about the pleasure of existence), As You Like It is in its 5th incarnation in a new location at 827 Chicago Avenue. Come enjoy the «garden in a gallery» in our sunny, vintage, storefront loft.

Meet the Business Owner

Patt M.

Business Owner

A sculptor by nature and training, and a small business owner by heritage, I started my first small business with some friends at the age of 12 in Wilmette, a summer day camp for children. After receiving my BFA I went on to study hair design. As You Like It is a perfect synthesis for me: sculpture, design, business and movement in a collaborate work environment.
