General Information About Services:
The psychologists at Gersten Center are prepared to help you establish your unique goals for therapy. Our role is to support you in facing everyday problems with self-confidence and satisfaction. We offer a variety of services in Spanish, including individual, family, couples and online therapy. There are four offices located in Chicago, Evanston, Skokie, and Melrose Park where you can obtain these comprehensive services. In therapy, we are able to help you with a variety of presenting concerns. Examples of common problems addressed in treatment are depression, anxiety, panic, trauma, addiction, and anger management. Therapy appointments typically last for 50 minutes, and the frequency of therapy is generally weekly.

Established in 1980.
Jeffrey Gersten, PsyD founded the Gersten Center for Behavioral Health in 1980. Gersten is a graduate of the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Having worked in schools, private practice, community mental health settings and hospitals, he holds fifteen years of experience in the field. He is on staff at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park, NorthShore University Health System in Skokie, St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, and Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago.
The Gersten Center credits its staff of nearly 30 clinicians and administrative specialists for their superior service.
