Noodles are burnt, service is slow. If you are on a diet, come and eat here cause the 50% of the food you paid for is inedible.

Very typical chain food. I appreciate that they’re fast and the prices are pretty good for what you get, but for some reason I still don’t think it’s really«worth» it. Their soda machine was not working on a few occasions my roommates and I visited — however, I’ll give them credit that it’s one of those fancy machines that dispense a million different flavors. I’ll also give this particular location for being well-maintained and clean every time I’ve been there. Onto the food — I usually get either the Steak Stroganoff or the Pesto with Parmesan Chicken. I’ve also tried the Japanese Pan Noodles before. All of the above have been quite salty, and honestly, the meat always seems a bit suspicious every time I eat it. I’ve also tried the Thai Hot Pot. It was sort of weird — I’d say skip it. The raw bean sprouts, especially, were a huge turn-off for me. Overall, for something I could make at home with non-suspicious meat, I just don’t think it’s really worth it unless the chain as a whole improves on the sketchiness of the meat and reduces the sodium by a bit(even as the nice part of me does say it’s a very good cheap lunch option). Also, all the asian noodle options are very«whitewashed» and bland.

BEWARE!!! Ate at the place for the first time and it was my last! I ordered the pot stickers which included a small salad. My salad had mold on it. I reported this to the regional manager who apologized and offered compensation for the issue, never got this said compensation or heard from him ever again…

I didn’t have high expectation for this place because the menu is just so weird. You’d think it’s an asian noodle place but they also have different kinds of pasta. Interesting. I ordered the Bangkok Curry — «Sweet coconut curry, broccoli, carrots, red bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, a light portion of rice noodles, served on cabbage with black sesame seeds» with shrimp. Even though the dish is highly americanized the rice noodle is still good. The combo of veggie in my plate gives it lots of texture that I loved. Yum and I’ll probs come back to try their pasta/comfy food dishes!

Place used to be good. Was a quick reliable stop after health club or movie. Today slow dirty and crew looked bothered by being busy. What a disappointment.

Never again. I don’t know if it was because it was lunch hour or what but I waited 30minutes for our food which I have never done. Almost every table was dirty with dishes, which gave no option of where to sit. Even the outside was filthy with trash flying off the table onto the sidewalk. When our food came out I was missing my side Cesar salad. That never made it so I requested a refund was offered a cookie or treat. I wanted a refund but the guy was having difficulty working the cash register so I took the treat. This experience showed a lack of organization. I would try again but I don’t have the patience to endure anything like that again. Poor guy beside us got his food and by the time he was complete they then brought out his son food.

Friendly service, always helpful and with a smile. Good is great, quick, and fresh. Great place all around.

I’m giving the Noodles and Co in Evanston specifically a 1 star because of the service. I have been there multiple times and their food is fine. I wouldn’t say it was lower quality than anywhere else. However, this time I called ahead of time to place my order as I was in a bit of a rush. When I went to pick up my order, I noticed there was a sign at the far left register specially for order pick ups that had already been placed over the phone or online. I went over to that register and was waiting when one of the employees told me in a less than pleasant tone that I had to stand in line even though I could see my order on the back counter. I understand that they were short staffed and only one register was open at the time. However, the way it was explained to me was rude. That’s not all. After I got to the front of the line and finally got my order, another customer who I assume had also placed an order for pick up walks up the left hand register and says she’s there to pick up an order. No one tells her to wait in line. Instead, they stop serving customers in the line, find her order and hand her the bag. She proceeds to pay and leave. She was in the exact same situation as I was. However we were treated in very different ways. This is absolutely unacceptable and extremely uncalled for. I have zero respect for a company that finds this sort of behavior acceptable among their employees.

Rude service and my chicken soup was the smallest amount of chicken soup I’ve ever seen. 1.5 pieces of chicken and 7 noodles. If it was not so in my face I would never have even thought to count but it was just stupid how little there was. This soup did not even fill half of the cup it was served to me in. For $ 5? Give me a break. I am a dumb freak for not getting the extremely huge chicken soup from Gigio’s for the same price — that one is loaded with chicken, veggies galore and more noodles than I’ve ever felt the need to count. Noodles and Co sucks.

I’m not sure which was saltier, the beef stroganoff or the rude woman with the poor attitude that failed to greet me with a smile. They both were hard to chew.

The workers are so nice. The staff and location are excellent. No one rolled eyes at me when I asked for it not spicy so that’s a win for me :)

The food is homey and tastes healthy, in comparison to other Noodle chains. It’s not too expensive, but the«small» is pretty small. I like the mood of Noodles and Company as well. It’s relaxing and chill– a perfect place for a simple lunch. I recommend adding a protein to make your meal a bit more filling. It’s just okay~nothing too fancy.

Good quick place to eat. However my ONLY problem is I think the menu is too small! Other than that I cannot complain about anything else. They are not expensive and have a very convenient location. Definitely work checking out.

I want exactly expecting authentic pad thai, but the portion was very small and the carrot sticks(which comprised about 20% of the volume of the dish) were HUGE. too big to eat. and I was left with a bowl full of carrots… very disappointing. chef’s tip: shred the carrots and use about 75% fewer.

Noodles & Co is one of my favorite chain restaurants. It’s got partial waiter service, where you order at the counter, and then someone brings your food out to you, and you don’t need to clear your table, but it’s still super casual. As the name implies, the entrees are almost all noodle-based, although there are a couple salads, sandwiches, and soups on the menu as well. Most of their menu is static, but some of the noodle and salad dishes rotate out seasonally. I’m a big fan of the truffle mac(seasonal), which is mac and cheese with truffle salt, and the Wisconsin mac and cheese(static), which has three different cheeses. The staff here are polite and friendly, and the dining area is clean. Best of all, they always have Sriracha sauce to cover your food with! If you sign up for their mailing list or like them on Facebook, they’ll periodically send you coupons for free food(usually when they’re coming out with new seasonal dishes).

I’ve been coming to this location for years, like 10 years. Had a different experience than I’ve ever had today. Usually it’s the exact same. Order food, drink and a rice Krispy(always fine). We sneak the rice Krispy into the theater(shhhhhhh). So it’s always the same. Today like I said was different. They were very busy, with some kind of party in the back. No big deal. Ordered food, got a glass of wine, sat outside. My cousin and sister ordered pad Thai. They both said it was horribly(yep, that word) bland and the chicken was rubbery. Well, being an adult I went up to the counter and asked if we could get more sauce and perhaps some siracha. The guy working there took the food back to the kitchen and said he’d bring it back out. They did, the food was untouched but they gave us some sauce on the side, which worked out better. It instantly made the food better, however the chicken was still rubbery. An employee who was sitting by us having a break walked in and walked back out to us with extra shrimp(she thought she overheard we were having bad shrimp) and free noodle bowl coupons. She wasn’t even on the clock! So– pros– Good customer service Rice Krispy treats There was a problem– the wine glasses were filthy. Not dirty, they had been through the wash, but they were really spotty. Sorry it’s a pet peeve of mine– especially since I paid $ 6 for a small glass. The customer service is great though!!!

Really great experience. Fast service, delicious food, and overall a clean place. The Bangkok curry has a minor spicy flavor, fair warning. Definitely will be back again.

I was here on Sunday night with a BOGO coupon(from Big Bite Night!). I ordered the Japanese pan fried noodles with steak, and my friend had the Thai hot pot. Honestly, her food looked significantly better than mine — I would definitely order that next time. I don’t think I’d order my noodles again, because they were a little too dry and were covered in raw bean sprouts. I like bean sprouts cooked, but I never eat the raw ones, so it was a little off-putting. Service was friendly and they were very good about clearing our items away as we finished them, and they didn’t seem to mind that we sat around for about an hour after we finished. Overall, I really only go to Noodles & Co. when I have a BOGO coupon, because I just don’t think that the noodles are worth the price otherwise.

Chain as a whole — meh. Okay concept for quick lunch but for the price to portion/quality ratio, I’d probably just go to Panera for a bit more consistency and better value. Wouldn’t go out of my way to eat it but would out of convenience. I usually go for the penne rosa or japanese pan noodles with chicken, haven’t come here enough to bother being adventurous. This particular location is probably a tad better than the other ones I’ve eaten at. Sometimes there’s no other quick meal near by and I’d go eat at a Noodle’s & Co, and I’ve noticed a lot of inconsistencies at other locations nationwide, but this one is pretty dependable.
