Third Eye Mediation provides 3rd party, impartial mediation services to families, businesses, landlords and tenants and others who find themselves in disputes but want to avoid litigation.
Dr. David Steiner is a certified mediator with the Center for Conflict Resolution, Chicago. He mediates cases in all the local courthouses and in private practice. While his office is in Evanston, mediations can take place anywhere in the greater Chicagoland area.
Mediation is less time consuming, less costly and creates solutions that tend to be much more durable because they originate with the disputants. Feel free to call Dr. Steiner for your free phone consultation.
History
Established in 2014.
Dr. David J. Steiner became a certified mediator in Chicago after years of working in restorative justice and peace education. He is trained in Divorce mediation at Northwestern University and at the Center for Conflict Resolution, Chicago.
Conflict may be inevitable. What we do with conflict — how we confront it — dictates our future. Mediation allows disputants to control the outcomes. It can be less expensive and time consuming than litigation, and the results are usually more durable.
Third Eye Mediation is dedicated to the proposition that not all conflicts need to be resolved by external third parties, but, rather, that a «third eye,» a neutral, trained professional, can help facilitate long-lasting, equitable, just and ethical solutions for disputants in less time and at significantly lower costs than litigation.
