Pretty much your run of the mill Cracker Barrel. 3 stars for food as decent as any other location I’ve eaten at, but not really anything else«remarkable» as far as service goes.

Eggs in the basket is just amazing! And their coffee is great as well as most servers.

Well it was an out of the ordinary Thanksgiving for our family this year. My grandma passed away about two weeks prior so we didn’t feel like cooking this year. Eight of us 5 adults three children went to one of our favorite restaurants Cracker Barrel. I love this restaurant it’s seriously my favorite place to eat, so I was excited to go! Long story short it’s not in my nature to be mean, rude, or hostile. But, everything from start to finish was wrong with only my order at the table. I felt bad for the server and she did her best to correct every mistake she made, but it was a Murphy’s Law type of deal I think. We still had fun, it was a holiday they were busy can’t hit a home run every time. The only thing I wished was since I had nothing go right at all that a manager would have stepped into help or at least came out and apologized? Here is what went wrong for the record. I asked for a water to drink never received it until our order got to the table. Then I got it after food was passed out. So about 20 minutes after I sat down and was greeted. I ordered the thanksgiving meal with mashed potatoes, corn, dressing, and an extra side of hash brown casserole on the side. Also a Togo thanksgiving meal. My extra side was put on someone else’s plate. My order wasn’t made, and my Togo came out to the table. After another 10 mins my food came out no dressing. The rest of the table needed refills so I waited for that then asked for my dressing. My food was cold by the time I got my dressing so I got a Togo box to take it home and heat it up later. I got the chocolate chip pecan pie for my dessert, it was Phenomenal! We went out side on the rockers and talked for a few minutes before we left! I enjoy all the seating and shopping I can do here! They had great deals for Christmas toys too! I got half of my Christmas shopping done!

Waitress was friendly and service was good, not exceptional. Food is also only good. Lemonade was exceptional, though my glass stayed empty far too often. I ate at this location on a Wednesday night. It was less than half full and experienced no wait to be seated. Meal arrived fairly quick after ordering. Receiving the check took too long. The pricing is very good for the food I received. I would give this location 3.5 stars, if Unilocal allowed.

Well this Cracker Barrel follows the model and standard of all cracker barrels quite well :) the staff is friendly, food is tasty but still to my opinion a bit overpriced, but I go anyway :) there’s country music playing, and all the goods in the country store are as expected a mix of fun things, knick knacks, sweets, music, and a lot of cookie cutter country décor, but still inviting as usual :)

First time ever going to Cracker Barrel. Went in around 9am and they were accommodating enough to serve me a Reuben off the lunch menu. I’m a huge Reuben fan and this was one of the better ones I’ve had. The fries weren’t good but the sandwich was good enough that I didn’t mind.

If you’re staying in one of the hotels near Sweetwater Event Center, then your closest group breakfast kind of place is this Cracker Barrel. I’ve been to a handful, and this one does breakfast for large groups as well as any, in our case 22 people! Not only was it the morning after my son’s wedding reception, but also my birthday, the first I’ve celebrated with extended family in at least twenty years. Mom not only put a musical candle on my blueberry muffin, and they sang to me, and all that sort of embarrassing stuff. Thanks CB, for putting up with us, and keeping the coffee flowing.

This was disgusting. Went here with a friend because she said it was great. Very disappointed. Biscuits were sour and the gravy was full of flour and tasteless. Barfff

So I’ve been to various crackle barrels as I travel often. When out I’m always solo dining so I generally get seated very quickly. At this location I waited over 30mins at breakfast time. Not horrible but not great either. The staff was very friendly and my coffee cup was never empty and had good conversion with the waitress, however the meal was meh and very clearly was rushed. I ordered one of their breakfast meals that included eggs to order choice of breakfast meat and pancakes to order. So I went with scrambled eggs with American cheese, sausage patties and strawberry pancakes. The eggs were hardly scrambled and the cheese was placed on the plate and the omelet looking eggs where placed on top of the cheese which was only partiality melted. No flavor at all. Sausage patties were Luke warm, same with the pancakes. The butter wouldn’t even melt while on the pancakes. All in all I’ve come to expect better from this chain. Had it not been for the friendly staff I’d have rated this visit a one.

What is there not to love about Cracker Barrel… good home cooked food. It is a chain that is mainly in the Midwest and southern states. I always miss it when we travel west to visit my daughter. the pancakes are to die for… delish! I always get the smokehouse breakfast, which is eggs, bacon, grits, gravy, and biscuits. Comfort food at its best!

I don’t know why people don’t like CB! I am a fan. Maybe I am just an old soul or like hanging with the old folks. I love the atmosphere and the wood burning fireplace was perfect on this cold Tuesday during the lunch hour. My toughest choice was deciding to get breakfast or lunch/dinner. In the end I went with a lunch entrée option. I couldn’t resist the meatloaf. It was calling to me along with the 3 sides and buttermilk biscuits. My 3 sides consisted of the hash brown casserole, mac n cheese and country green beans. Everything was perfect! The green beans really are country green beans. If you don’t know what that means think opposite of canned. These had flavor and soul. They were on point. The hash brown casserole was good but nothing to brag about. My favorite of the 3 was the Mac n cheese. I could’ve lived in that. I will say no more as my mouth is watering thinking about it. The meatloaf was great and seasoned well also. The buttermilk biscuits rounded out this large meal and they did not disappoint. I don’t visit CB often but when I do I’m glad I did.

We stopped in late one Friday after a full day of traveling. We were seated by a hostess who tossed our menus on the table and mumbled the directions to the restrooms after I asked. It took a while for our server to come to the table. We ordered and waited. I had a ham slice on the pick your own meat menu. It was extremely salty and tough. The green beans were edible. I also ordered a salad, which didn’t come until she checked on our table at the end of our meal. After she brought it out, I finally got her attention and asked why my ranch had chunks in it. She brought blue cheese dressing. I decided not to have it replaced, as we were ready to go. She did not pre-bus the tables, even though I had stacked plates and other items. We checked out the store around 8:30 and were wondering when they closed, as there were a lot of employees standing around doing nothing. We have a CB in our area, and I doubt I will ever return to one again.

Standard CB experience. No complaints. Happy with server and service! It is convenient to most hotels in area and within walking distance. I’d go here again!

I used to go there. But since I found out that it was a big supporter of the Obama régime, I abruptly stopped going there. I will never go back again! If I could, I would not give ANY stars! Mrs. J. E.

A good dinner stop during our long road trip. The server thought they were out of a side, but after double-checking, he came through with sweet potatoes for my wife. It’s a chain… I expected good service and consistency for a fair price, and that’s what we got.

I really like the food and I want to like the atmosphere, but I just can’t because the service is always slow and inattentive. For a «country time» feeling, I always feel like I am an inconvenience to the majority the staff. It is a shame because the majority of food really is good.

This Cracker Barrel is conveniently located by a few of the hotels and motels. There aren’t many other breakfast places otherwise unless you drive a few blocks down. The ambiance remains country-like and service always has a Southern hospitality ring to it. You can shop before or after your meal but there is something for everyone in their store. The eggs are a small portion but it should be enough. It’s already 2 eggs! Nothing beats the frosted apple ciders in the mugs. Maybe coffee does on certain insomniac nights. Pancakes are always extra sweet especially when you add a topping. You might end up with a toothache or two. Their receipts are always itemized if that is important.

When i visit a Cracker Barrel I do it for two reasons, the first is to get full, second is to enjoy«downhome» cooking. Cracker Barrel does well on both, but not very well at keeping the pounds off. From hashbrown casserole to meatloaf dinner, you will find hearty almost like moms cooking food to enjoy. The service is always pretty good and the manager even pops by to see if you are doing ok and how was your day if you look like you arent enjoying your meal, which i find awesome-o. If after your belly is full and you want to spend some more of that hard earned cash then visit the country store where you can rock your worries away in one of their wonderful rocking chairs or if you prefer to enjoy a yummy chocolate bar you can do that as well. I really like the charm of Cracker Barrel and really enjoy the belly busting food they serve. They only get 3 stars from me because the food isnt spectacular and the service isnt stellar, but it is what it is and you will be content with the food and happy with the service.

Biscuits-Biscuits-White People Wow — It has been such a long time since I’ve been here I almost forgot about the place. Until the appeared in the news for discrimination against the gays, the black, and giving money to Tom DeLay. I’m not sure if you have been here lately but it is HILLBILLY/REDNECK mixed with a bit of the white middle class. I ate in a city with a census of 97% white peeps, but i was so amazed to see the clientele of this joint. There couldn’t have been a minority in a 15mile radius .it was so ridic. …But.you have to give them props for those biscuits !!!
