Donut Bank Bakery and Coffee Shop

Every time I go to a donut bank they’re out of blueberry donuts, so if you like those make sure to order ahead or come early. They have this chocolate muffin with mini chocolate chips and cream cheese in the middle, can’t remember the name, but you’d recognize it. The donut holes are great

The only reason this place doesn’t have 100 reviews with 5 stars each is because all of you Evansville residents don’t know how good you’ve got it! I grew up eating these delicious donuts and pastries 1 – 2 times each week, then moved away and finally realized how amazing they are. You can’t find good donuts and pastries like this everywhere. It’s more the exception than the rule. Perfectly balanced, light and chewy dough for these wonderful things is the star here — not weird combinations of thick icing and different toppings. Personal favs are the cinnamon roll, cherry danish, kettle danish, pecan crispie, and the May/​Mothers day special of a «rosebud» (basically a cinnamon roll with strawberry instead of cinnamon, cut to look kinda like a flower)! I make at least one stop here every time I’m back in town.
