The pizza was Great but the people are not friendly at all. I do have to say I Love the games and TVs they have set up but but they really need smiley face with a friendly greeting…

I have gone there about 5 times or so. I think that the pizza is pretty good. The only problem is the attitude of the daytime manager. I don’t like giving negative reviews but we had noticed the attitude and had kind of had a good laugh about it until this last time. If you are a accepted part of the«club»(meaning that you are a appreciated regular), all is good. If you are not, the intended or unintended body language really makes you feel not welcome. The last time we were there, it was towards the end of the lunch time crowd and when everybody left but us she cranked the jukebox up so loud that we couldn’t even talk to each other at the table. This is not an exaggeration, this was proved by the fact that friends of hers came in a couple songs later and she immediately turned it down because she was having trouble talking to them. It doesn’t matter how good your food is if the service makes you feel uncomfortable, you choose not to go back. I hope that things get turned around, but for now…

I honestly can’t think of anything wrong with this place — they have an excellent pizza lunch buffet, a completely chill atmosphere, and $ 1 bottled beers all day every day. The owner is incredibly cool, as is the daytime manager(and most of the employees, now that I’m thinking about it…) My only reason for 4 stars is that it isn’t gourmet food by any stretch of the imagination. Not that that’s a bad thing. I mean $ 1 beer? Where else are you gonna find that every day of the week? Highland Pizza: do it.
