This hotel is very close to the airport, should you find yourself in Evansville, IN. It’s a basic Marriott. It looks like it may be ungoing some renovations, but they are definitely unfinished, and there are some areas that could use more. The staff is very helpful. And friendly. Everyone greets you and will help you locate a place to eat. The concierge lounge is fine. The breakfast is typical here, but nothing to write home about. Yogurt, cereal, fruit… I wish it were more subtantial. ROom service breakfast is OK. However, I ordered an egg white omelet to get something lighter, and it was more cheese than anything else. Yikes. Another thing I wish Marriott had0 Coke products. I just don’t like Pepsi.

Super nice staff — but my God, this hotel has seen better days.

My niece just had her wedding reception with 370 friends and family in attendance at the Marriott this past weekend. Yep, it was pain on my brothers wallet to throw that big shin-dig, but it was quite the party! The ballroom was the perfect size and the service was attentive, friendly and given with an «I care» attitude. It must be a real skill to serve 370 people in 20 minutes, and with that in mind, I thought it was a really good meal. I did not have a room at the hotel, but heard they were decent rooms.
