Welcome to 5th Wheel Place, recreational vehicle dealer for Mobile Suites by Double Tree RV, HitchHiker Discover America and HitchHiker II by Nu-​Wa, SunnyBrook by SunnyBrook RV, and Shadow Cruiser lightweight and affordable towables. 5th Wheel Place is one of the oldest dealers of RVs, Motor homes, Travel Trailers in the Northwest. Kevin Keppel bought 5th Wheel from the original owners after starting and running a successful RV dealership in Hawaii.

We have purchased 4 RVs here over the years and consigned one. Great experiences with all. These guys go out of their way to make sure you get quality product before you leave… And if there is an issue/​problem they make it right. Very friendly staff, fun to just stop by and say hi sometimes as my wife and I like to «shop» RVs even when we are not in the market. 5th wheel lets us look around unmolested as much as we like and no pressure. Love it there.

Stood in the parking lot for about 15 minutes and not one person greeted me or said a word. I had what looked like 2 sales people walk right by and one guy asian guy just looking at me awkwardly. I ended up going across the street and spent my 20k happily and hitched up and rolled off with a brand new trailer 20 mins after leaving this place. Just a note to management there are occasional people who need to buy a travel trailer asap and for times like this you missed out big time because of your lack of customer service.

Had the displeasure of working with a gentleman named Kevin. He has the classic salesman demeanor to him:
1. talks so fast its as if he is auctioning something
2. interrupts every sentence you try to spit out
3. changes the subject from what you ask
4. treats you like gold one minute then as if you’re lucky to have his time the next
5. talks in circles
NEVER going back. Yes, he did assist me with my consignment, but he then tried to rip me off for the difference of what money I had received and what was owed to me. When I finally blew up about being jerked around and refused to get off the phone til it got fixed, he put the manager, Jeff on the line. We’ll see how long it takes Jeff to send me the money that is owed to me. I do have a legal contract in hand, of course, so I am not afraid to post a bad review before finding out this will drag out.

I returned my rental RV on July 8th, it is now August 4th and I have yet to hear back about my $ 1000 safety deposit return. I emailed them last week with no response. They say ~10 days for the return, it’s been nearly a month, which is unacceptable.
Will update this review when (if) I hear back from them.
*Update* I heard back from them today, and they are returning $ 900 of my deposit today. Not sure what happened to the $ 100 as the RV was thoroughly cleaned before return with no damage, but I’m not going to bother with it.

I was really impressed with the 5th Wheel Place in terms of low pressure sales and follow through from the service department when required.
We bought a new travel trailer and they were extremely helpful with warranty service requests even two months later when a seat cushion needed repair. Pat and Kevin the Owners have been wonderful to work with and I would recommend these guys without hesitation!

When my wife and I decided we wanted to make RV life a full-​time gig, this is the place we went to. We had stopped at another place down the road from them (Kirkland RV), but they promptly turned their nose up at us because we’re a financially recovering family… their loss. Kevin and the gang have been quite helpful during the buying process, and honestly if it wasn’t for them, we’d probably be in a junker right now.
Now, 5th Wheel has gone through more than their fair share of issues with their service department. The service manager at the time made habit of putting off and/​or simply forgetting service calls, especially where items requiring service were their responsibility to fix. However, and much to my pleasure and to that of others, I’m sure, Wheel has since rectified the problem, and has more than gone out of their way to make things right and make all the necessary fixes.
Although we no longer own the travel trailer, as we sold it near of the end of July, after all the issues with the service department were ironed out and rectified, 5th Wheel is top notch when it comes to RV rental or purchase. They were just as helpful and instrumental at helping with our selling the travel trailer as they were in our purchasing it.
Well done, guys. If we ever buy an RV again, we’ll be talking to you guys first!
