I am a stylist, a wife, and a mother of three beautiful children. I have been doing hair for 24 years. I love it! It gets me up every morning. I have been the proud owner of After Image since it opened in 2007. Having the freedom to be creative and to create my own unique style. I really enjoy connecting with my clients, who are as unique as their hair styles.

I have very straight, fine hair and it has been difficult for me to find a stylist who can get my hair to look good on a consistent basis. About 1−½ years ago, I called After Image because it was in my neighborhood. After explaining my issues, the person answering the phone recommended Carrie Kirksey. She has been GREAT! I love my hair EVERY time. When I want a change, she comes up with great ideas. I am always getting compliments on my hair. I totally trust Carrie to do whatever she thinks would work for me, because it always does. They moved out of my neighborhood a few months ago, and are now just a half a block from my office! The salon is clean, tastefully decorated, and everyone is friendly and professional.

This salon is amazing! Everyone is super nice. Moving up from Los Angeles, I was desperate to find an awesome stylist who uses Hot Heads hair extensions (which I’m my option are the very best). I saw Kim, the owner of the salon, she did an incredible job reinventing my color and adding the extensions in! I feel and look like a million bucks now! Thank you After Imaging Styling!

I just had my hair done by Joey and I gotta say I LOVE IT!!! He is very professional and knows his stuff. The salon is super cute. It is in a small area of Everett (Lowell) The prices are more than reasonable too,
I am a hairstylist myself but work alone and fell it very important to be pampered just like everyone else. I did not know him before this so I am very unbiased in my opinion. I am having a lot of fun playing with my new style. Thank you so much.

This Salon is a diamond in Everett — when you walk in you’re transported into a trendy boutique. They have done an amazing job of creating the perfect atomsphere, that is a blend of upscale and homey… it’s a place for everyone.
The fully stocked coffee bar, complete with chocolate covered coffee beans, flavored creamers and biscotti, is not to be missed.

I can’t say enough good things about After Image Salon. Kim has been cutting my hair for 20 years and both of my kids have never had anyone else cut their hair. That right there is saying a lot! I wouldn’t stick with someone if they weren’t doing a consistenly wonderful job-​and Kim surely does!
We always get great cuts-​and we all have very different hair! Mine is super fine, my daughter’s is super (SUPER!) thick and my son’s is, well boy hair :) Kim knows exactly what to do to make us look great everytime.
The salon is absolutely gorgeous. Very clean and beautifully decorated. It’s in a very up and coming area of Everett and is super easy to find.
I can’t imagine having my hair done anywhere else and would recommend that everyone give After Image a try. You won’t be disappointed!
