Albright Family Dental

I’m attempting to allocate a dentist for necessary work on molars, incisors, etc, but like many people, my budget is very constrained, and I am disabled. I depend on DSHS/​other support programs for Medical/​Dental support.
So I’m looking for a Dentist that will take DSHS coverage. When I read about this dentist, they listed these coupons as accepted under ‘Brands’. However, upon attempting to schedule an appointment, I was informed that that only applied to children. This needs to be reflected on the information here, so more people in my position don’t waste their time.

I just took my stepdaughter here as I have done with my two boys. She has never liked the dentist has always been terrified of going but after her first visit here she can’t wait to go back! Thank you for everything you do! This experience truly made me happy I brought my step daughter into Albright!

Despite the complaining I’m about to do here, the hygenist here, Lynn, is phenomenal. Best hygenist I’ve ever had by a wide margin. Super friendly, does her job well, and very professional. Always made me feel at ease. I couldn’t recommend her enough. I dealt with the mediocre front office staff, the higher prices, and the questionable dental work because I hadn’t had such a good experience with a hygenist before.
Unfortunately, the costs have simply outweighed the benefits at this point. I could give a laundry list of examples, but basically I can’t get any sort of work done here without at least 30 minutes on the phone working things out with my insurance company, and I know it’s not the insurance company’s fault, because I’ve had plenty of other providers (dental or otherwise) bill this same insurance company with no problem, and I’ve been charged hundreds of dollars for work that either needed to be re-​done or needed something else done. It’s the equivalent of taking your car to a mechanic, the mechanic blows your engine while working on it, and charges you for his time anyway. I simply can’t afford the incompetence from the billing, scheduling, and dental care anymore.
My advice would be to stay away from this place unless you’re only getting preventative care and cleaning. This is a pretty poorly-​run facility all-​around and not worth your time.

This place has really really weird «rules» is the only word I can think of calling them. First off I am not a patient here but I took a patient here to get some work done. The person I took here called me and said I had to come in a day before and sign paperwork to bring her here. That’s fine but the way they did it was super lame. They called her 30 minutes before they closed and told me I had to be here. And then they argued and said they called me and told me that which wasn’t true. So I came in the next day and got the paperwork filled out. Then they say by the way you can’t leave the building while the patient is getting the work done. I asked how long it was going to be they said a hour or so. That’s ok not that long. The day of the surgery I come here and they say no it is going to be 3 or so hours!!! I am so mad!!! I asked if I can leave to get food and they said only if you give us your phone so we know you will come back, ok whatever. All in all that wasn’t that bad. What made this place horrible is the service and the way they operate. When I got here this morning at 10 two teenage girls where screaming and running around. Turns out they are the front desks kids! She yells at them and they stop. Then later two front desk people start talking loudly about how they messed up scheduling patients and now they have to call everyone and see what times they choose to come in next. You can tell the patients are upset by how the front desk people are talking. I am not a patient here and I will never be. This place is weird and is run by people that don’t know what they are doing. Maybe the work is good but I don’t know and I will never know!

I am only leaving one star because I have to. I have been coming to this dentist for over three years. I went in for my regular cleaning and they told me that I needed to have a filling put in. I scheduled my appointment and the gal asked me if I wanted to just pay for my filling in advance since I was already paying for my cleaning and I agreed that it would be easier. After paying in full she let me know that I was all set, all I would need to do is come back the following week for the appointment. That was two months ago. Yesterday I got a past due notice in the mail for $ 106.50. I called the office and was informed that they didn’t charge me the full amount at the time of payment. I tried to explain that you cannot say the cost is one amount, perform the service, then charge me more after when I cannot simply return the filling. The woman I spoke to did not really seem to care at all. After reading other reviews, it seems like holding their patients credit hostage is a general practice for them. Don’t go there, I won’t be returning and I’ve told everyone else I know not to either.

My family has been going to Albright Family Dental for about 4 years now. There have been many changes to this office including the Dentist’s. Initially it was a wonderful dental office with good service and very friendly staff including the reception area but over time it has left us wondering what really is going on. In the past six months we have been unhappy with the services. Recently one of the receptionist came back from an extended leave, she is the most unfriendliest receptionist that I have come across. It doesn’t matter what you are asking of her it always feels like we are a bother instead of a customer. When I have said something to the dental assistants they confirmed they know and are glad they are working in the back with minimal contact. Wow really, that’s concerning.
On one of my appointments I found an individual sleeping in the waiting room which I can understand if you have been waiting for a while. However when I came back for several other appointments this same person was there, eating and sleeping, does not appear to be a patient but more a «guest» of one of the employees.
On a visit earlier this year a temp dentist informed my husband that he need 4 fillings so my husband scheduled an appointment to have these taken care of, come to find out he only had two. Recently my husband went to another dentist and they informed him that these filling weren’t done correctly and needed to have them redone. Not happy at this point at all especially with paying out of pocket costs.
My visit with the temp dentist went differently and left me wondering why my neck/​throat was being massaged and why is the dentist looking into my ears and nose? New type of checkup? During this appointment I was told that I need major dental work done, fillings and crowns. OK scheduled appointments to have this done. Spent almost $ 2000 on dental work within 3 weeks and to start my teeth are hurting non stop now which I didn’t have a problem with before and had to go back several times because of issues with crowns. I paid all of my out of pocket expenses at time of services.
Received a call last week saying I owed money and needed to pay this right away. OK Susie Q how can I owe money when you provided me with the bill at the time of service? Response — it is my responsibility to make sure I pay the correct amount’s I get that but if you show me a bill at the time of service and I pay that amount at the time of service how can I owe you money now weeks after the fact. Doesn’t seem right when you already had the bill ready and confirmed with insurance what is being paid. Also there was a credit on the account where we had been over charged but no one seemed to feel that was important to mention in the time that we have visited this office.
I attempted to speak to the dentist about this but have not had any luck.
So overall my experience has gone to good to let me go find another dentist and hope its better then this.

They are not efficient. They always try to come up with ways to charge you more money. Twice when members of my family have gone somewhere else it didnt cost as much and what Albright wanted to do was not necessary. I would NOT go there again.

This is a rich, white man’s dentist. Its all about how deep your pockets are — choose accordingly.

Albright Family Dental is top notch all the way. They treat you the way you want to be treated, they listen to your desires and concerns and communicate with you. They make you part of the activity. Lynn the hygienist is the best I’ve ever found. She’s thorough, gentle and extremely efficient. It is comforting to know when you have finally found that right place.

My first visit was last week. The entire staff was remarkably chipper and helpful, the offices were beautiful and clean; Dr. Anderson, hygienist Lynn and the young dental assistant (whose name I did not catch) are a great team and completely put me at ease. I was offered a variety of dental care options for future visits, and each one was explained and the pro’s and con’s of each. My long-​overdue deep cleaning was an absolute breeze and the entire staff took pains to accommodate my recent back injury and kept making certain I was comfortable, or could get up and move about frequently. Lovely people, all around. I will definitely be back!

This place is a diamond in the rough! I loathe traveling down everett mall way, but was drawn in by the office’s $ 75 clean, exam, xray, whitening. To my own surprise, I ended my appointment a happy man.
Dr dellisante is great. She’s a great listner and clearly knows her dentistry. I found her to be personable, but also very professional. Lynn, the hygienist, was gentle yet thorough with my cleaning. I have only good things to say about my experience.
As for the negative review posted: It is too bad you feel like ruining a company’s reputation because you were reluctant to read the details of your coupon. I think it would do you good to consider taking responsibility for your lack of due dilligence.

I started off making my appointments at this dental office instead of others due to a coupon for a free, origianlly $ 400 teeth whitening for new clients only. I went through the steps of making my ex ray and cleaning appointments followed by the teeth FIXING procedures. I called today to set up my teeth whitening appointment because it expires ¹²⁄₃₁ And could only be used AFTER all these appointments prier had been applied. As I call, the receptionist proceeds to tell me that their are restrictions on this coupon due to the type of insurance I have and the coupon doesnt apply to me… I just spent $ 500 on my dental appointments up to this day and was planning on spending ANOTHER $ 1000 for my crown… I am so mad that they are refusing this coupon to me NOW after I initially made the appointment for the teeth whitening reason in the first place. The dr’s scheduler just spoke with me on the phone and made up so many excuses along with advising me options of going to OTHER dental facilities for the remainder of my visits (why would she TELL me to go elsewhere?)… After many interruptions on «Candaces» behalf and cutting me off while I was trying to say it isnt HER fault however if your facility is lacking the communication skills to notify my in the first place of the coupon restrictions, Then how am I supposed to be the one to pay for this in the long run? I finally said «I wasnt getting anywhere with this conversation (being cut-​off most the time) and was hanging up». She LAUGHED at me and said «Yeah have a good day». I really dont find anything funny about this AT ALL and am so pissed I may as well go somewhere else as suggested… Too bad my dentist (forget her name, she was female) was one of the kindest dentists Ive ever gone to. Its a shame her scheduler just ruined a future client (for or after my crown procedures)
