Decided to give this place a try and it was a total waste of $ 30. I was still hungry after eating my lasagna because it was 90% just cheese and sauce in a big soupy, rubbery mess. The«salad» consisted of some iceberg lettuce and a slice of tomato. I wish I had just gone to the grocery store and bought a frozen Stouffer’s, which would have tasted better.

My guy took me here for the first time and ordered the House pizza. it was great!!! Read the menu while we were there and seen that they had a seafood pizza! Never had a seafood pizza in my life, but it sounded awesome! I said, next time we come here we have to try that! After a month of yearning, we finally called in an order for the seafood pizza. So worth the wait! Probably, one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! I would like another, right NOW! Also, ordered their Chef salad. my favorite salad ever! They threw in some Greek-ness to it, lol. I don’t think I’d like to order a pizza or salad from anywhere else, now. Their menu is large and in charge! Next, I would like to try the scallop fettucine! :-)) Thanks, Amante!

De-li-cious! I don’t believe in too much cheese, Amante feels the same. Toppings are fresh and plentiful. Pizza has great flavor. Great service from start to finish. A little pricey but totally worth it!

Ordered pizza since we were craving some and wanted to try and new place on a Friday night. We ordered the Siciliano and Italian wings. The pizza is awesome. I love how they just toss on chunks of toppings. The only thing I’ll point out is that I don’t agree that they don’t put cheese on first so when you take a bite, the toppings slide around. Messes up the experience when pizza is done like that… BUT, overall the flavor of the pizza was great! I’d order it again. The wings had some nice flavor as well, but they weren’t as crispy to my liking. Just a little bit more crisp and it would have been spot on. The place is pretty small. Driven by it many times but just never stopped in. It’s actually pretty nice inside for how small it is. I got a mafia vibe out of it lol because when I went in to pick up my order, no one was around and they were all probably in the back somewhere. I noticed they had taps of beers to the side so probably all in the bar? Idk and Idc…(going on a tangent) Delicious pizza nonetheless and would come back.

Put in an online order for pasta veneto and chicken strips and everything arrived hot and on time. Driver was friendly and food was delicious. The pasta had plenty of mushrooms and sausage chunks — I even ate the black olives that I usually pick out! The chicken strips were lightly breaded and moist, just how I like them. Will definitely order again in the future!

This place makes DELICIOUS food! I’ve only ever had the Amante Special pizza and the Spaghetti Veneto but they were so good. I will for sure try more off their menu.

Great Pizza, only complaint I have is that when I walked in on a Sunday at Noon the place reaked so strongly of Marijuana that my family and I wondered if we’d get stoned just sitting there. Pizza was really good though. Imagine That.

I may be addicted to Amante’s. –Awesome wings –Pasta– Halibut Linguine with roasted red pepper cream sauce is amazing(refer to addiction mentioned above) –Best calzone I’ve ever had. I stopped ordering calzones years ago because I don’t think I’ve ever had a good one. Amante’s are awesome. The bread is so soft and the calzone is huge. –Very good customer service. We’ve ordered Amante’s delivery probably 50 times over the past 4 – 5 years. The only time I’ve ever been disappointed is when they’re closed.

The calzones are amazing, stuffed with delicious ingredients and encased in thick, crisp crust. If you can handle the extra carbs, the cheesy bread makes a great starter.

Horrible. I ordered the eggplant lovers pizza and can’t even eat it. The cheese falls of the wet crust and the eggplant is literally soaked in oil. It was also barely warm when it got here. Never again, what a waste of money!

I am a pizza fiend. Having said that, I am used to disappointment with restaurant pizza most of the time. I moved to the area recently and actively sought out a new haunt that could deliver my pizza fix in fine form. Amante’s pizza blew me away! I’ve had the Amante’s Special and the Sicilian so far and look forward to trying more. Both are fantastic, and there are a host of other specialty options to explore. It’s a great menu. The ratio of the toppings on the pizzas is perfect to maximize the flavors of them all. The sauce is tasty and the perfect consistency — not too pasty or thin. The crust, while technically the foundational layer, was the figurative cherry on top. It is rustic, authentic, and has the perfect finish and chew. It’s everything that a pizza crust should be. The prices are higher than the national chains, but you definitely get what you pay for. It is worth every penny and a tip!

Ok my friends kept telling me how great this was so of course I had to try it. Well boy oh boy were they right! We had an extra large pizza– half Amante Special half Sicilian. I loved them both!!! I actually want to build a pizza with their roasted garlic because it was so tasty. It was like soft butter. I noticed the had a ton of pizzas to choose from. They will do half and half pizzas even with different sauces. The server was so friendly and nice. I can’t wait to go back.

I loved their food tonight. We went here for my birthday dinner and I was very happy and will bring friends for lunch dates. The food is fresh and tasty and the best Italian restaurant I have been to. great service as well.

Until recently this was the go to place for proper pizza. The pie was always grand and the service consistent and above all… reliable. It WAS my favorite place, It had actually become a bit of a home coming ritual after work trips. Amantes was one of the things I wanted right off the plane. Recently, the girlfriend and I stopped in for a sandwich… we took it home and split it… and were both sick for nearly two days. Things happen, I get it, but I can never again trust Amantes pizza.

I thought I’d write up a VERY detailed review(including photos I will add once I post this) since I have never done a food review, my kids were gone for the night so I had free time lol! Hope this is helpful! My overall impression AKA the short version~ I think it could be better normally but since it was so late I may have gotten older food which affected the taste-but it was still ok! In the end it was good enough that I will likely try it again to see if it’s better, w/the kids next time… just during busier times so it’s fresh. The friendly service alone was refreshing enough to make me inclined to try this place again, I am getting SO sick of horrible customer service that seems to be the norm these days(god I sound old lol… I’m in my early 30’s~maybe I’m just old fashioned?!) that I really appreciate a good experience when I have it and want to reward it if possible. I will try to update my review if I’m able to score it better next time! The details(if you’d like a more in depth review) are broken into sections :) Ordering/delivery: I called in an order on 5⁄11. A nice girl who I thought said her name was Krista(until I saw the receipt, whoops! It says Khrystelle) took my call just under an hour before closing, and when I asked if it was too late for delivery she didn’t hesitate before cheerfully telling me it wasn’t-I appreciated not being made to feel like an inconvenience though I know end of the night customers can sometimes be less than welcome lol. She was super friendly and when I said I’d never eaten there and was debating between items on the menu, she helped me pick something before I even got the words out to ask her! She let me know her personal favorites and even discussed salad dressings w/me without needing prompting either~including our mutual distaste of artificial/chemical tasting ranch dressing :) I decided to go with something basic since it was a new place, and chose spaghetti w/meat sauce and a side salad.(Was $ 9.95 and comes w/garlic bread & soup or salad) I chose the creamy Italian & ranch dressings(separately of course) so I could try both. She said it would be here within 45 minutes but it arrived sooner(I didn’t check how early exactly but I think it took about 30 – 35 mins?) which was nice as I hadn’t eaten in about 30 hours lol. The delivery boy(didn’t get his name) was nice as well. I was told when ordering since my order was under $ 15(she said it was $ 13.74 after the .75 charge for the side of ranch) I could add more and get free delivery or add a $ 2 delivery charge, which I chose because I couldn’t think of anything else I needed(in retrospect probably unwise lol!) so I got 13.74 plus a few bucks for a tip ready but when he arrived it was $ 13.93. Now .19 is not a huge deal, but it was a bit annoying to have to go to the kitchen to grab my wallet to correct that(so as not to short change his tip) I guess the $ 2 delivery charge is also taxed so it changed the total? Oh well. It would’ve been nice for them to include a fork and napkin w/the order but since I recently moved I had some extra plastic utensils lying around to use until I un-boxed my own stuff :) I loved the cardboard outer box-styrofoam ones are just awful for the environment! Good job Amante! The food: The spaghetti was just way overcooked(sort of soggy noodles-and I normally like mine more cooked then most people. Al dente is a bit hard, I like them just past that) and there was about an inch of watery/oily stuff at the bottom I had to drain into a nearby cup before I could eat it. However, once I did it wasn’t bad. The smell actually reminded me of my grandma’s sauce due to the green peppers used in it which was nice to experience as she passed away 2 years ago. It could do with more flavor and the mozzarella on top didn’t really melt which was kinda odd(added a rubbery texture) but it was pretty good and not canned tasting. Had the noodles been fresher/cooked properly I think it would’ve been better~overall a 3.8 of 5. The garlic bread was good but a bit too soft, maybe they don’t toast it?(I like softer/not really crunchy french bread though, so… not a big problem to me) it had good flavor and I’d give it an overall score of 4.5 of 5. Salad(with extra cucumber as requested, yay!) was good however the black olives listed in the ingredients, and that I was really looking forward to weren’t in there. The dressings: ranch as promised wasn’t chemical laden(she said it is made in house as is the spaghetti sauce and creamy Italian) but I’m sad to say it was pretty bland. I’d still choose it over the crappy ranch cups that come with chain pizza place’s salads though! The creamy Italian was pretty good, but not creamy at all, seemed like regular(maybe there was a mix up and this is the house kind?) I enjoyed that more than the ranch, it was very tart & tangy :) I’d give the side salad a 4 of 5 due to missing olives, otherwise a 5 w/Italian and a 4.5 w/ranch. That about sums it up!

I have gotten food here many times now. Their chicken caesar is good, might be a bit too much dressing for some people though. The tortellini special is delicious. One note on the ‘low carb addict’ dish, it comes with garlic bread — lol Someone needs to let them know that bread does not fit the mold for a low carb dish. The food is good and the customer service is exceptional, both for delivery and in the restaurant. It might be nice to see them drop the portion sizes and offer combo meals too. For those that are looking to try out a few different dishes at one shot.

The BEST pizza. Ordered the breadsticks and Caesar salad as well. Everything was amazing. I found this place on Unilocal and couldn’t decide if I wanted this or another pizza place down the street. I’m so glad I chose this GEM. 100% the place to be. Great service as well. Will be coming back next time I come up this way.
