I came here to get my hair cut short after having long hair for a long time. Fawn was my stylist and she was very attentive to what I wanted. I got an A symmetric bob and I couldn’t have been happier! I’ve gone back several times for more haircuts and styling. Fawn also dyed (foil? not sure of the term) my hair purple and it was a hit! I highly recommend this place for your hair needs!

I had a great facial this afternoon with Barbie. She integrated essential oils into my facial, gave a great 10 – 15 min facial massage and while my mask was on, asked if I wanted a foot, hand or scalp massage! Really relaxing and a great overall experience.

Loving my cut and balayage by Fawn. We chopped off a little over 4 inches and added some more blonde.

Worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten. The girl who did it was really awkward and slow. What should have been maybe a 45 min endeavor took well over an hour. The «massage» was weak and she just globbed on the nail polish. Then I felt really rushed out of there and my nails were not dry, so of course they smudged. Very disappointed. Glad it was just a groupon and I did not pay the full price.

So I haven’t been in yet actually, but I am moving the stars up because the manager contacted me finally and told me they had an issue with their email system and hadn’t been receiving any bookings via their online system. Hopefully I can get in this week and give five stars!

This was my first visit to Bella Dolche and I left a happy customer (with a second appointment in the books)!
The front desk person was very friendly and I was offered a drink as soon as I was checked in. The waiting room doesn’t have much seating; there was one chair and a small loveseat, which were both taken. I perched awkwardly on a barstool that I think may be mostly for decoration, but thankfully I was taken back for my massage almost immediately.
My masseuse was Chulita and she was wonderful! I was offered two scent options: lavender or peppermint. She left the room so I could undress and when I got onto the table I was surprised at how rigid it was; it felt like a piece of wood with a thin cushion over it. The bottom of my chin was also somewhat resting on something wooden, so I had to scoot way up into the face rest. It wasn’t terrible but I’m definitely used to a softer, wider table. When it was time to turn onto my back, there was only a (somewhat flat) pillow under my knees. I’d have preferred a bolster, because my lower back wasn’t supported and was a little achy. Other than that everything was perfect. The temperature in the room was comfortable, and the massage was perfect! Chulita checked in after a few minutes to make sure the pressure was okay, but was silent the rest of the time (which I appreciate, as I’m not one to chat while I get a massage).
It would be nice if there was a mirror in the massage room because my hair was all mussed and I’d have liked to tidy up a bit. There was a bathroom nearby though, so I suppose that’s available for use.
Overall I am very pleased with my visit, and I’ll be returning in two weeks for another massage with Chulita. I was given a punch card and notified that after 5 services (of $ 35 or more) the sixth is free.

Worst Pedicure I have ever received. Cindy was horrible and the girl that worked on my friend was horrible too. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. I have been twice and I should have learned from that bad experience the first time I went. On top of all that, she hurt us and my heals feel worse then when I went in. Blah!

I got my hair cut by Denise today, it was amazing. A true salon experience, my hair looks and feels awesome. I am so happy I found this place on a whim. Thank you!

Haven’t gotten my hair done in 2 years. I had gotten a balayage from Spencer. She did an amazing job! Very friendly and very personable. It’s a cozy little space with a lot to offer. I recommend this place

It hurts me to have to update this review– When I first started visiting this company they were friendly, accommodating and took immediate ownership of guest service. Now things have changed if the manager is not in and something goes wrong the staff does not have the power to make decisions or help clients until the manager is in next. The staff tries to make you feel at blame and does not care that one employee says one thing and then another does not honor it.

This salon completely surpasses any other salon I have gone to. The customer service is spot on. From the minute you walk in the door, to when you walk out the door. You are greeted, and treated like a million dollars. The prices for their services are very reasonable. Ninyel is the salon manager, and has set the tone for the salon since day 1. They have a purpose and culture there, which makes a big difference to the way you are treated. I feel comfortable to have anyone of the girls, Nicole, Becky, Fawn or my regular lovely, Ann color my hair, because they have a system in place. Everyone that you may come in contact with, will makebsure you have an amazing experience. Oh, and Barbie gives the best facials ever!!!

Summary 5 Stars for Color — 1 star for styling ability (if you are a flat iron girl you will be fine), 2 stars for costs.
I have gone to Bella Dolche 3 times now — 2 appointments for myself and one for my daughter. I have a little longer than shoulder length hair that is quite curly (if I use the right products) or can be a frizzy mess. The first impression with the salon when I called was great, very nice and helpful. Part of the reason I chose this salon was because it’s an Aveda salon which I had been accustomed to. An apointment was set with Nai. I needed a cut and color (get rid of those pesky gray roots). Nai was great and did caution me that to update my color (going to a little redder red than I was already at) she would have to use 2 colors. I thought — no problem, that sounds fine. My previous stylist used 2 colors each time I had my color done (and did my eyebrows to boot). Long story short, the process was not different from what I had been used to at a high end salon in downtown Seattle but the price sure was… when she said 2 colors she meant charging me for 2 separate colors which cost $ 210, more than I had ever paid previously. Loved the color and the cut but, not the way she styled my hair. I’m one that round brushes my hair when I dry it, smooths out my natural curl, gives me a little wave and a lift in the front so it’s not flat and stays out of my face. Nai started pulling out these gigantic round brushes that she proceeded to roll my hair up in and leave there hanging. Ok… this is different but, just go with it. I tried to get a good look as it looked like there was hair still in the brushes from previous use but couldn’t get a good enough look to confirm — that is not a great feeling. This method did not produce the smooth hair I am used to so after attempting to fix on my dry hair ended up getting it wet the next day (something I normally don’t do to allow the color to really get set in) and restyling myself. Still, the color was good and the cut was well done so I made an appointment for my teenage daughter. She was very pleased with the cut and styling (she’s a flat iron girl) and that is saying something as she is very picky, She did mention that Nai is rough handed — which she is. It’s not a relaxing experience to have her wash your hair for sure. Yesterday I had my second and most likely my last. It was time to cover those pesky gray roots again. Nai did an excellent and thorough job of getting to all the roots, which is greatly appreciated. Then instead of using the same color and just pull it through, the rest of my hair, she let the color process and then after doing a partial rinse, she applied a solution to refresh the color. My mistake for not speaking up but, the smell was overwhelming and I felt like I had trouble breathing. Again, the rough handed washing, and she barely let the conditioner sit on my hair at all so when she got done it was a complete rats nest — again, not something I’m used to. Again, the styling was sticking the big ol’ round brushes in my hair and letting them hang there. Still love the color but on the way home I was nearly in tears as my hair was so flat and falling in my face. Definitely not the way you want to feel when leaving a salon. Nai also seemed rushed towards the end as she told me a couple times she had another client waiting. And, yes… this morning I had to again wet my hair (and condition it) as I couldn’t do ANYTHING with it. Like, that was my fault? If they didn’t schedule Nai’s appointments appropriately, how is that my issue or concern? I also had an appointment for a brow wax yesterday. The appointment was scheduled by Barbie, with Barbie so I was surprised when I showed up and the woman at the front desk said she would let Denise know I was there. Denise? Who is she? No explaination was ever given, I figured maybe Barbie was ill or not able to make it — so was surprised when I saw Barbie in the salon not 5 minutes after my brows had been done. Denise was very nice and did a decent job on my brows but, I’m pretty certain it’s not something she does all the time as she is one of the stylists.

I moved to Everett about 4 months ago and was looking for a hair stylist. Bella Dolche Salon & Spa was recommended to me by a very satisfied customer. I have long hair and really haven’t done anything to it for years except small trims. I scheduled an appt with Spencer for the following week, and she was a delight. As soon as I walked in the lady at the reception was incredibly attentive and polite. Soon after, Spencer met with me and we talked about what I had in mind. I wanted to keep my hair long but with many layers, and some sort of highlight that look natural. She did a beautiful job on my haircut and the balayage (new word for me). I am so happy to have found this salon and Ms. Spencer. Definitely will be back and recommend to everyone.

Thank you Becky for doing an excellent hair cut and color! Finally found someone that I can trust with my hair after years of searching. It is a little pricey but since I don’t go the regular 4 – 6 weeks like lots of women do I can justify spending a little more per visit. Only a four star because when sitting in the chair processing I noticed there are scuff marks on lots of the walls, just looks like it needs a little touch-​up and other hairstylist on their cell phones chatting– not really a relaxing experience listening to peoples conversations.

Fantastic salon for men and women alike. It’s extremely clean, always has good music, and has complimentary beverages for those rare occasions when a client screwed up the schedule and you have to wait. Everyone is nice, and I love that they have the text reminders for appointments. Obviously Aveda is top of the line so you’d expect this type of atmosphere, but far too often do I get disappointed by the environment at other salons. Bella Dolce sets a great example of what salons should aspire to be with affordable pricing considering the quality of both the products and the stylists.
I’ve worked with Taylor Carlson multiple times, and she’s the best stylist I’ve ever had. It means a lot when a stylist is willing to go above and beyond expectations to make sure the client leaves feeling happy, and Taylor personifies that perfectly. Not only do I look good when I leave, but Taylor consults with me and gives me tips to make sure that I stay looking good between trips. She’s the definition of customer service. I highly recommend her.

I went in for a Brazillian and a full face wax. Fariba and she missed lots of sections. It was $ 145 and not worth it. Won’t go back. :(
Half assed wax. Too fast not enough attention to detail! Side burns were uneven. Whole sections missed and I’m shaving to get the areas she should have gotten.

Stylist I was referred to called in & missed appt. I was turned to a a stylist who did not do a great job. But they called and are willing to fix it.
They came to the rescue! Now looks great, thanks to Spencer.

I really wanted this salon to be good. I’ve been there twice– the first time I didn’t like the way my hair turned out. It was a corrective color to cover a lot of red that another hairdresser pulled from my hair with an over processed color. (I don’t like red and I look terrible in it.) The stylist at Bella Dolce wouldn’t do the simple tone I asked for to tone down the red and developed a complicated dye plus highlight scheme that was much more expensive. She finally convinced me it would be better than a simple tone. It was tolerable, and much darker than I expected, and still very red. It WAS better however and she said a good fix for my hair couldn’t be done in one session and I believed her and scheduled a second appt for three months later. The second time I went I wanted to try to get the rest of the red out of my hair while keeping it the about the same level and place a few blond highlights. Again it was very expensive compared to my previous salon, and it came out terribly. The bottom is nearly black, instead of light neutral brown like my natural color, and the T section is dirty blonde, with a lot of gold in it still. My hair is terribly two toned, like that hairstyle that used to be popular– black on bottom, blond on top. It does not look like a light neutral brown with a few blond highlights. The right side, that the helper stylist applied color on was patchy with a dark streak by my face and then a reddish spot near the roots. The stylist made lots of excuses– 1. The air from the door you asked us to open for fresh air (it was very smelly) caused it to oxidize funny on that side. 2. Your hair was like that before and that’s the best we can do. (it was not like that before, she colored it before, and it was another ugly blame it on the customer excuse) 3. You want it blonder so what we really need to do is get you back in here for some discounted highlights to cover that spot up and make it blend. Finally, after I explained that the other side looked pretty (even though it was much darker than I wanted) and that i wanted the two sides to at least look the same, she offered to add some highlights to both sides near my temples to make it better. It helped a little with the reddish/​gold patch but the dark streak remained, now with a light streak in it.
I don’t like to argue with people,
I don’t appreciate talking to my stylist about how I want my hair to be and looking at color swatches, and then getting a lot of excuses when it doesn’t come out well. It was smelly and stressful and I cannot afford to do anymore «fixing» to my hair as I have now spent 400 $ on my hair in 3 months. I do not think I should have to pay for the fixit highlight option to make the top blend with the bottom. THAT should be free! I did not ask for and did not expect and was not told I would receive two-​toned hair. I will unfortunately have to live with this mess until Christmas when I can afford to go somewhere else. I am hoping the dark under part of my hair will lighten with washing like she said it would. I think the quality of hair color and the excuses merit one star, but I gave an extra star because everyone was friendly nonetheless, and she did do a few highlights to make it better. Also, the red is mostly covered in the darker section.
Update: I called management and another stylist fixed my hair, making it all the darker color. She did a very nice job, and the color is nice. However, the color has faded over the gray hairs significantly, making the gray parches noticeable and I never wanted this darker brown color.

I wrote a really negative review regarding an experience a friend and I had with a single employee at Bella Dolce Salon and Spa after attempting to get in contact with the manager through their website. I’m deleting the details of the review and raising the rating as the manager just contacted me and refunded me for the bad experience and didn’t receive the original email I sent.
In my review I mentioned that all members of the staff besides the one I had a bad experience with were wonderful and accommodating; I think taking the time to read customer reviews on Unilocal and make unhappy customers rethink coming back to the salon proves that as a whole this is a salon that aims to please customers and provide high quality services.
Because of the excellent customer service the manager just provided I will reconsider visiting Bella Dolce Salon again and not let a bad experience with one employee defer me from using them as my go-​to salon as everyone else there was wonderful. The salon is very clean, relaxing, and has awesome Avedo products and I’m really glad that I can feel comfortable continuing to go there and will update this review as I try out more of the services they have available.

Absolutely fabulous. It was my boyfriends daughters 12^th birthday and she had always wanted to go to my «fancy» salon, shes only ever been to super cuts and places like that. They were able to get me an appointment with only one day notice. As soon as we walked through the door, it seemed they all knew it was her birthday and went out of their way to wish her a happy one. They totally pampered her and made her feel special and important. She has the most straight hair imaginable, but loves curls. They curled her hair just how she wanted it and it stayed curly for two days, which is amazing since her hair usually goes straight after an hour. I’ve been coming her since Salon Dolce closed, usually just get a color and a trim, but they make it so much more. You feel completely revitalized by the time you leave and my hair always looks fabulous.
