Ok, I love the casual, no rush attitude but the fake eggs, are you kiddin??? Awful! My friend was given a sample but after my 3 friends ordered, samples we not mentioned. Otherwise, I would not have ordered the egg/bagel breakfast. Made from cauliflower I think it was said. I have no problem with«different«food but it needs to taste good! It’s an So-so place but from the reviews, I was disappointed. I ll go back if someone else plans it but won’t be my idea

Comfortable seating options, free wifi, tasty salami/provolone panini, and solid pour-over coffee. Great place to get some work done away from home.

Such a great place to hang out, support local artists, and grab some raw vegan food. The first time I went was for open mic night and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they have raw vegan food. Since then I have been back two more times and have tried all the raw offerings that they have. My favorite is the tacos with a very yummy nut mixture that pairs well with the salsa they use. The nori rolls are good as well and they have liquid aminos for dipping or pouring over them. They have a mock tuna that wasn’t listed on the menu, I was offered a sample before ordering it and it wasn’t bad. I do my best to avoid onions so I ordered it for my daughter and she enjoyed it in a gluten free wrap but it can also be eaten as a salad. My least favorite was the pizza due to the texture of the crust. I love how each meal comes with a salad. For dressing I’ve had the vegan ranch and strawberry vinaigrette. Out of the two I prefer the ranch, one reason being the thinness of the vinaigrette which seeped onto my tacos. It’s all going to the same place I know but I really enjoy the flavor of the tacos on there own. You bus your own dishes, they have an electric mix of coffee mugs for serving yourself some water and I love that they compost. I love the friendly customer service. I am always welcomed when I walk in. Each time I order I was asked if I was familiar with raw vegan food to insure that I understood what I would be getting and would be satisfied which I think is great. For the open mic they have separate sign ups areas for musicians and poets, a feature, and at the end brave poets can put together a poem on the spot using prompts from the audience.

This Place! Walking in for the first(and only) time ever was a visual delight. The love of eclectic art and the house Dalmatian, Zippy, is evident at first glance. Upon meeting the owner, I realized that this place is a beautiful reflection of her energy and welcoming, funky vibe. I had a lavender soy latte for my quick meeting — Bombtastic! There are many coffee options that start out with double shot, food options, and even adult beverages. Such a cool place located in downtown Everett. I will be back, with friends in tow.

I have been there a couple of time now and have loved there teas and the people unfortunately the food is not. The nori rolls are rolled in soggy seaweed. Just to warn people and my friend wasn’t a huge fan of the salads. The small town community feel though is great.

I really like the food here, so that gets most of the stars. The raw Mediterranean pizza is fantastic. They make their own hummus and salad dressing. Negatives include the fact that it is dirty with visible stains on the pillows. They also have a station for bussing your dishes that is hidden in the back, which the employees act like you are supposed to know is there. I’ll come back to eat, but that’s because Everett sucks and there’s not many better options available.

I’ve gotta agree with some other reviews. This place could definitely use some more hard working employees. It’s pretty dirty and the service is super slow. The food is bland. The coffee isn’t that special. I wish it were better since I live just down the street. But after having the same service the 5 or 6 times I’ve went in. I’m done.

I have my full circle delivered to this café. The owner is very friendly and I love the idea of supporting a local business, which supports organic and healthy living. This is the only shop that I’ve found that makes a hemp milk latte with lavender. I know that sounds super hippy dippy, and I’m so not a hippy but it’s delicious! The artichoke panini is my favorite sandwich. I don’t typically eat in here, I did once with my toddler. My baby tried to pet the Dalmatian«Zippy» and she was growled at. This was enough for me not to bring her back. But I’m sad to have read that zippy passed away in another review. Anyway, overall I stop by café zippy any time I’m in the area and I do recommend it to others who care about supporting local, organic and sustainable businesses.

Go here! It’s a very local and sustainable minded place. Most of their drinks are organic, including espresso! It’s artsy and next time I’m in town I’d like to eat here. We picked up coffee on our way to the park and instantly knew I’d like this place.

I was day tripping to Everett to explore the community and see if I found any nice things to photograph. At some point, I realized I’d missed my morning coffee & breakfast, so I checked out this little café. Good: Service, tasty breakfast bagel, reasonable costs, decent tasting green tea latte(I’m going to assume they don’t make too many of these — it was a tad burnt). Clean restroom with fun art, & generally a friendly atmosphere(eg employees knew many customers names). Also, all the open tables & seats were actually clean! This for whatever reason is a rarity in coffee shoppes, so kudos for doing what many people don’t — keep the place clean in between patrons. Disappointments: — Less vegetarian entrees than I’d assumed(due to Unilocal suggesting it as a vegetarian place). This gap may be of no fault of the establishment as much as Unilocal system. — No real life Dalmatian dog in sight. Bummer. I like dogs a lot. I’m really hoping to meet him/her sometime, though. Next time I’m in Everett I’ll try to stop by again — it looks like they have a decent little local & regional beer & wine selection to try as well as a few panini’s I’d like to get my hands on.

Fantastic tea! I loved their black tea with coconut enough that I bought some to take home and brew on busy mornings. Friendly and caring staff. Very casual atmosphere complete with their 13 year old dalmatian snoozing on his bed.

This place has got a great atmosphere and good coffee, plus it was unique and was obviously invested in giving back to the community. I was disappointed that our barista gave us our coffee in paper cups even after we specified we wanted it «for here», but judging by pictures on other reviews I assume that is not normal practice. As unique and trendy as the building itself was, it did seem slightly dirty – maybe it is an intentional«Grunge» feel? However, I enjoyed the coffee and the service enough to give it another shot when I’m next in the area. It’s worth checking out just for the local flavor.

Great-tasting, organic, free-trade, local coffee! This may be one of the better/best cafés in Everett in terms of coffee quality. The shop is a little cluttered and feels very Seattle-ish in its culture. I recommend stopping by, even if only for a drip. This is a way better alternative to Starbucks.

Zippy is a friendly place. A place that you take friends to when they fly in. It is a place you can sit, soak in an earthy, unpretentious vibe. A place where you know that the folks near you have gone to because they are… well, the kind of people you like to meet in coffee shops. I have tried several sandwiches, they were all good. Zippy also had some wonderful teas and cheesecake as well. Zippy can be seen there sometimes, quite literally. The dalmatian is friendly and sometimes the dog waits patiently for the seat I am occupying. The coffee is great, the vibe is cool and could it even get any better? Zippy’s is now a Co-op! Everett FINALLY has a coffee shop that really cares about equality and empowerment. Way to go, Zippy! We love you!!!

Donate $ 0.35 to cover the credit card fee? Is it a non-profit coffee shop? Otherwise the coffee was pedestrian, not great but not bad either. I’d probably go here again if I was in the area and in need of coffee, but I won’t go out of my way.

It took me awhile to get my butt to Zippys but I’m glad I did. Zippy was his usual friendly self and the quality of the coffee/cocoa hasn’t changed. Love the place and how they decorated it. It’s relaxing and you feel welcome to be there. I will definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone who has not been there.

First time being here! I’m always at Starbucks so I decided to branch out of my comfort zone and go local café hunting! This café is located a little off main street but is located in a decent part of downtown so you still get the hustle and bustle of the city. Parking is convenient, as there is parking right in front of the café. First impression as I walked in was that it definitely looked a lot bigger in pictures but I personally think it’s the perfect size for a café. Everyone who was seated looked very cozy, either in the mismatched couches by the entrance or at the tables with art hanging behind them. It’s a pretty cute decorated café, with local art. The artist of the paintings hung behind the booths came by, and I spoke to him briefly about his art so that was pretty cool. I approached the cashier area and looked at the menu. The menu is pretty high up so I think I just really lost for a little bit. The girls were pretty busy so I was standing there for maybe about five minutes before one asked me if I was ready. I told her it was my first time and she handed me a paper menu so it wasn’t difficult for me to read. Very nice of her — I just think they should have either more of those paper menus handy right off the bat or they could lower their food menu. I proceeded to order whatever sounded good to me, which was a 12oz mocha smores and a dry salami panini for here. I usually ask the barista or whoever is behind the cashier what their favorite item is whenever I go to new places but the barista just looked very tired so I didn’t want to bother her. After ordering, I found myself a table in the booth area and plopped down. I noticed when I put my laptop on the table that the table just felt kind of sticky. Kinda gross but I needed a lot of space for my books/papers so I just stayed there. The booth was kinda unstable. The lady next to me kept wiggling around in her seat and I could feel it every single time she moved. Oh well. I think I got my food and my drink after almost 10 – 15 minutes. After I ordered, a bunch of people came in and it seemed like she was doing all the work(there was another girl in the back but I didn’t really notice her doing anything) — poor girl! No wonder she looked so exhausted. Anyways, I really enjoyed my mocha. I would definitely recommend it to a friend if they ever come here. My sandwich, for the price($ 4.95) was not worth it. It was extremely creamy/cheesy but I’m just glad I wasn’t hungry enough to order a full. A full panini is like $ 9! It came with a side of tortilla chips, which were pretty bland. Totes not worth it but I didn’t know any better considering it is my first time being here! It’s whatever though. After I finished, I took my dishes over to the bus station. The dishes box was overflowing with dishes! I feel like the girl who wasn’t doing much behind the counter should have at least been doing the dishes but that’s none of my business *takes a sip of coffee* haha. I think it’s great that they offer vegetarian/vegan and organic foods but it’s definitely not worth the money for what you get. Oh, another thing — come with cash! The barista asked me if I wanted to donate 35 cents for transaction fees when I paid with my card. Of course I didn’t say no because this is a small business and I support all that they do, but keep that in mind! How could you say no, right? So, my total for a 12 oz mocha, half a panini, and the 35 cent fee was $ 9.09. Meh. Overall, I actually liked this place. I think whenever I come here next time, I’ll just explore some more coffee options as opposed to eating here.

Decided to try this little place based on the previous reviews, and we weren’t disappointed! I’ve been back twice since, and everything I’ve ordered was great!!! The iced mochas are delicious, I really enjoyed the artichoke panini and the coconut macaroons are fantastic! Nice downtown location, and we also went on a Monday evening for some talented live music. Great place to take a break!

The Salami Sandwich(panini?) was the best sandwich I’ve had in a loooong time! The flavor tea, Once Upon a Tea was absolutely delicious! Friendly owner, Marilyn was so easy to talk to and we had a nice chat while having a tea with Zippy. I’ definitely going back :-)
