History

Established in 2015.

Tara Neal fell in love with the expressive art of dance at the age of 3. She has studied many different styles of dance including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pointe, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, and Hip-​Hop at various studios in the Seattle/​Eastside area. At 14 years old, Tara started teaching her first classes and quickly discovered what a true joy it is to share her passion for movement with others and has been teaching ever since.

After many years of taking classes under industry greats and working for various studios, it was January 2015 that Tara began to realize her destiny. She had always had dreams of opening a studio that was encouraging and welcoming of all students, as well as creating a safe space for dancers to discover the power of the art form. Six months later in July, she received the keys to what is now known as Charm Dance Company.
