Community Health Center of Snohomish County

Mind you, this is a general practice health care center along with dentistry and a pharmacy. This review is about the Pharmacy and its incompetence. The practitioners themselves are quite alright but skip this pharmacy when you’re asked where you want your prescriptions filled. With that out of the way, onward:
CHC Pharmacy of Everett, is more concerned with moving product than they are with your health. They’ll even get sketchy on the basics if they can get that old crusty box of testing strips sold than getting the order right.
Yeah, I just wanted testing strips for my Accu-​Check Aviva. I had the device and the old testing strips to show them. In the first visit, they said it would only take 15 minutes after stating I had to leave for work soon. 15 became 45– actually, just little under an hour so I had no choice but to leave. The next day, another 30 minute wait and the order is filled with this crusty old flimsy box… of drums… for a completely different and old device. Both times at their desk I had my device and current strips in plain view. It was easy to see the device and the model and what the strips looked like. So that’s $ 35 down the drain — no refunds. A scumbag move to move some product that should have been discarded.

I have been to this clinic three times. The first for a routine wellness exam was okay, the doctor didn’t have a great bedside manner and there was a bit of a wait.
The next two times were at the dental clinic. The receptionists were very personable and friendly. I was checked in quickly and called back within 5 minutes. The dental assistant and dentist had a great rapport with each other both times and were friendly to me as well. I was surprised how comfortable I felt as I am generally very afraid of the dentist.
My only complaint is that they get booked very quickly and you have to make appointments 3 – 5 months out.

I’ve been there a couple times because they’re close to my house. First two experiences were okay, nothing spectacular but nothing horrible.
Today i saw Dr Suzanne Powell. Hadn’t seen her before. She was amazing, patient, understanding, easy to talk to, non-​judgemental, and supportive. I can’t say enough nice things about her.
I’ve put off listing any dr as my PCP because i haven’t been thrilled with anyone but I’m proud now to call her my Dr.

Went here one time due to lack of insurance and no money. I hope I’m never sent here again. I explained to them that they were referred to me by another physician due to my financial situation.
I filled out all the necessary paperwork, etc. The doctor never did anything to help me. Not even a simple blood test performed. What CHC of SnoCo did do, is refer me elsewhere. Nothing more. And for this, I receive a bill of over $ 200, even though they knew I was unable to pay them anything.
Whoever the administrators of that place are, they would do well to LISTEN to the community for which they are here to serve. A lot of us walk through their doors due to lack of money. That does NOT mean we are unintelligent or beneath them. What we lack financially, we make up for with our wish to express our opinions. Here on Unilocal,that opinion seems very unfavorable. I would think the powers that be would feel dissatisfied with that and seek to carry out changes toward improving. Or, maybe for them, the bottom line is to simply brush the issues under a rug, and stomp all over the injured poor to line their coffers. What a shame and a disgrace.

My doctor is amazing, she is kind, professional and has made a great impact on my life.

We’ve been here for over 40 minutes already and we had an appt.
Also, front desk couldn’t tell me how much they charge for a general visit for someone without health care coverage
Today they barely gave me same day appt because they were full

Go somewhere else. Seriously. Don’t consider this location for anything. At all. Ever. The sheer incompetence, inability to get anything done and the time involved is unreal. No one department can get a hold of anyone in another. They won’t give you a physical prescription to fill at their pharmacy. No, they have to send it there. And it won’t make it there. Ever. Even after six freaking hours. And then they try to get you to do their own jobs by sending you back and forth from the office to the pharmacy. Hours later you will leave without having filled your prescription and one department blaming the other. Whatever your health concerns are, no matter how close this place may be to you, no matter how urgent your needs may be, NO ONE here gives enough of a crap about you or your health to actually make sure anything gets done. Avoid it. For your own sake. Please.

I have been at this clinic since February 1, 2014. It was recommended to me when my doctor moved his practice. After 3 months at this clinic I have yet to be treated for all but 1 complaint (restless leg syndrome). When my insurance called them before transferring me to them, they were told I would be treated for my chronic pain. I have fibromyalgia, bipolar, anxiety, interstitial cystitis, severe gastric issues and PTSD. I also have issues with chronic falling. At my first appointment I gave them a very detailed list of my health. I also signed a release for them to get my records from my old doctor and a list of my current medications.
In February I had a fall in the parking lot and whacked my head very badly. I had to go to the hospital emergency room. When I went for my follow up at my primary care doctor they refused to treat me for the injury. Sending me to the emergency room yet again. The Emergency room treated me and referred me to a neurologist. The ER Doctor was furious about the care I was not receiving from the primary care doctor. On my second follow up I was refused any medication for the injury and told to take ibuprofen, which I’m not suppose to take due to gastric problems.
If you ever decide to change primary care doctors, please do not put your health in their hands. I’m currently looking for a doctor who will actually treat me as a person. I am not a bad person, nor am I hard to understand. But to this day they have not tried to get my records or enter my current medication list in their system. How can anyone expect good care when they are not capable of the easiest of tasks.

They are a low income clinic with low income docs that are not cool. I found some of the nurses to be nice, but the docs I am guessing went to a medical technical school for a year or so. One doctor would not give test results over the phone. Let’s see? You are there because you are broke, but she wanted me to come in and pay for an office visit to tell me I was ok. BS!
Then my son was very ill and had been for some time. They tested him for something totally unrelated and sent him home. A week later he went back in there, they sent him to emergency and he had to have emergency surgery.
Don’t go there unless you are desparate.
