Dana’s Transmissions

Here I sit for the third time this month trying to get my vehicle fixed. I would never have come back a second time except that now the transmission is warranty work since I took the word of other reviewers and let this.. . ahem, person change it out in the first place. He must have friends writing reviews for him. He also apparently hates to communicate with his customers. I don’t seem to be able to get a word from him on how things are progressing. The first time took three weeks and no communication. The second time two weeks and when my husband called it was miraculously done. Wonder if he ever would have called us to let us know? I am afraid how long it may take this time. Or how long the «repair» will last. So far about three days seems to be his norm. Please do yourself a favor and do not subject yourself or your vehicle to this.

Tom is outstanding and they know how to fix your car the right way the first time. They don’t waste your time charging you fees for estimates, they are done for free. Prices are good too and if you are a Boeing employee, you will get a discount. I think Military gets one too. Don’t let the sign fool you, they are a full service facility.

Took my vehicle in for a bad transmission. Price was five hundred higher then quoted. Had a leak that was not fixed. Also had loose bolts that I found. They acted as if it was no big deal.

I worked with Tom, the owner (I believe) who was a complete professional. He didn’t try any scare tactics, and was honest, helpful, and very friendly. What I truly appreciate about Tom and his crew was that they provided options and gave their professional opinion on each. I trust Dana’s Transmission and I am not the trusting sort. There was some issues about 18 months after I had my transmission fixed and took it back. Still under warranty, and they took their time to find the problem and fixed it — no charge. Great service, great folks there, and their number one concern is their customers. I will always have nothing but good things to say about Dana’s and will refer anyone there. Thanks! Had a strange noise coming from the transmission in my ’07 F150. Thom got the diagnosis right on the first guess. It was a cracked flex plate. But to be sure he took it on a test drive and tried to be certain that was the issue. Then he had his crew open it up and tell me what they saw. They couldn’t tell for sure at that point, but it was clear something wasn’t right, so I left it there to be fixed. Once they had it apart, they discovered it was in fact the flex plate… thankfully, because that was much less cost than a rebuilt transmission. So they fixed it quickly and got me back on the road, and on the lower end of the cost spectrum they quoted. I particularly appreciated how fast they worked — it was only in the shop for a day and a half. I’m very impressed with Dana’s Transmission and I will use them again.

This place is really wonderful, we have a ML 320 Benz that has been giving us problems so we took it in. They could not help us because it wasent somthing they could do but they were so honest about it and took the time to talk to me untill I really understood what I was up against. Its people like that that remind you that there are still very good people in this world. Thank you so much!

I had my transmission rebuilt with a new one here. The job came in $ 500 more than they quoted me. The rebuilt transmission had 2 leaks which were discovered by my mechanic 2 weeks later. When I took the car back to them, they said they would fix it. They failed to fix one of the leaks. When I brought the car back to them, the mechanic actually chewed me out.
