Inter-County Towing

I recently had a peripheral encounter with this company. I have to say, they employ some of the rudest people I’ve ever had the misfortune to come across. And their pricing should be considered extortion. $ 211 for a half hour tow of less than 3 miles. And $ 160 for less than 48 hours of keeping the car locked up (Christmas even and Christmas). Yup, Merry Christmas. It was my room-​mates car not mine but they were rude to both of us and when I was asking for clarification as to why it was so much higher than Seattle’s maximum allowable towing rates I was told «It doesn’t matter» and that she was «Shit out of luck» and then when I asked why he was being so rude I was told that if I didn’t leave he’d call the police (which is really funny to me since I’m former law enforcement). What a miserable little man.
I cannot believe that this extortion racket hasn’t been doing something illegal.

Put in a call for a battery jump and the truck never arrived and never called to cancel. After an hour we called again and received no answer. Multiple times! After two hours we trudged through the rain to an auto parts store and bought a $ 90 set of cables attached to a battery and did the jump ourselves. Awful, awful company. Thanks for nothing!

Horrible. After my friend had her car stolen by some drug addict loser in North Everett, the apartment complex that it was left at had it towed. Lucky us, Inter-​County Towing got to tow her car back. When we finally made it inside the dungeon doors to pick the car up, we were greeted by the rudest man I have ever had the unfortunate pleasure to meet. You would think that after a girl had her car stolen & vandalized that he would be a little compassionate. My mistake. When I asked how come she had to pay for the fees even though it was stolen, he said «well how the hell do I know it was stolen?!» I said, she has the police report right here and I can see on your slip for the car that it says STOLEN right on it! And he said well we don’t know that at the time. I said well you do now so why should she pay all this when she did nothing wrong?! And he stood up and yelled at me, «well SOMEONE is gonna pay for it, and it’s not going to be me!» So I said wow you’re extremely rude! When he told me that he was the owner I told him he shouldn’t be in business and he told me to get the f@*k out of his shop. I called him an a**hole and told him I wasn’t leaving my friend. So he came around and grabbed my arm and told me to get out otherwise she wasn’t getting her car back! So I snatched my arm back and told him I would call the police if he laid another finger on me. I have never in my life dealt with such a horrible human being! I hope he rots in hell! I would give this place –5 stars if I could.

Quick tip I posted 2 week ago: «What a psychopath! Weaving in and out of traffic IN A TOW TRUCK going crazy speeds. And his blinker is on for miles now. Pulled up next to him, he’s texting and smoking!»
I wouldn’t trust this towing company with my car, the driver could of really hurt someone. We had to keep a safe distance, which wasn’t hard considering he was going about 20+ over the speed limit. Once we both reached a stop light it was clear what the problem was, he was smoking and texting.

Kudos to Inter-​County Towing for making it possible to access accident-​involved vehicle on a weekend. Staff were friendly, courteous.
