Great hair cuts, friendly people. Great place to go. Went in not knowing exactly what i wanted, just ideas and the owner took care of me and came out looking better then I expected.

I really wanted to love this place and I even went back for a second cut, but I couldn’t get over all the religious stuff. The first time I went, there was a TV screen scrolling through bible scripture quotes and Christian music playing. It made me uncomfortable, but I got a nice haircut so I decided to try it again. The second time the TV was off, but the music was still on and while I waited my turn the hairstylist in front of me started actually preaching to the young man in his chair. That’s just not the atmosphere I’m looking for in a barber shop.

Eric the owner is utterly fantastic. He pays so much attention to every detail. Literally the best cut I have ever gotten. The new shop is so nice as well. This is my spot from now on.
Side note, as a gay dude, felt slightly out of place with the «bro» nature of the shop, but that was all on me. I just gotta get my «bro» handshake down and I’ll be good. Highly recommend this place.

Just got back from JL for a cut in a new place. I let Chris «the apprentice» Cruz cut my hair. He did great and was very meticulous! I have always let the big chain hair places cut my hair in the past… now i will only go here. He said he gave my hairy ears a makeover and my wife said «whoa! Never came back from… cuts like that before!» Anyway, the owner Eric is great, its a great environment, good people, and put forth a excellent effort into every cut! Worth a couple bucks more than all those chains charge!

Moved to the state earlier this year and needed a barber for my 7yr old son. Found this shop on Unilocal.
Hands down, the best experience in a barbershop my son and I have ever had. I’ve taken my son to JL 3xs now. 1^st visit with Nick. 2^nd with Eric. 3^rd with John. All 3 did an excellent job. They consulted with me 1^st on the cut I wanted for him, and did exactly what I asked. I always book online and never have had to wait beyond my scheduled time. The shop is clean, comfortable and a good environment for all since these guys don’t hold inappropriate conversations when kiddos are around. If we weren’t moving back to Colorado, we would continue coming here. I highly recommend!

The barbers are soooo hot! That Erik guy talks a little too much politics but he makes up for it with that fine ass!

JL was recommended by a friend about two years ago and Erik has been my barber ever since. Great atmosphere, skilled barbers, and convenient location! Never pass on the straight razor!

Erik did it agan! My boys look great and he differed to mama on what the cut should be. The atmosphere is relaxed and Erik keeps the vibe positive. My boys are in elementary school and there were no issues with inappropriate conversation for little ears to hear. Thanks again Erik for your great work and your imprint on the community.

I moved to Washington over a year ago and hadn’t found a place to go yet. I always walked by Jonn Laurenz Fine Cuts and finally decided to walk in to see if they had an opening. I went in and talked to Jacob, he had a open slot and got me right in. Not only is the guy very skilled at what he does, he’s a really chill dude. They create a relaxing, easy going atmosphere. Never felt uncomfortable. (First time going to a professional Barber shop like this). The price was also great for the such an awesome job these guys do. 20 $ for a great haircut, can’t beat it.

Took my 9 year old for a haircut, ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! This place is super clean an friendly. My son loved his haircut an I was super happy. I recommend Erik. Def will be going back!

As a newcomer to the Seattle area from Texas, I needed to find a local shop to get a haircut from that was professional, friendly, and affordable. I went on Unilocal,stumbled across Jonn Laurenz Fine Cuts and decided to give it a shot and I am glad that I did.
Typically JL does appointments (they have a easy to use booking system online), but they took me in once a seat was available. Erik did a great job on what type of cut I wanted and was extremely down to earth, friendly, and humble. Give him a pair of clippers and he’ll turn your hair into a masterpiece. He takes his time to ensure not only you’re satisfied with the cut you received but he’s also satisfied on how it turned out for you.
I highly recommend everyone to check this place out for a great and friendly haircut because I know I’ll be definitely coming back!

New to WA, always had my haircut done in Cali, and saw JL while I was driving. Walked right in no appointment, and they took me as soon as there was an empty chair! Eric is down to earth and a really good barber. Cut the hair exactly like I visioned, lol. Really easy to make appointments online, not needed but makes it really easy to walk in and walk out, instead of waiting, and prices are good for the craftsmanship they do here! Will definitely be back, and a regular for sure!

Found JL online and am very happy I did. Took my son (who is 5) here and he ended up with the coolest cut ever. Erik was great with him and actually cared that he got a good cut vs with a lot of places they seem to just try to get through it as fast as they can since he’s so young. Very cool joint, but don’t be too afraid to go in if you’re a nerd like me. ;) Everyone was very nice. Sending my husband in pronto!

Fantastic cut, fantastic people, fantastic location.
I get my regular cut with Erik and I have been for about a year now. He is a great guy that is an artist with hair. He is easy to talk to about my style and listens to exactly what I want each time, clearly there to serve the customer. He is always polite and we have great faith filled conversation.
I would recommend Jonn Laurenz to any of my friends or family.

Went here for my first time today. These guys are great.
I was skeptical at first since there went really any reviews but I decided to go for it anyways.
I called and was immediately scheduled for an appointment with Jacob. While there I also met the third barber and the owner Eric.
Everyone was very friendly and easy to talk to. They actually tried to get to know me. We talked sports, work and just about everything else.
I was initially unsure how I wanted my hair, I told Jacob how I usually do my hair and asked for his opinions and he went for it. The prices here are great so no complaints there.
If you are a guy looking for a good cut at a good price this is the place to go.
