I had a 15 minute conversation about my case without him even looking at the court documents and gave me generalizations. He charged a half hour at $ 150 and advised he needed to be paid for his time. He also advised I definitely needed an attorney. After speaking with another attorney and getting proper guidance, I actually did not need an attorney and was able to file paperwork on my own. In fairness, he did advise he did not give free consults but he should have actually reviewed the court docs.
