Pawn Fathers

Used to be a fair place to do business and get a loan, but that has changed drastically. Brought in one of my immaculate Gibson guitars (roughly worth $ 1800 on a low estimate) looking for a $ 500 loan and was told the most they could only do was $ 400. The guy obviously didn’t know the value of my guitar and just spouted off some random number, so I suggested that he looked it up, but he wasn’t willing to step away from his cell phone for 2 seconds to get the actual value… then he got rude with me and called me a «know-​it-​all» and I simply replied with «Well…I have been collecting and playing them for 25 years». Then he scoffed and turned his back on me.
The fact of the matter is these guys have become very unprofessional and are resorting to douchebag lowballing.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PAWNSHOP

Wow, my girlfriend and I stopped by to see if they were interested in purchasing some of our jewelry. I was skeptical as my last purchase was a Mossberg shotgun that didn’t work. Not only did they offer less than half of scrap but the owner became very rude and aggressive. We were in a very relaxed and happy mood but what a downer! He’s a very troubled and unstable person. We left laughing at how pathetic he was. I’ll never step into this crappy pawnshop again. They will cheat you if they can get away with it. Zero stars!

I used to be a customer at this store, i enjoyed the staff that USED to be there. I spent a lot of time and a lot of money at this location until I met the owner. She is greedy and rude and had the gall to ask a employee if I even spend money. DO NOT SHOP HERE. I regret spending all the money I did here. Never been so insulted. Update this location was involved in a ATF investigation due to their shady tactics, they were shut down and re opened. BEWARE

Went to this place and got turned away two minutes before closing. I guess they didn’t want my business. Very rude and told me I had to come back tomorrow even though my transaction would have taken less than ten minutes. I guess for them going home is more important. BTW, they don’t have their hours of operations located on their website. Thanks for nothing.

Middle of the Road: Used gun pricing is marginally lower than the cost of New.
Selection of Bolt-​Action is really good, Semi-​Auto not so good.

I’m only writing a review for their DVD collection!
OMG! They have 10,000+ DVDs on sale here! At $ 2.50 a DVD, how can anyone stay away. I came in search for Anchorman and Office Space. I found the only copy of Anchorman, but failed for the other. Here, you will find a combination of new releases and older ones. After you sift through all the Matrix and Harry Potter movies, you will probably find what you’re looking for. Just block out two hours to find it because everything is practically thrown on the shelves. There are DVDs everywhere!!! I wouldn’t be surprised if I found a DVD under the chainsaws and furniture.
Besides that, there customer service sucks. They watch movies while they work. I must admit, I don’t get uncomfortable easily but they were watching movies on full blast with scenes that sounded very porn-​like. Definitely not appropriate, but I can understand why.

I’ve been shopping at the Pawn Fathers shops for over a decade.
When I was a kid I would frequent Pawn Fathers for used cd’s and dvds and window shop the rows of Rolex watches and other «treasures» that people would pawn.
Now it’s Wii games, tools and stereo equipment and whatever else catches my eye.
They have good prices, and if you’re willing to haggle a little like I did, you might get what you want for a little less.
