Great if you need to use legal publication. They have good prices and are quick. They get to the point and let you know all of your options. You do not leave with out all of the information. Today I spent $ 130 on a classified ad that will run for 6 weeks. They explained everything to me and were extrememly helpful.

I’m always hard on newspapers and I think the Herald, like all papers, can do better. In particular by offering more investigative news coverage and beefing up their Op-​Ed section to focus on more than just lifestyle issues.
But in general the Herald is a great paper. They focus on a lot of local issues that other papers won’t. They feature local successes for non-​profits and high school students. Plus they have the best comics section around.
Keep it up.

I’m one of the newspaper thugs that sells the Herald to you at the store. Actually, I manage the crew. You should try supporting a family on straight commission sometime. It’s a good reality check.
But if one of my sales people acts creepy, tell the store manager or call the paper. We don’t need him. The ones I keep make over $ 50 an hour BTW, so they don’t need YOUR order.
As far as delivery service goes, it is a constant problem for all papers. They can pay only so much per paper delivered and with the price of gas as high as it is, the carrier turnover is relentless.

I read thispaper and it’s entertaining, but I usually read old copies lying around public places. I rarely buy the Herald or any newspaper, but I have one big complaint with the newspaper assholes that sit in supermarkets and harrass you to death over a free week’ of newspapers when you get a subscription — –I feel like I’m being harrassed by a thug or something!
Best thing to do when these jerks are trying to make their commission on you?
Tell them you already have a subscription. It really pisses them off.

We started having this paper delivered for one main reason; the fella wanted it to take to work at 5:30am. We were told when ordering that the paper would be on our step, at 5:30am.
It was a good, happy relationship for the first two days. Those were the only two days that the paper arrived in time to be taken to work. This annoyance aside, fella started taking the prior day’s paper to work. This was mainly laziness (he didn’t want to cancel the paper), rather than devotion to this publication.
As our service went on, we were more and more displeased. When signing up, there had been promises of a special offer. Yet our bills never reflected that offer. The papers were thrown all over the place, sometimes in the middle of our townhouse complex parking lot.
We also were skipped for several papers, including a couple of Sunday editions. This was really frustrating, as the Sunday paper was the one we sought the most. We’d call in the morning and they wouldn’t do anything about it. «Oh, we’ll credit you,» was the answer. They never credited us.
We finally canceled the service.
The content of the paper was always decent… not as full as the Seattle papers, but it would keep you busy. I always found the classifieds particularly disappointing. No one advertises in this Snohomish Country paper — they go straight to the Seattle papers. Even the Northern cities such as Everett don’t seem to bother.
