Had to get on here and give five stars to a great restaurant. I just love places like this. I’m sort of shocked that it doesn’t have a higher rating on Unilocal

I wanted to love this place, and perhaps my high expectations going in affected my experience. First off, I will say that the service was decent, the restaurant was clean, and it is very cute and comfortable. However, the food was a bit of a disappointment. I ordered the breakfast sandwich — egg, cheese, lettuce, tomato, sprouts. The bread was not toasted enough and as such got soggy from the cheese. The lettuce was brown on the ends and bitter and the tomato was underripe. I took the lettuce and tomato off and it tasted okay. My partner got a blueberry pancake and a side of bacon. She enjoyed the pancake but it was cooked pretty unevenly, with half being just shy of that perfect golden brown and the other half bordering on burnt. I HATE burnt pancakes! She likes them though, so that worked out for her. The bacon was also overcooked and burnt bacon is never fun. I was also kind of hoping they might have a veggie sausage option, as they boast being veg-friendly(and they are — lots of meat free options on the menu but vegan friends, you will have to heavily modify your order to make it fit for you.) We will probably be back to try lunch. The baked goods looked delicious too but I was trying to keep it light today.

Went for the first time with my sister the other day. Like the location a lot. My sister’s breakfast sandwich was super good. Even cold later on in the day. I had an omelette that was also pretty solid, but the sandwich definitely shone. I’m excited to come back for more sandwiches! Also, it’s a silly trivial thing, but love that the table numbers are toys instead :)

Great soup, salad, sandwiches, quiche. This is next to the coop grocery and is not fancy but the food is great. Bus your own dishes:)

The Sisters is just a fun, cozy place with fresh food and friendly faces. The everchanging artwork is always interesting as is the changing menu. Sandwiches, salads, soups & quiches are always just perfect & healthy. Absolutely worth a visit. I’ve never gone for breakfast but have heard it is equally good. Oh yes, pies & sweet treats are yummy as well Live this place

The Sisters is like a favorite aunt’s kitchen. The food is somehow better than Mom makes, though you would never tell your mom that, the coffee flows freely, and it’s a place made for genuine conversation. I come here often for coffee and their delicious molasses spice cookies. I only wish they were closer to where I live!

Excellent little breakfast/brunch/lunch spot with a ton of charm. I wish they were open on weekends because I’d love to do a lazy brunch here. You order at the counter and are given a toy to display on your table so the servers know where to bring your treats(we got a Bob The Builder). The spacious back dining room has a fun assortment of tables and chairs; it looks like they got all of their furniture at garage sales. Local art covers the walls. GF and I each got the sandwich and soup combo on a cold day while playing hooky from work. My veggie on rye was superlative, with great flavor and texture especially supplied by mashed avocado and toasted sunflower seeds. The cup of veggie split pea was really good and chunky with veggies. Girlfriend got an outstanding grilled cheese on sourdough; her cup of ratatouille was rich and flavorful but heated a bit unevenly… minus one-sixteenth of a star for that. So this is technically 4 and 15/16ths stars. A great little community spot. Can’t wait to play hooky again and eat here.

Love their soups and sandwiches. Sisters are down to earth home style setting. Good vibes, delicious food and awesome staff. Warm atmosphere. Comfort food. Always a pleasure to come dine in. One of my favorite soups is their Borscht. you have to try the borscht when they are serving it!

Underwhelming. Everything we purchased was under seasoned. The split pea was really watery. I believe the sandwiches said potato chips came with the purchase but instead we had a handful of tortilla chips thrown in our bag. Not sure if this is because we came in at 330 right as they were getting ready to close, but their staff wasn’t extremely friendly either. I noticed that the«yogi tea» was $ 2.50 per cup, which is highway robbery considering a box costs just about that much. Had high hopes for this little place since we have just moved to the area and frequently shop at the co-op next door.

Love this place for lunch. Their broccoli chicken cashew salad is great, and I love their maple oatmeal scone. Good soups too. If you are coming during the lunch rush, might be best to call ahead – but then you risk FOMA if a special or soup sounds good!

This place is cozy and conveniently located directly next to a local food Co-Op. It’s nice to be able to get a great breakfast or lunch, refill my bottled water, and buy my organic ingredients… Today I was hungry. I wanted something made with love and these ladies delivered just that– directly to our table. There’s a reason these sweethearts have been in business for so long…(wait for it… wait for it…) they actually care… Yep! My breakfast sandwich was just like I’d make in my own kitchen, if I wanted to cook– which today I clearly didn’t. The bread was toasted, whole grain, with fried egg, tomato, sprouts and bacon. It was simple and filled me perfectly. The other breakfast entrée’ ordered was a non-traditional eggs benedict«special of the day.» Watching the man I was with devour it like a ravenous beast and rate it 5 stars was a great way to start the day. He loved the pesto, bacon, tomato and poached egg idea. Way to go Sisters! We will be back time and time again. This is where to go for love-filled food.

My advice… Only dine in. Don’t get take out especially in the late afternoon. My $ 7.95 chicken salad sandwich. All mayo and olives. So gross.

Delicious, homemade food in a homey, funky setting. This place has great, homemade baked goods, salad dressings– the works! I loved my chicken, broccoli, and cashew salad, served with a perfect sourdough biscuit. My daughter loved her BLT, with added avocado. Will definitely be back.

I ordered a Blt without the T and added avocado, on sourdough. You order at the front than are handed an action figure to take to your table. I chose Sully from Monaters inc. duh. The guy taking the order was super funny, kind, and efficient. Everyone here is friendly and warm. I made my mom order a sourdough biscuit with her salad which I ate most of. It was amazing. Come here when you’re missing home-cooked meals or need some TLC.

Wow! Sometimes the line goes out the door of this place :) Always daily soup and salad specials along with different kinds of quiche, and gluten free bread is offered. Faves: Breakfast burrito served with yummy salsa.(This is served with cottage cheese, I often ask for feta instead, but I love feta.) The sensuous bagel, with garlic cream cheese, olives and sun flower seeds– the veggie bagel is bomb also. But their lemon bars are awesome! I’d order two while your at it!!!

I am a huge fan of the breakfast here. I have tried the eggs benedict with the balsamic vinegar topping, the sausage and biscuit, french toast, and pancakes. The hubby has tried the omelet with avocadoes and added jalapenos. The breakfasts are outstanding. I love the potatoes. Very tasty and flavorful. The pancakes with blueberries are awesome. The avocados in the omelet are awesome and they don’t stint you on the amount. The baked goods are tasty. I have bought the apple pie, shortbread with lemon cookie, and the awesome chocolate tollhouse bar. Really love this place for breakfast! They fresh squeeze the juice. Some months the OJ is not as sweet and tasty as some other months. The grapefruit juice is nice and tart. They leave the pulp in so don’t be surprised.

Sisters is wonderful. It is located next door to the Everett Co-Op and has a wonderful vibe. The staff are very nice and talk with the patrons. If you are in a hurry to grab and go, this is not the place. The line is usually very long at lunch and you could wait up to 15 minutes to place your order. That said, I have seen all types of folks, from the local Navy crew in uniform, to some sassy pants corporate folks. There is various types of Art all over the dining area, including a wall dedicated to the Sister’s Family Pictures. Its very eclectic and a must see. If you are in the mood for a solid lunch with a healthier touch, this is the place to be. I have had many of the sandwiches and i am never disappointed. Believe it or not, i really like the egg salad. I took a risk — you know, because it’s egg salad — but was pleasantly surprised. There are many choices and they will customize for you, which is especially great if you have dietary restrictions. There are other options as well, such as soups, quiche, salads and hot dishes. They sell pies from scratch by the slice or whole and have other home-goods desserts. After you order and pay, grab your drink and silverware, put your tchotchke on your table and someone will bring your meal. You can stay as long as you like or get it to go. This is a very good place to have lunch in the Everett area.

Anything is better than Subway. Sisters offers a nice range of hot items, sandwiches, salads, soups and baked goodies. The service was excellent. Everyone was helpful, kind and attentive. They seemed to have an older crowd here for lunch today, but I love hanging with elders so it was a treat for me. I had a no-frills turkey on wheat. It was okay. All the ingredients were fresh. The chips almost tasted like sun chips. Just that with a can of ‘pop’ cost me a bit over $ 9. A bit pricy, but in my mind I was paying more for the excellent service than the mediocre food.

I’ve been hearing a lot about this little café so I gave it a try today! They have a variety of sandwiches, soups, quiche and desserts! I had the quiche and soup combo for $ 8.25. It was pretty good. The Canadian split pea soup with root veggies(gluten free) was different than the southern style of split pea soup I am used to. After you order and pay, grab your drink, napkins and silverware and find a seat. Plenty of seating. Definitely worth a try!
