Waterford Place Apartments

Way too expensive for the quality. The lights always randomly flicker on and off, as well as the fan. Doors are always getting jammed. Worst part is I can hear everything my neighbors do. I can hear when they wake up, go to sleep, snore, go to the bathroom, watch TV, talk, annoying kids running upstairs all day… Worst apartment I’ve ever lived at. They advertise ‘tranquil lakeside living’ but it is anything but tranquil. Seriously the walls are made of paper.

Can you say SCAM? This complex will do anything to get your signature so they can charge you ridiculous fees. Management is rude and won’t get back to you. They don’t care about proving a friendly environment, they just want your money. Id never suggest living here to anyone. Save yourself the money and steer clear of this dump.

This place is an embarrassment to live at. Looks fairly nice on the outside but complete garbage build quality, carpet, appliances. Faulty wiring, broken drawers, broken screen doors. Constant leaks and drafts. Incompetent maintenance man took 4 days to repair a broken garbage disposal. Locked bikes and entire bbq grill stolen off my deck in the middle of the night.
Office staff is beyond obnoxious and are oblivious to the broken down vehicles, open air drug use in the parking lot, dog crap everywhere and addressing any maintenance issues. They also are completely inept at keeping records of payments. They misplaced my rent check 3 times and threatened with eviction. In speaking with other tenants it happens all the time. Its so bad I’m considering breaking my lease and eating the penalty. Take the advice of everyone here… Run!

These apartments are not as advertised.
I signed the lease without doing a viewing and really regret it!
They leave notes on your door consistently. All the interior such as carpets, doors, bathrooms, oven, etc. are all new, but really cheap. The oven thermometer broke on our second use and it took them over a week to fix. The ceiling fan in the dining area was wired wrong and would turn on and off on its own volition. ALL the closet doors are ready to break at any moment and consistent fall of the sliders. We had a mouse in our complex and didn’t do anything about it for almost a week after my roommate and I started telling them about it. There are also large spiders EVERYWHERE! No matter how many we killed they would keep coming back all over the place and we were on the 3^rd floor.
Children are running around constantly and parking is a complete mess even before you start worrying about backing into the kids running around ²⁴⁄₇. At one point a car got its bumper taken off in the lot and it sat there for over 2 weeks untouched with glass and bumper pieces all over the place. The pool was also dirty most of the time and fairly over crowded with some of the tenants acting like they had exclusive rights to the space.
When my roommate and I decided we had to get out of here we paid a huge lease break fee and then they still charged us another $ 400 afterwards for «cleaning the apartment» including $ 100 in «Other» charges. When we asked about what the other charges were we essentially got the response «you know… stuff». Sounds like a cash grab to me…
They also told both of us separately and together that we do not need to worry about taking our names off the bills… Well that was a lie because 2 months after we left the power company started emailing me about my overdue payments and current charges associated with the apartment. When I contacted management at the place they told us too bad and to take it up with the power company. I guess they wanted to share the wealth with the utilities in the area.
All in all I would say avoid this place like the plague. They have some nice pictures of the main lobby area, but there is a good reason why you don’t see the rest of the complex anywhere online.

Horrible! I definitely regret moving here. Unfortunately I was in a rush to get a place so I settled. The walls are super thin, it’s loud, the apartmebt is small and I only lived here ¾ of my lease due to work and moved out 2 months before my lease was even up and they charged me $ 830 for repairs and carpet replacement. There is no way i racked up that much in repairs when I was never there.

The apartments themselves were not too bad. However the parking was always a nightmare, we didn’t get to use the indoor pool for almost the entire year, garbage bins were always overflowing and the management sucked. They always tried to suck all the money out of us that they could.

This is one of the worst apartment complexes I have ever lived in. Walls are paper thin, managements turns their cheek to drug deals and growth in buildings, parking is a nightmare and no one cleans up the dumpster areas for days. Management is uncaring when you go to them with problems and seem extremely focuses on only getting more money out of the residents. They never return calls, barely fix problems, and fake smile their way through your concerns but don’t even try to pretend they care or will act upon a solution.
The apartments are a nice layout, but not worth the misery of the management team and shady neighbors. FAR TOO EXPENSIVE for the crap you get. Can’t wait to move, stuck in a lease, but WOULLD NOT recommend to my worst enemy…

i rented a place about 2 mo. ago and the service was amazing ! Heather and Michel are so nice and friendly! I will renew my lease when the time come!

First, let me start off by saying the staff is the worst thing about this place. I’ve never had someone lie to cover their own job before… it’s disgusting. I’ve lived here for years and this staff they have is the reason why I’m moving out.
The apartments are nothing to rave about at all! Things constantly break and need to be fixed. The staff say they’ll fix things but within days everything is back to the same old broken junk. Parking is horrible. There’s no parking for guests and most times you can’t even find a spot yourself.
Example 1: I have a leak in my bathroom, it’s been there for quite some time. I asked them to fix this. Their method was to put in blockers around the tub since this is the reason why the leak keeps happening. REALLY?! … well, even after I pointed out the hole that was WET and DRIPPING on the OPPOSITE side of the wall, they continued to say it was the bathtub water escaping during showers. The maintenance man «patched» the wall and called it good. Two days later, the leak was back.
Example 2: I called because my heater stopped working. The staff said this was something common and someone would be out to fix it. The heater worked for one day and then CAUGHT ON FIRE! This heater has not since worked nor has it been fixed.
After bringing these events up to the management staff they told me these were things they had already fixed and that they went above and beyond to make things right. Hmmmm, fixed? Not the case when leaks, mold and fires have been happening!
I would NEVER recomment this place to anyone unless they want to be treated like trash. Don’t let the fake smiles deceive you!
