History

Established in 2001.

This Practice started out of a Need to re-​connect with Nursing and with Seniors. I was working critical care but desired to help others on a «one on one» basis and providing human touch as a service, as nursing once did many years ago.

Originally I was specializing with seniors and the elderly on a out-​call basis and providing seminars to assisted living and Senior Facilities. Around 2004 I met someone I was caring for, that taught me it was the small things that could make a difference in so many others life.

At that point, I choose to not specialize but to provide multiple services, for one type does not fit all. Therefore, I continue to educate myself, so I can assist others on their path to wellness or optimal health

I took the long way around, as you will notice by the alphabet soup initials after my name.

I remember the days of being a nurses aide, that led me to a certified Medical assistant in doctors back offices, with a X-​ray license in tow. But my desire was to become a R. N and after nursing school in 1986, I chose to get general experience in a hospital setting. But my real desire was to provide care to many in a private practice setting. So in 2001, I continued my education with a BS/​MS in wellness, a massage and bodywork specialist.

My need for more knowledge has not stopped and I am proudly finishing a PhD dissertation in Holistic Health.
